2022+ Harley Davidson Nightster - Switchback Seat Installation

A quick installation video for the OEM Harley Davidson Switchback seat P/N: 52000655 on the 2022+ Nightster. Mine is REV.B which doesn't have the short tether issue noted below, but the seat has an inherent design flaw which binds with the factory sissy bar slightly.

NOTE: The original switchback seat REV.A has a separate issue where the steel cable tether was too short because it was mounted in the seat from the factory in the wrong location causing it to not raise far enough to re-fuel. If you pick up this seat from a third party and they have older stock from early 2024, you may run into this issue and need a $20 kit from HD to remedy this issue.

Nice.. I was considering S&S, but it retains a bit too much of the stock leaf blower look, so I'm waiting for other options. The best is probably Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde to get the option to switch sound profiles, other than it costs a fortune..

What I put on is available and inexpensive from O’reilly. I needed to have a sound presence to save my ass around here where I live.
