- 'We stand before this country in Delhi and we question whether democracy is prevalent or not in Andhra Pradesh, where the word democracy means equitable justice. Today in the state, equitable justice is denied, and democracy stands limping. Within 45 days of the government coming into power, more than 30 people have been murdered, assaults are taking place, leading to attempted murders, and several properties have been vandalised,' says former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy during the protest.

The goon under whose rule Andhra Pradesh has seen a new low in terms of law and order has now protested in Delhi, trying to create the impression that something is happening in AP. He is talking about a murder that happened at 7:30 PM. What did he do when murders occurred in broad daylight during his regime, where the killers asked the victims to chant "Jai Jagan" to be spared? Where did his common sense go when he gave a ministry to Mr. Ramesh Jogi as a reward for attacking Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu's house? Why is he still allowing those MLCs who delivered a Dalit driver's dead body to his home and another MLC who was judged guilty of atrocities against Dalits to be his followers? Why didn't he stage a protest in Delhi when his own babai (father's younger brother) was murdered? As he is accusing the local MLA just because the accused in the Rasheed murder case was seen with the MLA's family members on one occasion, why is he forgetting that the accused in his babai's murder case was seen along with this man and his family on many occasions?
