I grew up knowing him as Eggman, so when i learned what his original name was in like...middle school(?), I was all: "pffft, Robotink? What a stupid name!" (No I did not just misspell "Robotnik", that's just how I mispronounced it back then..)
if I May add that there are a few iterations of the man within the same mythos that started it all. Julian Kintobor, Ivo Robotnik aka Dr. Eggman, Metal-botnik, & NegaEgg... Then thanks to Archies comics, all the way back in 1992 made sonic get a "Multiverse" going, so really, there are pretty much an infinite # of Eggman's rolling around the place. XD
@@mrnobody_8250 The irony is that Eggman took what should've been an insult and turned it into a name everyone in the world shivering just from uttering it. And looking at the IDW series alone? It's not hard to see how he did it.

@@mrnobody_8250the Boom Eggman was being set up, but never went anywhere in any medium. TV was funny though. And he was a surprisingly good businessman, but in terms of evil, he was beaten out by the mayor and the bureaucracy
