I'm 58 years old now, health fading, and there was another shooting today. Sadness abounds. But your perfect recording is still here to help at least a little bit. Thank you Danny, and Meg. The world isn't totally horrible.
Right with you, Mr. Newton. I'm a recent widower; I think of my wife while listening to this refreshing accappela rendition. My health is fading, too, so I'll pray for both of us, if that's okay. God bless. ✝ ♡ ♡ ♡
I am always thrilled when I see young people like yourselves enjoying these beautiful "old" standards. These songs were old when I was your age which only goes to show that real beauty will never be out of style. Please keep it up.
Including the two of you, this makes about ten people I’m aware of that know The Singers Unlimited. Absolutely incredible. You can hear their influence in Take 6’s first cd. All of my best.
I've been listening to Singers Unlimited do this piece fro nearly 35 years and, I have to admit, This is as good and maybe a little better. That young lady's voice is like silk. FANTASTIC GUYS!!!!
Thanks Julien! She does have a gorgeous, soft tone.. but her voice is stunning all around! I need to get her to sing with me again on something.. louder :)
So beautiful. Have listened dozens of times, and so impressed by the tuning. Gene Puerling's arrangement is stellar, and these two make the most of it.
Wow. 3 years ago, I remember listening to your first rendition of All the Things You Are (the one where it's just you, no Meg). It was already life-changing back then, and you've come such a long way since then. The harmonies in these arrangements are incredible, you and Meg have voices of angels, so honestly it sounds like heaven. I've listened to your music all the time on my mp3 player (in fact iTunes says that Danny Fong is number 2 on my most played artists). It's given me so much happiness over the years and it will definitely continue to do so for life, especially after you achieve international fame. You are a good man, and a household name in my book!
Beautiful voices and harmony."All the Things You Are" is one of my special favorite songs. Jerome Kern`s melody combined with Oscar Hammerstein`s beautiful, poetic lyrics-sublime. Nice to see young people appreciating songs from the 20th century" Great American Songbook".Thanks for sharing with us.
I still can't believe I'm listening to young guys and girls singing the standards. Love your singing. Danny, I still never heard you sing "Small Fry", ha.
OMG! OMG! OMG! (and that is coming from a 50 year old man) :goosebumps: Seriously. I'm just sitting here with my mouth open involuntarily and tingles going up and down my spine. This is even better than your version of Nightingale in Berkley Square. I'm saving this for the next time I see ugly in the world because it will just wash it away. THANK YOU!
Thanks James! This vocal jazz seems to be my way of expressing my harmony these days. If you're continuing to enjoy my uploads, please consider supporting me on Patreon. The link is in the description. :)
Just sublime! Meg sounds here almost exactly like Bonnie Herman on the original. That silky angel voice. Fantastic and a worthy tribute to the late, great Gene Puerling!
Excellent arrangement! It's very encouraging to see young people enjoying and performing the classics of yesteryear. Great job! More of the same, please!
So pleased I found this. Sat here with my mouth open in sheer disbelief at how beautiful it is. When you see what passes for talent these days (and what passes for music) and then you find something like this it restores your faith. Someone should play this to Justin Bieber and explain, "No, Justin, THIS is music!"
Thanks a lot! This is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful 4-part arrangements ever written. Glad you enjoyed it as much as I still do every time I hear anyone sing it :)
This is so beautiful. I've listened to this everyday since it was uploaded and I love absolutely everything about it. Perfect blending, intonation, great voices and just an overall fantastic arrangement. Thank you for sharing.
Ohoooo, so beautiful!!! The amazing intonation enables such a dense harmony, yet, with a very tranquility feeling. It is probably because you have Meg Contini. A natural bass (You sing with Evan Sanders) - could make it even more tranquil. BRAVO!!!
Fantastic! Meg and Dan - you are great! Dan - if you do the "April in Paris" piece I will send you flowers from Poland :-). Thank you for spreading the great Gene Puerling's work!
charming and adorable. very nice job. I love that you say "singing casually". . . hahah. . . .there are some people (me) that live a lifetime and never accomplish something as technically good at this.
Wow THIS is beautiful! Danny, I have seen a lot of RUclips-Videos of you and you together with other guys from Accent. You have much talent and a great voice! But you have always looked like a "boy" enjoying music! You often have this kind but very brave smile on your face. Please don't misunderstand, I like smiling People but you looked like "coming home from the playground, mum gives you some cookies and a glass of milk and then you sing for her with your best-son-in-the-world-smile". That is nice, but...... Here you sing together with this talented, good-looking woman, and you sing it like a man! I like that much more! No weak best-son-in-the-world-smile, but serious and cool! May be you should continue making songs with her.....! But, whatever you do I wish you good luck!
Really amazing arrangement, I love the blend of your voices, the natural pacing... bravo! must have been fun working this out together. My partner 'n I are having much fun transcribing your brilliance... I hope you don't mind ;)
Simply Breathtaking....May I please have the sheet music to work with my acapella group? We are just starting and we were looking for some great covers to work on!
Absolutely gorgeous and flawless! Love the mix. This sounds like the early 1970s Singers Unlimited recordings on reel to reel tape with those awesome vintage microphones: like pure silk. Fantastic!
Hi Danny; I'm head over heels in love with this sound- your voice is absolutely incredible. I've been trying to get a hold of this arrangement, I was wondering if you could tell me where you bought it? Thank you so much!

I love Megs voice... I just can not stop listening to her.
Love to you both & your families. Brilliant.
those harmonies are light showers from heaven! keep on the good work.
Meg, you have the voice of a Disney Princess. Absolute perfection.
Including the two of you, this makes about ten people I’m aware of that know The Singers Unlimited. Absolutely incredible. You can hear their influence in Take 6’s first cd. All of my best.

Very nice Danny. Meg has a captivating voice. Way to go Meg....
Simply enchanting, what a lovely piece. Meg has a gorgeous soft tone, it works really well with yours Dan. What a knock-out you are Meg, mamma mia! :)
Thanks Julien! She does have a gorgeous, soft tone.. but her voice is stunning all around! I need to get her to sing with me again on something.. louder :)
Absolutely lovely cover of this amazing SU arrangement. (Go Gene!) Triple threat from Danny. Meg's voice is perfect..
Had to come back and listen to this again, just to remember what you two are capable of. :sigh: So lovely.
So beautiful. Have listened dozens of times, and so impressed by the tuning. Gene Puerling's arrangement is stellar, and these two make the most of it.
most beautiful version of all the things ever
Wow, great singing Dan and Meg! I love this tune and it's great to hear jazz from young musicians on RUclips!

This is the first arrangement I heard you sing, and I've been hooked ever since. Refreshing to hear it performed once again. And Meg is wonderful!
Just gorgeous. Meg's last note is just chillingly good. The harmony is exquisite.
Oh my god, this is simply enchanting, keep up the good work guys
Thanks! Meg is coming over tomorrow to lay down some tracks to something new :)
Danny Fong Oh gosh, I eagerly await the results
So nice to hear again the special harmony's of Unlimited Singers!! Congratulation!!!
Beyond exquisite. Please, you two: keep singing these great songs. Meg's voice has found a home in this genre.

Love your singing.
Danny, I still never heard you sing "Small Fry", ha.
Danny. That young Lady has a marvelous voice. Her tones, and pitches, are spot on. Very nice!!!!
I know! :)

+Christian Schonberger Bonnie's voice was amazing and Meg definitely does her justice.
Just shared this with my fb friends. Drives away the winter blahs. Again, a winner.

This is absolutely amazing. It's simply beautiful, you have an AMAZING ear for music, I can't wait to hear more.
Really the best piece of you!!!
The second version even better with a feminine voice.
Continue to sing for our pleasure
Laurent of France
Brava & bravo! One of my fave SU arrangements, on which you two have done a wonderful job.
I would LOVE a whole cd of hymns! You did "Love at Home" BEAUTIFULLY! My kids would actually enjoy listening to it!
Excellent arrangement! It's very encouraging to see young people enjoying and performing the classics of yesteryear. Great job! More of the same, please!
Have you bought matching socks yet? Seriously - I've sung this chart and you have MASTERED it.
So pleased I found this. Sat here with my mouth open in sheer disbelief at how beautiful it is. Great job. I really like all the Gene Puerling stuff you have been doing lately!
This takes my breath away! Thank you!!!
Wow Danny, this is by far your best work right here. And Meg, she's perfect. Love her gentle tone. Amazing job you two.
Ok Danny....you guys need to keep this team together. I can see a quarter century of music coming out of this. Please keep this going!
Wow! at 3:26 or so Meg really kind of blew me away. Just stunning!

Amazing. Your videos always inspire me to try singing myself.
Ohoooo, so beautiful!!! The amazing intonation enables such a dense harmony, yet, with a very tranquility feeling. It is probably because you have Meg Contini. A natural bass (You sing with Evan Sanders) - could make it even more tranquil. BRAVO!!!
It's amazing what some can do with a couple of vocal strings. Just a magic moment. Thanks for made me forget the everyday life for about 4 min.

My partner 'n I are having much fun transcribing your brilliance... I hope you don't mind ;)
Great Job.
Bravo !
Is this arranger still alive? He has a fantastic sensitivity to a cappella voicing in his arrangements.
Carey Coleman Sadly no. He passed away in 2008. A few weeks ago I was in Texas to hear a tribute concert to all of his arrangements!
Beautiful!!! Thank you so much Danny and Meg. Are you currently doing your masters degree in music? Humber is a good school :)
Simply Breathtaking....May I please have the sheet music to work with my acapella group? We are just starting and we were looking for some great covers to work on!
wonderful!
Just a beautiful lead S sound and nailed ATB. Why isn’t Meg signed already?
Meg is exactly where she wants to be :)
Absolutely gorgeous and flawless! Love the mix. This sounds like the early 1970s Singers Unlimited recordings on reel to reel tape with those awesome vintage microphones: like pure silk. Fantastic!
Amazing rendition!! I was waiting for a version with the E natural at the end instead of the F (at 3:35) :)
good job!
God, I can't even *find* a Gene Puerling book with this specific score... Someone has a name/reference I could buy ?
Amazing
PERFECTION
Hi Danny; I'm head over heels in love with this sound- your voice is absolutely incredible. I've been trying to get a hold of this arrangement, I was wondering if you could tell me where you bought it? Thank you so much!
