Cant wait to visit Colombia
Wow Tamal Tolmense is really similar to what we have in China, chicken, sticky rice wrapped in layers lotus leaves. And we also have this for breakfast. Love this combination and the incredible steam when you open it hhhh
I'm from the U.S. but lived in Colombia, and yes, the tamal tolimense is well worth it. What is the Chinese dish called, out of curiosity?
@@charliemcpherson6299 糯米鸡(Nuo-Mi-Ji), sticky rice chicken. You can sometimes find it at the dimsum places. This is essentially a "restaurant"/vendor dish, since it's just too much labor to make them at home. // We also have Zongzi, which is sometimes referred to as the Chinese tamales, also sticky rice wrapped in leaves and steamed -- it can be either sweet (with date fillings) or a salty-savory (with meat and yolk fillings).
But also the most delicious Bogotá dish the Ajiaco! How could you have missed this?! Also Crepes & Waffles and jugo de lulo
Creeps and waffles are international food not colombian
But it still good doe
Me being born and raised in bogota I can say you forgot ajiaco and calentao
And sancocho
Dude! You ain’t lying!!! I just returned from Medellin and crapes and waffles was my McDonald’s while I was there! I mean seriously! I could get an entrée with pan plus a beer or 3 for 10 bucks. Another buck 50 and I had dessert!!
Many of us latinos have alot of similarities with food but with just a few different recipes added that makes it unique and staple of that region.
Bogota is also known for its arts, gastronomy and culture. Explore this vibrant capital and take day trips from Bogota while visiting Colombia.
I’ve never seen this before, food looks good. Perhaps you could please post prices in the future? I hope to travel to Columbia soon. Thank you.
The fact that you included an Envuelto but COMPLETELY ignored Ajiaco is just so wrong.
I tried most of these on my trip to Colombia last year and they were all delicious! Except for changua, that's definitely an acquired taste. Sadly, I didn't try the arepa boyacense. It was surprisingly tough to find.
What about the location of the restaurants?
Colombia no sólo es un país Colombia es PASIÓN desde los sabores hasta las mujeres todo y todos llevamos pasión y amor por dentro... Amo mi país 😍
so yummy, i miss my country.
You missed ajiaco the traditional dish of Bogotá WTF lol
Re upload? Fixed the audio? Nice
La mejor definición de tamal: solid chicken soup. jejejejeje Me he muerto de la risa. Saludos.
Thanks for sharing this video 🙏🏽 going to Bogotá in 2 months 🥰🙏🏽 can you please please let me know the cafe / restaurant or bakery addresses 🙏🏽🙏🏽 thank you🙏🏽
Uuuuy muy rico.
Good, but “it’s like a solid chicken soup” is an insult! 😂
Thanks for appreciating colombian food, but how many kilos have you taken??
Nice👍🏼
😋😋😋😋
the ajiaco is delicius
As someone why tries to eat healthy, I don't know what would I do in Columbia) Every dish seem to have white bread, cheese and sugar. I expected lots of fruits and vegies since it's a tropical place.
Oh Margot!😱😱😱
Could anyone give us the locations of these specific food items?
I'm Colombian and If you go to Colombia, bogota( where she is) , pretty much in any restaurant they sell this stuff, obviously it's gonna taste different, but you can find it anywhere ( except maybe for the area de choclo, they're a little bit less common ).
And when I say restaurants it could be also any bakery too. Jajaja most of this stuff ( the soups, changua, and caldo de costilla ) are sold either for breakfast or dinner.
Thank you very much. If you're a Bogotá resident, could you give me yours personal favourite?
@@georgiosbakas2087 If you walk down "La séptima" in the city center (after the Colpatria building) you can find a few bakeries/small restaurants. I'm a fan of Pasteleria La Florida (the address is Carrera 7 # 21-46) and La puerta falsa (Calle 11 #6-50)
@@Batty1977 thanks mate
@@georgiosbakas2087 Without doubt Ajiaco soup and tamal at La Puerta Falsa restaurant

Not only mexican food is varied and deliciuos of course, colombian food has also many dishes, and take into account that she's only showing food from Bogotá, do you imagine in the rest of the country?
Arepa de chocolo looks

Pog audio fixed
Прятного
Cheese in hot Chocolate???? Egg and cheese and milk soup???? NO SAH!!!!
It's *choclo* not "chocolo"
You didn't mention one restaurant. Waste of time
No me gustan las reseñas de nacionales que hacen del país, carecen de la emoción que se puede expresar por un turista real al experimentar las vivencias.
the girl with the glasses has the grossest way of eating (I'm sorry)
she needs to learn how to eat... small bites
Let the lady enjoy her food... She was so cool eating food without shame...
But I’m love with her!
It looks so bad...
That envuelto looks amazing though.
Killed me with the exagerated music, but thanks.
Hard pass on the changua
Honestly, same and I'm from Bogotá haha
@@mgabss hahah....si esa sopa no se ve muy aperitiva...prefiero el ajiaco
Samee and i'm from Bogotá i found it disgusting lmao
How can any human being eat changua??? Just looking at it made my stomach turn.
@@lerryperry I love changua....especially with a poached egg in there and some toast or an arepa.
What did Pablo Escobar eat most?
It looks gross probably because it is gross 5:24
Chocolate with sheese ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Everything was ok and then they said changua jaja thats the most disgusting soup ever so people that are not from Colombia we have better thing ignore that
🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

Colombian food is total thrash, haven't had worst food anywhere else
Carlitos Habaneros LMFAO colombian food is one of the best ones out there stfu
Is it true that the food lacks flavour?
@@Mordadigsjalv Have you tried mondongo? It's the best Colombian soup out there.
