Elon Musk has a visionary approach to the future, especially when it comes to advancing technology like autonomous vehicles. However, some RUclipsrs focus on highlighting the negative aspects simply because they fear the rapid pace of change. They’re so attached to traditional ways that adapting to new advancements feels overwhelming for them. To those content creators: if you can’t support visionary progress, at least refrain from creating misleading videos that exaggerate the challenges of innovation. Criticism should be constructive, not rooted in fear of change.

Tesla can unveil 10 millions cars with no steering wheels all the company wants. The reality is that it is being operated in a private arena with pre-determined routes and without traffic interruption. It is NOT the reality. Per Elon's history, he is way far off of his prediction and promises. My wife's Model Y Performance had FSD engaged at 6:45pm this evening while driving towards the direct sunlight during sunset. The car suddenly warned "Take Control Immediately". I think I am the only one who is skeptical of a camera-only based FSD system.
I look forward to the day that I can have a robot go to work for me while I sit at home and still get paid. Then when it returns home its primary objective will be serving/catering to my demands.
Batteries are commonly made from finite sources of lithium, you can't make that sustainable, it's finite. There'd have to be more research into recycling spent batteries more viably, but otherwise a different ingredient or method of storing electricity is needed. Hydrogen seems more viable but it's also more volatile/flammable. It doesn't need batteries though. Putting in the money and time for research, instead of just developing products with current tech and accessible materials, is more costly and unprofitable. I don't think Tesla cares about sustainability if it won't help them in some way. They designed reusable rockets at Space X, but that was because it means they save money, and flights are expensive so the savings are worth it. Reusable rockets are probably easier to design than recycling spent batteries or finding alternative ingredients for them. The technology for steering rockets/capsules was already there when they made the moon landings or rovers on Mars.

Now a days elevators are automated and subways too (in a bunch of towns) here in Montreal the new REM train has no conductor and no one even bats an eye, it's just normal at this point.
