I moved to the Philippines a decade ago and started cooking mainly to share food that I grew up with or took for granted with people here who haven't tasted a style of dish, and to get a taste from home. I discovered this channel a few weeks ago and am really enjoying it.
I love your recommendation to use what you have. When I first started cooking I used to go to the store and buy specific ingredients for the one recipe and the rest would go to waste. Now I’ve learned to use up what I have.
My step dad made this when we came to visit him and my mom. It was so delicious. There weren't any leftovers. 😋 I will put this in my breakfast rotation.

If you don't want to cook bacon, get the Sams Club bacon bits. They have more fat in them, so I don't use them on salads. But they are great for this...After you cook them a little, there's enough fat to saute everything else in it. Easier.

Great job! Since you asked what I would like in my breakfast skillet, pretty much how you made it except for the potatoes I would put in corn beef hash which already has the potatoes in it. That corn beef hash would up the flavor but that’s just me. Great job!
I actually tried the breakfast skillet Mother's day weekend. I used AB's recipe the only difference was instead of an orange pepper I had a green pepper along with the red and yellow peppers, that skillet was the BOMB my sisters truly enjoyed that Sunday morning breakfast.I have to say thanks Smokin' & Grillin' wit AB 💯

Im a certified structural welder now 17 yrs but i still lovecto cook! 3 yrs ago i became a blacksmith and knifesmith which obviously found its way into my kitchen. Now i focus on hand forgeing kitchen utensils and kitchen knifes. I combined my 2 biggest passions and i can see that passion in you! God food fam and steal. Kinda my mind set!
I do something similar but I use less bell pepper and add chopped MILD jalapeno peppers (the pickled ones in the jar so you know how hot they are) to taste. I like how you cook the eggs like this with the veg mixture, I've never tried that but I will now, Also at the end I sprinkle Adobo (in the container with the red cap) careful a little is all you need and a bit of Sazon seasoning (find both in the Hispanic section of the store) Oh man, good stuff! I keep that Trader Joe's Swiss Gruyere cheese on deck so that's definitely going into my casserole. I've always got onions --- yellow, red, scallions --- got bell peppers in various colors. Got my garlic powder. I'm coming off 'da Pig in 2020. I'ma hook this up with some smoked can salmon. Don't laugh! I'ma make it work in my household. Watch!

Im a certified structural welder now 17 yrs but i still lovecto cook! 3 yrs ago i became a blacksmith and knifesmith which obviously found its way into my kitchen. Now i focus on hand forgeing kitchen utensils and kitchen knifes. I combined my 2 biggest passions and i can see that passion in you! God food fam and steal. Kinda my mind set!

I do something similar but I use less bell pepper and add chopped MILD jalapeno peppers (the pickled ones in the jar so you know how hot they are) to taste. I like how you cook the eggs like this with the veg mixture, I've never tried that but I will now, Also at the end I sprinkle Adobo (in the container with the red cap) careful a little is all you need and a bit of Sazon seasoning (find both in the Hispanic section of the store) Oh man, good stuff! I keep that Trader Joe's Swiss Gruyere cheese on deck so that's definitely going into my casserole. I've always got onions --- yellow, red, scallions --- got bell peppers in various colors. Got my garlic powder. I'm coming off 'da Pig in 2020. I'ma hook this up with some smoked can salmon. Don't laugh! I'ma make it work in my household. Watch!
