- The main event was the showcase of the silent and ever humble Sanjeet Budhwar against the cocky and vocal Kyrgyzstans’ own Atabek Abdimitalipov.
Sanjeet kept his cool and and his head on his shoulders after a lot verbal banter from the Krygzstan team at the press conference and throughout in the lead up to the fight.
Sanjeet known for his fear no one attitude came into the fight all charged with care for his opponents skills.At times even fighting with his hands down.Putting off Atabek with this game plan Sanjeet did allow any advantage to Atabek to press for prominent action.
With chants of India Lifting Sanjeet’s spirit further he thwarted the tough challenge Atabek to become the first Indian MFN Featherweight World Champion. With this being a no mean feat we await what’s next for Sanjeet at MFN.
Sanjeet wins by a unanimous decision.

Why the stage is so slippery
It makes one loose power behind their punches and movement speed
Sad to say this but there are no basics in Indian fighters, they can be tough like sanjeev budhwar but these kind of fighters are not quality fighters, they will never reach a high platforms like UFC, one championship etc.
they are mediocre and noone will know them outside the country. After their peak all they will do is crime and keep young talent down, like our great wrestler Sushil Kumar.
But I like fighters like Anshul Jublee and Angad Bisht, they are humble enough to learn and get better.
