Infiniti Q50 3.7 Ebay muffler delete install and sound test.

- So I did what everybody online said not to do and bought a muffler delete for my 2015 Infiniti Q50 3.7. The install was beyond easy. It was literally 4 nuts and 6 bolts (the bolts were optional but made it easier.) No, it's not as loud as some people say. I daily drove a long tube into straight pipe 350z for years so I know loud and drone. This isn't that.

One quick observation, always have the car to rest on the towers! and slightly have the carjack holding some of the weight as backup.

Hey is this the EOS or PLM brand axle back? I see you listed both in previous comments.
I used PLM. I'm pretty sure both are the same as the company I ordered from carries both.

Do you know how much weight for these two new axle back?
I didn't weigh them but compared to that big factory muffler its almost nothing.
How's the drone in the car when you're getting in the throttle? And cruising?
Not bad at all. Highway speeds of like 80 or so I can't really tell it's not stock. Ive also got a straight piped supercharged 350z so I'm used to a REALLY loud car lol.
If you watch the video where I test the dollar tree octane booster, it had some highway driving in it.

No code or lights.
Doing this today some nuts don’t come off easy need to use grinder and cutting disc to cut them off. Nothing easy as this video shows

Does this cause the check engine light to come on?
No it does not.
Cody get a can of "Never seize" . A little will go a long way and you or your muffler shop will thank you latter.

Didn't notice any gains or losses. It still has the resonators in the mid pipe

How many lbs did you torque the nuts to?
I didn't actually torque them. I just got them as tight as I could by hand.
@@Mylifeinthepits fyi, I was able to get a little information from the guys who sold me mine. They said 50lbft. I got mine close to it with no leaks.

@@Mylifeinthepits the ones attached to the rest of the exhaust on the gasket. i can't get mine off
@narwhal9242 I couldn't get mine out either, so I just re used the old nuts on them
