These are good weapons but have the weakness of firing off even in small burst all the ammunition capable of being carried in a very small period and take to long to reload even with auto reloaded available and in the best conditions. The Germans found they couldn’t advance with and protect armoured columns in adequate numbers as reloading times of 10 minutes kept leaving them behind the advancing column. The Germans were looking at an ammunition trailer to be towed to have more rounds available on a belt feed system but I have not seen any development in this area and the vehicles went into storage and have now gone to Ukraine

These are good weapons but have the weakness of firing off even in small burst all the ammunition capable of being carried in a very small period and take to long to reload even with auto reloaded available and in the best conditions.
The Germans found they couldn’t advance with and protect armoured columns in adequate numbers as reloading times of 10 minutes kept leaving them behind the advancing column. The Germans were looking at an ammunition trailer to be towed to have more rounds available on a belt feed system but I have not seen any development in this area and the vehicles went into storage and have now gone to Ukraine

These are licensed copy of Oerlikon GDF. Western countries are also using this series of anti-aircraft guns currently. GDF systems are famous for their awesome Skyguard Radar.
