While I play small stakes, I kind of know how you felt. Thank you for sharing the painful moments. Keeps it real and reminds me that poker includes a ton of losing. The "Three lost buy-ins and you're done" rule Mike Caro put out on "rough nights" I attend to. The stakes got a bit higher at one place I played, and I had gotten one bad beat after another that night. So I just felt the pain, and after the third lost buy-in, I didn't want any more.

    I watched this one a couple times now. Really helps us nits to see how the good guys take losses. My takeaway is that when you take it on the chin, you have to keep firing. Very crazy and unexplained play is often the case in the games I play and sometimes the numbers just don’t add up right in the end. Hopefully they will next time. Just keep firing. Thanks for sharing this tough time, it helps so many of us. Can’t wait to see your next huge win.

    • @ohiomoon1813
      @ohiomoon1813 Год назад

      Crazy and unexplained play is why I consistently lose games to friends. We play micros so there's essentially no money on the line which is the only explanation but being the most disciplined and learned player at the table (I'm still not very good don't worry but I have plenty of self-education under my belt while everyone else at the table has absolutely zero) and getting killed by bs calls and plain unluckiness is awful. I can't say I felt this as the most I've lost with friends was like $30 and not $130k but I can understand this unluckiness Brad has here and the weird plays by everyone at the table. It's terrible

    Finally getting around to watching this. So obviously lots of folks are going to say "variance is real", and when it finally hits in the opposite direction after such an amazing 2022, it's hard to complain.... what I want to say though is a big thank you for describing the feeling of helplessness... I similarly experienced a painful trip at the felt this last time I was out in Vegas and had the same thoughts almost verbatim "no matter what I do, and not for lack of trying, I can't seem to win, can't seem to hit the cards/hands I need, and my opponents all seem to be doing just that... plus it's such a great table and I can TOTALLY take these guys, but it's just not happening." For whatever it's worth, it feels comforting to know that this kind of stuff can happen to anyone. Thanks, Brad. We'll both get 'em next time!

    You have a ton of support Brad. It’s not about taking a hit, it’s about how you can take hits and keep moving forward. Keep it up.

    BRUTAL Session. Not only card dead, but worse card coolered by the nuts when you finally get a hand. Great composure. Keep your chin up.

    That was brutal Brad. Sometimes when you run that bad, it is best to not really get involved and let some good hands go. Your face showed that you were not enjoying yourself and when that occurs it's best to sit out and save some chips for the next session. Great content but I think we all can feel your pain.

    You are solely the greatest inspiration that I've ever had to one day become a Poker Vlogger just like you Brad and I have lost at least comparable amounts of money to what I just witnessed in this video so hear me when I say that I FELT that loss in my heart, and in my soul, I wish you all of my Run-Good until I need it back when I come to run the tables with you one day, God-willing it'll be soon. In the meantime, Please keep up the amazing work and know that I'm rooting for you with every upload, and every stream that I can catch, Good luck my Hero 💜💜💜
