Look man, I love the Corps, my father is one and I'm trying to become one as well and I'd never purposely insult/disrespect the Corps and simply gotten a value wrong. There was a million different ways to have responded and yet you turned a potentially teachable moment into an adversarial encounter. Be the change you want to see my friend, or else you really aren't better than the Brass chasing LT's.
I know my nation's army works closely with the US Marines, and they mutually respect each other, I have huge respect for the Marines after the stories my uncle told me about his service.

I am 13 years old, my parents keep asking me what my future career was gonna be. So I told them Marines and they immediately said no, once I'm 18 they have no saying in what a I can or cannot do. So I got a good 5 years.

my family has pretty much all served in the military and I have the same plan even though my mom disagrees with me I have plans to fight till the death and my soul leaves my body and goes to heaven, I have no fear of dying I only have a fear of my brothers in arms dying and my family dealing with my death, and me doing nothing with my life
