Alan Wake 2 is a survival horror game developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Epic Games. I said back in my Alan Wake 1 review that it'd be a while until I got to Alan Wake 2... but that was a lie. I bought the game day one and devoured it in a week. It's a fantastic game, but for me doesn't quite hold up on a replay. It also doesn't have to, because even though I'm not playing it, I'm still thinking about it.
I don't think a day goes by where the words "Alan Wake" don't go through my head. How ****ed is that? Do I need a doctor? HELP
Thanks for watching and I'll see you next video
(I've done my best to avoid spoilers in this video - I give a rundown of the premise but don't go into it. Depending on your definition of a spoiler I probably just wouldn't watch this video, but if you've never played the game you won't know what you're seeing anyway)

It's a fair review, but I have to correct you in one thing. The Poets of the Fall (/OGoA) are emphatically not a bad band, at least in any technical sense or in terms of their musical talents and skills. They are immaculate professionals, very good at what they do. What you really mean is just that you don't like their usual brand/style of music.

Absolutely. That was lazy writing on my part and I'm grateful to you for being understanding there because that was what I meant. I think I was so in love with The Happy Song, Herald of Darkness and the song from the farm concert in AW1, that when I tried listening to their actual music I was super disappointed... reminded me of 2000s Metallica or something.
They are super proficient too. The way that the guitarist has to noodle in We Sing to fill out the combat sections are really well thought out. It's tough to noodle for 8 minutes and not feel self concious you're repeating yourself hard. I think what I really meant was that despite me thinking they're "bad", Remedy still delivered it to me in a way that I found highly enjoyable, even if the music on it's own doesn't rock me
