    Rough session …appreciate the video cause we all have bad days …some days everything hits on turn or river or even on flop … and others you can catch a break … but still. Very entertaining to watch … you will turn it around 👌😊

    Agree with you that the KT bluff would be better if deeper. Definitely a punt when you're giving your opponent a million to 1 on a call. a 2x pot river jam would definitely put AJ in the blender

    TT at 12:21. Just call preflop. Or make it 70. How you went headsup, beyond me, but lol live poker. Turn bet sizing is always getting called by Ax and maybe stubborn JJ-KK (though those might fold sometimes). Also just bet 1/3rd on flop.

    KT at 13:50, fold pre flop. Also calling flop is whatever. Raising is spew. Barreling turn is spew. River is spew. People are not folding a pair on that river after calling the turn with only 160 back. Also the preflop raiser can easily have 99, JJ, QQ+, JT+. Maybe even sometimes J9s/22. Along with QT. The whole hand is spew. Start to finish.

    17:50 i thought the raise was pretty iffy. I thought a straight would still likely pay you off on a board pair River. It’s so painful to see KJ fold too since he would’ve been forced to pay you off on the River as well

    14:45 any river bet here is calling for potential loss. LP turn call says he goes nowhere. Pair of QQ/AJ/TT are not folding, as I do not see any other hands he might had, would've called turn bet.

  • @vidteacher

    Fisch, props for posting the L. In previous blogs, I have heard you talk about table image. Did you have any consideration of that in game? I know aggression typically pays off for you but I found myself thinking “not this time, bro” more than once. Did you take a walk at all? I have to work on both of these myself is the only reason I asked…

  • @jonathansykes4986
    @jonathansykes4986 Год назад +1

    Not sure what you're doing on J9s hand @ 0:35 . Preflop raise is questionable but it's whatever but the size should be around $50-60. Flop is whatever but should be betting bigger like 2/3rd+ bet size since you're not betting Tx/8x/AJ/AQ hands here and your range for value is AK/KQ and 2pair/sets. Turn is whatever. Opponent depends on the bet. If opponent never folds a king, just check back and take your free equity. Also the fact that you have a J and 9 in your hand reduces hands like AJ, QJ, 97, J9 in your opponents hands (along with hands like KJ, JT, T9, 98 that would peel one on the flop).

    • @jonathansykes4986
      @jonathansykes4986 Год назад

      Not sure what you're doing with A4s @ 2:16. Raising out of the sb with this hand with limpers already, not great. Also headsup on this flop is a mandatory c-bet. 1/3rd or 1/2 pot size bet is best. you can have so many hands here. 99, KK, KQ, AK, KJ, QJ, JT. also if you get called you have lots of turn barrel cards. T/J/Q/3/2.

  • @jonathansykes4986
    @jonathansykes4986 Год назад

    7:39 not sure why you don't think there is not a lot of 9s in 2 ppls ranges. 89, 97, K9, T9, 99. Also, do not "bluff" turn if it came a Q or an A.

    People at these stakes do not like folding any reasonable hand, even more so when they think you’re a maniac. People will also not bet their hands when they should. Instead, they will play a lot of strong hands passively hoping you will blast off all your chips. But this will allow you to see a lot of free cards and you can realize your equity cheaper or make them lose value with their big hands. That’s why the guy with KK didn’t reraise you, and the guy with AQ checked to you on the river

  • @prodigyzeusthepitbull9570

    KK at 17:40 , kinda tough but man you're making up some hands. there are only 2 combos of KQ/KThh like also maybe K9hh that didn't c/r the flop? also why would straight and flush lead the turn into 2 ppl. the call ahead of you, looks like a draw, maybe a weak J (QJ/JT).. but you're behind 16 combos of QT and you're making up combos that lead this turn for some reason.
    Also bet the flop larger. We're not barreling here that much.
