Awesome Resort. Looks like y'all had a blast. We are headed to Peregrine Pines at the AF Academy. Gonna be there for a month. We know y'all spoke highly of it. Can't wait! Thanks, Phil and Stacy! Later, shipmates! Peace.
We spent a week at Peregrine Pines. You will love it. Went to the visitor center and got a map that helped us complete a self-guided tour of the Air Force Academy. Beautiful place. Reprovisioned at the commissary. Fort Carson is just a few miles away and has a much larger exchange and commissary. When we left Colorado Springs we traveled to Montrose for three days to tour Black Canyon National Park and Ouray. Black Canyon was beautiful.
Thanks for the reply. I am sorry, I jumped the gun on the layout. As a want a be rver, I was expecting to see the camp ground first, its layout, and what i could expect when pulling into the camp ground with my rv. I made my comment before I fast forwarded it to the end and saw your drone scanning the grounds. My recommendation to you when making any further shows is to prepare your viewer first , start with A and end with Z. Its like writing a letter, purpose and then explanation. I was really confused about the first part of your video, a lot of dancing, bowling, etc. This is just a suggestion. I like videos like this, it makes my research easier.
What a great resort and it looks like the Crew had a blast. Don't you just love places that brings the kids out of you. Such a nice way to enjoy the lake. Phil looks up and ready to rock. Glad he's recovering nicely. Those houses on the water look amazing. Thanks for sharing this adventure. See y'all on the road!
It’s a nice resort. We stayed there earlier this summer. Unfortunately, we broke down in Denver and the resort refused to give us any credit for the 4 days we missed. If you book here, don’t be late!
Rocky Mountain High. we were told about the west side of RMNP, was too late to change plans, Went to Estes Park, I had gone their 60 years ago to My grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. about 65 people were their. looks as wonderful as imagined. If you have not been to Sturgus, Next August, the super bowl of motorcycles. There is a lot more to do in the Black Hills of SD. than most people think.
Shadow Mountain Lake is incredible by kayak and Trail Ridge Marina is the absolute best! We have seen moose, bear, deer, pelicans kayaking around there and the coves you can get to by kayak is excellent. The absolute best is watching the Osprey diving for their food.
We love that campground….. we watched it being built! The Granby area is my favorite in Colorado….. so much to do! In Winter Park we love to ride the Alpine slide over and over again! Thanks for the video…. good job!🇺🇸
We stayed there in a cabin in March when the entire resort was covered in over 3 feet of snow! It was insanely beautiful!! One of our favorite areas of Colorado!
You were in my backyard! I wish I had known you were here. Not my way to camp but it is very impressive. I bought my motor-home from Dave Huber of River Run. Army veteran and 46-year residence of Grand County. Grand Lake is the largest natural lake in Colorado. The other 2 of the Three Lakes area, Shadow Mountain and Lake Granby are reservoirs. And, yes Phil, Lake Granby can be an unforgiving "bitch." It even has its own Bermuda Triangle.
Just left there this morning headed back home to Colorado Springs. 5 days there, had a blast. One of the best RV resorts around. Lake Granby, Grand Lake and Grand Lake Village, Winter Park and Blackhawk are all an easy drive.
You do know they are draining that lake, so they can fix the Dam. When was this filmed, people are going to the lake expecting to see water and all they will get is mud. Also we are starting to get snow on the passes' and on Vail Pass there was a truck and trailer destroyed. All be careful driving.
y’all are in some of my top five places in the world ! i practically grew up on that lake! can’t wait to get out there on the road to see some of these places!
I'm currently in Alamosa, CO working on a late relatives estate. It's close to the Great Sand Dunes National Park in S.W. Colorado. The Flag thing kinda made me get blurry eyes. As a retired veteran FF, I received news today about a fellow Captain from a close FD who just died from Occupational Cancer.
Today I ran into Scott and Christina on the trail in Yellowstone! They told me you are hosting a cruise beginning May 28. How can I find out about it and sign up?
Dang Phil, an ex Navy seaman (Commander?) force to sail a pontoon? lol..That was hard to watch. Peaceful but hard. Rangers Lead the way. Go Army ! Safe travels brother...
Awesome video so far your suggestions have been on point 👍🏽 We just left Gunter Hill and coincidentally had the same site you had We will definitely put this one on the list 😄
We stayed in Winter Park and went through Granby and Grand Lake area to Estes Park. Beautiful area. Constitution Week coming up at Grand Lake. Awesome festival and BBQ!
Looks like a nice area. Not sure the RV "resort" is for us because we tend not to use the resort stuff, but it doesn't mean I can't enjoy the area. Was Phil really in the Navy if he won't get his feet wet? OK I'll guess why you got off of the boat, beer and food. If I'm right to I win a 1,000,000 Internet points?? Keep the good stuff coming guys.
First Thank You both for your service and awareness that you both show the support for our military! We need more letting the people know men and women in service or served now need our help more than ever! Thank you for the great trips, tips and adventures. As for gadgets, I stand with him. Stay up to date on your new equipment, number one reason is safety and the many more reasons from that point.
You need to go back to the Winter Resort for the skiing in a couple of years when Phil's knee is much stronger, Don't worry I'm sure they have instructors and a Bunny hill!🤣
Kinda sad if you ever been to Granby in the 70's it was a beautiful lake in the wilderness, looks like its a big resort now.. Not my cup of tea but thanks for the video.!
Granby and Grand Lake are some of my favorite places, spent a week there in June. The resort is amazing and a gem in the industry, so glad you had a great stay!
I used to go to that lake when I was a kid, boating in the summer and snowmobile ridding in the winter with friends. They had an A Frame cabin in the area. It was very fun.
Glad to hear you enjoyed one of our favorite areas of Colorado. We have camped there many times as well as snow shoeing in the winter. In fact I did ski patrol at Winter Park for a few seasons while in residency. Love the place!
Hi looks like a great place. I'm willing to bet the cost is in excess of 100.00 a night. The cost of camping has gone insane. We find ourselves boondocking or camping in beautiful places with no amenities. Good to see Phil getting around so well and of course the skipper driving the boat.
Since you just left San Antonio, where I live, and we are experiencing the most brutal summer in modern history, I am much jelly of your opportunity to escape to Colorado. Have a great time!
Hi guys - great video. Boy that’s a great looking campground. We will definitely put it on our list of places to check out. Colorado is such a beautiful state to visit. We are anxious for the cruise too. Christina has been great to keep us all updated on what to expect. Are you going to park Ruby in New Jersey while on the cruise? If so, have you found a location to park her yet? Safe travels 😊❤️🇺🇸
Loved this resort! The mountains and the water were so beautiful! And we just reserved our spot on the cruise! Tim has been a hold out on do a cruise. So a big thank you from Nicole!!!!
Be careful using drone foot in your videos. The FAA has some restrictions on drone videos used in monetized videos. My understanding is fines can be very expensive so please do some research. Travel safe and have fun.
U.S. Navy sailors afraid to get wet? I’m surprised!!! I’m bummed I was not able to attend the muster. Looks like a fun place to stay. #USNavy #Seabees

@RVUNDERWAY just learned of you!
Fellow Navy here too!
Looking forward to checking out your thoughts etc on Military RV’ing.
Blessings!
What a beautiful area!!
Great work! Content, music, drone, top notch. Very well done. Oh great location!

Predictability and routine is something we avoid. We prefer each vid to be different and unique.

I’m still surprised none of you got your feet wet. But if my choice was getting my feet wet or getting ice-cream… ice-cream would win.
We love that campground….. we watched it being built! The Granby area is my favorite in Colorado….. so much to do! In Winter Park we love to ride the Alpine slide over and over again! Thanks for the video…. good job!🇺🇸
Do you have any RV camp recommendations out in Georgia? Perhaps Savannah??
Thanks

Amazing resort and the mountains in the background were just beautiful. Colorado is a beautiful state with so much to see and do. Thanks for sharing.
Always a pleasure to see your videos as usual. Glad to see your always supporting the military and public servants....good stuff!

Wish you would have shown the rv sites. the layout. staff. Not that great.
That is why we added the drone shots.
Oh! Snacks. I thought you were getting off because someone spotted a brewery. lol
Well I am sold that place looks amazing!!
What an incredible resort !!! Safe Travels guy's ❤️ 🤍💙

Thank you for your service for our freedom
Just came across your video today and just want to say excellent editing and very upbeat. 👍🏻

Good to see y’all back out on the road
Looks like Phil has recovered nicely

I am sorry to hear about your fellow Captain. Contact the Honor Flag. They may be able to honor him at his funeral.

That is so cool! Yes, there is a cruise. We would love to have you. Here is the link: todayissomeday.net/ymrv-cruise-2023

I live in CO and I didn't know about this. It will definitely be in my future.
Love watching y’all ! We have to get back up to Colo soon. This heat in Tx has been so bad this summer. Thanks for your great videos!
This is a resort we want to go to. Looking at 2023, we couldn’t make it this year.
Beautiful vistas- hope to get there one day. Enjoying our vistas in Maine right now.
My blood pressure lowered while watching you on the lake. Beautiful scenery! Great video!
From Colorado and never been there. It will be in our bucket list. Thank you so much for informing us on this beautiful area of Colorado.
What a beautiful place to stay with so much to do. This is on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing this amazing video.
Thanks for watching!
I love watching you videos.
It reminds me of Whisky town Lake, rented out house boat to get arround the lake, lots of good fishing and views.
Can not believe you could take a boat to Grand lake. Thats my favorite area ever. Thanks.
We did our shake-down trip at River Run!! Pretty sweet! It spoiled us but we still love the state and local parks.
Gee glad to see Phil get back into his M mode 😵💫😵💫🤣
Granby and Grand Lake are some of my favorite places, spent a week there in June. The resort is amazing and a gem in the industry, so glad you had a great stay!
Something new to add to our bucket list. Thanks guys!
We've been to that resort twice and still haven't tried all NM the activities. Glad you liked it, the boat looked like a fun outing.
I used to go to that lake when I was a kid, boating in the summer and snowmobile ridding in the winter with friends. They had an A Frame cabin in the area. It was very fun.
Absolutely beautiful I wish I could be there too, ice cream would win every time
Another great blog. Like your song I want go with you.
We all know why you got off the boat, the squid got sea suck
Just added a resort to my bucket list. Great drone shots. Thanks.
Great video
Spent last summer up near there. Need to visit . Glad Phil is doing well
Lovely video! Thanks for sharing!
Glad to hear you enjoyed one of our favorite areas of Colorado. We have camped there many times as well as snow shoeing in the winter. In fact I did ski patrol at Winter Park for a few seasons while in residency. Love the place!
Thank you for all you do for our veterans. I got a lump in my throat during this video. Keep 'em coming!
Phil’s grin when he tasted the ice cream. Like a kid. lol.
Beautiful
Amazing video and coverage of the park!! I agree 4 out of 5!
Wow! We need to add that resort to our RV bucket list 👍
Those party-barge boats are loads of fun in wide open waterways. Thanks for the show!
👍

We were there through July and we are so glad to be in cooler temps! Stay cool!
We had a real log cabin there for 15 years! Gorgeous. Now we are RVing so will go and try River Run Resort. Thanks!
Have fun!

Good Morning Janice! So glad you are cruising with us! We are leaving Ruby at a friends place during the cruise.
Looks like a great resort, so much to do
Thanks for another great post! I’m heading to South Dakota and Colorado in September. Looking forward to all the beautiful scenery!
We are in SD now for the month of August. lots to do in the Black Hill area. Do some homework. Then Colorado in September. have fun.
Loved this resort! The mountains and the water were so beautiful! And we just reserved our spot on the cruise! Tim has been a hold out on do a cruise. So a big thank you from Nicole!!!!
YAY! We are sooooooo lokoing forward to meeting everyone on the cruise!!
We are there right now and this place is great!
Be careful using drone foot in your videos. The FAA has some restrictions on drone videos used in monetized videos. My understanding is fines can be very expensive so please do some research. Travel safe and have fun.
We are all good. Phil has his license and is legal. Which is why we don’t have drone footage often. So many rules.
The real ingredient to the success of this resort is sharing it with friends ! Thank you for taking us along.
You are so right!!!
A bit confused. In your intro graphics at 0:22 it shows the name RV River Run Resort, Granby, CO. Is this actually "Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountain"?
Yes it is Sun Outdoors.
River Run is the old name
I love the music
River Run is soooo fun!
What a great time with great friends!
Love the new shirts.
Looks like an amazing park!!! Is it expensive to stay?
Its not cheap but the prices vary.
Beautiful!
