Yes. It’s mostly seasonal folks who live in their park models during the winter months. Some folks just buy an RV spot to park their RVs in during the winter season as well.
My husband and I have started to research RVs, trucks, memberships, etc. We have subscribed to several You Tube channels such as yours. I'm excited to think that in 1.5 years I'll be retired and we can start our RV full-time journey. My husband is big into camera work, videos, travel logs, etc. We enjoy watching the informational videos. He too has several videos posted to You Tube on all of our travels on our Honda Goldwing and in the last few years our cruise ship travels throughout Europe. We have 3 more cruises coming up and then we will settle on our retirement. I found your channel last weekend and enjoying your videos. I have noticed occasionally with some of your videos, the wind comes up and it's hard to hear. I'd like to suggest investing in a microphone wind muff. There are all sorts of models and you can find them on Amazon. It cuts out all the wind noise and easier to hear your most valued information. Keep up the good work and I'm very appreciative of all your information you have to offer. Thank you...
Thanks for watching. We do use a wind muffler for the mic on our larger Canon camera. The smaller G7x does not have the capability to add one so we get some wind noise from time to time.
Thank You for the video. I miss going to the Mega flee markets in Mesa. We have a condo in Hudson FL and live in MN. I really enjoy the the videos to learn about the RV lifestyle. Thanks again
I feel the same way about Monte Vista, they're on the same level for sure. Haven't tried Mesa Spirit yet...one of these days!! We're coming into town the beginning of February and we're returning to Monte Vista.
Wow,,,,, great park. Thanks for the review. We can’t wait to get there. Hoping to head south next month. It’s gonna be a short road trip this year due to Craig retiring later than expected. 😎
Just found your video about installing Battle Born Lithium batteries. Very informative. Curious about if those batteries are getting charged while driving? If they are, did you have to make any changes in settings, and add control device between engine alternator and the batteries? TIA.
That is a great questions. Yes, but in our case, the batteries only get topped off by the alternator. Our solar array normally keeps them charged for the most part. Normally, you would install a Lithium Battery Isolation Module to regulate how the batteries get charged by the alternator. In our case, the batteries never get low enough to where they would have an issue without the LBIM. I spoke to Battle Born and they said you really only need a LBIM if you routinely rely on the alternator to charge the batteries from a low state of charge. An example of when you would want an LBIM would be if you dry camp and nearly deplete the batteries, then hit the road and expect the alternator to charge a nearly depleted battery. Most likely you would damage the alternator and/or the batteries. Hope this helps!
We've spent the last few winters there where it's pretty much how you described except the main gate wasn't manned 24 hours a day like they claimed. Usually at night there's no one there so anyone can drive/walk right in. I along with several others lost our bikes but that happens at every resort so be sure to use a good lock. The other entrance off University Avenue is an unmanned electric gate but it might as well not be there as lots of people just follow you in before the gate shuts behind you. Aside from that we will be going back. The residents and maintenance staff are awesome too.
Thanks for sharing! I see that it’s Thousand Trails Encore, but is there an extra fee for staying there? I’ve read that sometimes there can be fees involved with them. Thanks again!
That seems reasonable. We’re not familiar with that particular membership, so perhaps you might want to do some research via the internet to see what others who’ve had that membership think about it.
It depends if on which membership level you have. The annual pass holders can stay up to 14 days at a time and members with long-term contracts can stay up to 21days. Otherwise, it is retail pricing at about $100 a day. They probably give price breaks for weekly and monthly stays. Hope this helps.
@@LyfUninterrupted I tried booking for May but no go.. Seem only summer months are available.. Well I'll keep trying as it looks like fun to stay there.. Thanks for introducing us to Mesa..
It’s a very nice resort. Most TT or Enore parks are nice. One of our favorites so far has been Virginia Landing in Quincy, Virginia. It’s old, but very open, quiet and sits next to the beautiful Chesapeake Bay.
@@LyfUninterrupted Going to jumping back in to it next month just trying to be here for my mother now that my grandmother has pass. But we will be back at it soon. Thank you for checking on us!

Wait so people live in the houses and the rvs at the same time or do people live in the houses and other people live in the rvs?
Yes. It’s mostly seasonal folks who live in their park models during the winter months. Some folks just buy an RV spot to park their RVs in during the winter season as well.
How far in advance did you have to make the reservation and how long did you stay?
Just a couple of weeks. There were many, many open spots during the entire time we were there.

Thank you! We just spent about 2 months traveling through Florida. Loved it there.

We’ve heard good things about Monte Vista too! Have fun!

No extra fees at this park! Thanks for watching!
Hey just saw a charter membership for sale $2000 plus $750 transfer $550 a year dues does that sound like a good deal. Tia
That seems reasonable. We’re not familiar with that particular membership, so perhaps you might want to do some research via the internet to see what others who’ve had that membership think about it.
I'm looking to purchase and live year round. Friendly community sounds appealing to me ✨, and you had me at solar clothes dryer 😁
Thanks Valerie! Nothing like hanging laundry to dry.
It was nice to meet you two while you were here...sorry we didn't get to meet for an adult beverage...next time.
The pleasure was ours! Thank you.
Just left Monte Vista also in Mesa very nice brand new RV section....also an Encore Resort very nice. safe travels.
We’ve heard that Resort is very nice as well. Thanks for watching!
How long is someone allowed to stay? 1 month, 3 months? More, less?

Should be a great time. Thanks for watching!
Hi Shawnna, nice looking place!
Thanks! We’re glad you enjoyed the tour.
Nice overview, surprised nobody playing pool.
I know! We went in several times but never saw anyone playing. They do have leagues that play at certain times.
I cant find the video on the "time share" type place you mentioned checking out and staying 4 days free.. interested in review.
Terri Arsenault Hi Terri. We actually did a blog post review instead of a video. Check it out at www.lyfuninterrupted.com. Let us know what you think.
