Meg is back and this time we’re singing a NYV arrangement. This is a slightly different key than they perform it, adapted for SSATBB. I met the NYV after their show in Toronto last year and they were delightful people and fantastic musicians! We sing it a little differently than them: a little faster, a little less vibrato. Hope you enjoy our interpretation!

It's just sound as it is needed. No unnecessary note, no acrobatic vocal, yet it doesn't lose the essence. Just like a pure sound of V12 Ferrari. It is just it is.. Beautiful ❤

I performed this arrangement when I was in college. Man, listening to this really makes me miss performing. Well done.
I think the added pauses between lines (as appose to just flowing the entire song in one breath say so to speak) added a lot more drama and excitement to the piece. great work once again Mr.Danny and cheers to Meg Contini.

Whew. I thought when you paused almost at the end... you were going to do that pain in the butt fleugel ending everybody goes for. Meg is wonderful, and your blended sound is spot-on. I am old enough to have grown up on the Hi Los so I am like, blown away by you 'young puppies' and how GOOD you are! Technology is sometimes a wonderful partner to music. The Luddites/traditionalists out there are wrong. Give the high tech harmonies of Danny Fong and company a listen. You guys are jaw droppingly gifted!!

Gorgeous. But why not let Meg sing the alto line too?
When Meg comes to record, we often don't have a lot of time, so to make it easier, I record all the parts except for the one she's doing. She often has to leave right as we're finishing the Soprano track alone, and we often only are able to find the time once every couple weeks. I like recording all the parts (including Soprano) myself; however, I think Meg does such a great job, it's worth having her sit in.
