Ability to name chests, map markersl (added in a marker once for a underground mine of a particular resource) and when I went back i was like 'wtf did i put a marker here for?'
Said it on another video, but It's in the lore that the terrestrial water has turned to lava during the transformation of the world from the elixir influence. In some locations you can see boats on lava streams. However wells become the work around of not including the need to code water in the game but have it exist as a resource. My personal change request would be arrow cost and transmogs.
lava or 'lava' as in dense shroud corruption of red color that looks reminiscent of lava but is not actual lava even if from a hp perspective it functions similarly
Yeah, there's whole stretches of water, it's just all choked with dense shroud spores and utterly lethal. All linked in to the story of what the shroud is. I guess there's scope for underground rivers and pools that aren't infected though, given that water from wells is a thing.
Enshrouded feels like the perfect foundation to create one of the greatest games ever made. In the same way No mans sky had a great engine and world foundation. I can forsee enshrouded selling millions of copys every time they do a major content update if they listen to the community like no mans sky did. Stuff like wandering bosses seems obvious for combat. Optional base raids and an overhaul of the skills to be effected by how much you use them like in skyrim and we know the gaming community loves this system because of just how universally loved it was in cyberpunks 2.0 update. The devs are clearly competent, clearly listening, and seem to be expedient with updates. This time next year should hold quite an experience.
I'd like the NPCs to do more. Like use the furniture/beds, sit in chairs, roam around your Home base performing task based on their skills (black smith, farming, alchemist, etc.) I'd also like to be able to take one of the NPCs exploring with you to help in combat and to use for extra storage.
I think it would be great if there was an end game dungeon system that is just extremely hard to beat and scales with the # of players that enter it. There could be a few different sets of them that drop specific end game gear (chance to get it). You have to farm multiple dungeons to get the best stuff, and even if you get them all they dungeons would still be a challenge to complete. This would keep the end game alive, at least for my group of friends.
A game like this PVP just won't work. Every single game I've ever enjoyed has been ruined by pvp because of a little thing called 'Balance'. Balance ruins pve games. Just remember, you won't read on any forum ever that a 'boss' or a mob is complaining about how much damage my mage does, or maybe how much health my pots give me. To each their own, I personally don't want it to even be an option. @@danielramin6734
These Devs rock! I love how theyre listening to the community for ideas, and theyre all such cool ideas that would really bring the game beyond S tier in my opinion
I like the water idea but, from reading the lore it seems like water was removed by the Shroud itself and became almost a commodity. So it seemed to me as I was reading that the only water that survived was deep in the ground making the need for wells a must. Maybe I misread it but that is why I figured there was no water or rain in the game, because the Shroud was stopping it.

Wolf attack, spider attack or animals attack in general lead by Alpha. Spider queen, pack leader, Elders etc.
I dont need full rivers or waterfalls. I understand the technical challenge of it. I do want to at least have some static features such as fountains or prefab ponds or something. I also want a way to clear some of the smaller shroud patches. The base location the main quest gives you is where a lot of people are set up, but at max base size, you lose a large chunk to the nearby shroud.

I play Conan Exiles sometimes and I keep trying to climb up stuff in Enshrouded. The main thing though is glamour or transmog as people call it. Also like more/better character customization and hide helmets.
One thing ANY game needs, and I'm shocked this isn't mandatory, is a dev-made wiki. Leaving us hanging to figure sh!t out on our own in-game is fine, but we need a wiki for offline. I have a list: -More enemies in empty areas. More wolves, more random roaming encounters. -Enemies should drop weapons way more often. -Cooking needs to be redone: too easy to get food poisoning. -Fast travel to co-op partner. -Map ping for co-op. -WAY more map icons AND notes for user-made waypoints. -Transmog. -Dyes for armor. -Roads should show on map (at least the ones you've travelled). -Too mountainous/need more mountain passes/tunnels. -Glider steering on mouse, not just keyboard. -Longer character names! -Map pin sharing (cartography table?). -Map quadrants (A-Z, 1-26). -What is the difference between damage and power on item card for bows? -Practice targets shouldn't be destructible. 4:50 Although Water surfaces i imagine couldnt be implemented in EA due to engine limitations and thus the need to Lore it out , i personally wouldnt even put water areas altogether just to add in the anxiety of finding Water resources , i had to Mark water locations before i was able to construct my first well , it just adds to the urgency of exploring the world
While some of these features I agree with, one of the big things is more gadgets and key tools to progress the game further in unique and interesting ways. I see this game more "Zelda like" and getting things like magical gloves that improve strength to lift heavy objects (to move heavy seals to caves or buildings that hide valuables) or running boots to give a massive short sprint could be fun (just examples of ideas). Some make sense for the world of enshrouded but I really don't want this game turning more into our traditional survival style game. Though I will never turn down more options in the way we play enshrouded. Even long term puzzles like finding specific keys to unlock a secret area which is a huge special dungeon with much harder enemies, massive puzzles that are much more difficult and has unique rewards, this game is fully setup to do. We have the smaller dungeons that do that, but I want some "long term goals" and I want the end result to match the effort.
Make NPCS actually useful, make the farmer actually farm, the hunter do some hunting, etc. Doesnt even need to be animated, it just sucks to grind a farm or twigs when i could be exploring and killing stuff in the end game.
I can't believe single button loot all for harvested resources didn't make the top 10. Having to spam E every time I chop down a tree or crush a rock is driving me crazy.
If Minecraft and Fable had a baby, early access with a few short comings and flaws, yet still the best game i have played in many many years, just dont put too much fast travel in it, its already on the limit
Resource proximity crafting in a base should be a staple in most survival games, imo. After having experienced a small version in Terraria, then a huge version in one of Ark's biggest mods (S+), it's so hard to go back to the laborious before times.
Finishing Palworld and then coming to Enshrouded was such a big shock..not having crafting pulling from chests is such a pain in the arse. Just let me dump everything into chests and craft without having to remember which chest i threw the mats into >
More weapon types, ability to coat weapons with ointments for elemental damage/poison, improve passive tree with more interesting points (% increased damage is too generic), ability to remove death marker from map, increased capacity chests.
my personal list: -Labels on altars, mapmarkers and chests, so you can name them, whatever purpose they have. I would like to give the village i build a name or just call the altar i build miningoutpost so i know that is the place where i can mine some ore. Also i like to label my chests, not only in multiplayer. - usable furniture, so you can sit on the throne or bench you build or just chill in your bathtub. Just for RPG it would be nice to be able to use the toilet. - baseinventory in workstations: it needs only one button in the workstation menu, if you press it, it adds all items to make the given recipe once, as long as there is enough of it in the players inventory or magical chests. you can press it multple times to make the production chain longer.
I think there is water- the red lava looking stuff in some of the caves is, maybe, enshrouded water. It just looks different because it's, well, water, not air, and it's closer to the shroud roots.
I would like to see if we can use the "alt" button as free look button like more other survival games. It would be better to spot objects when running or flying to a direction.
i also think the beast master skill tree would benefit from tamable animals i was super disappointed that i couldn't get a wolf companion when i got the game
Base raids would be dope. The only game I've played that had something like that was Fallout 76. When you take a workshop you had to build up defenses, would get attacked at random, and you'd have to fast travel back and defend. I liked it.
I personally think Night based Monster would be cool. I know the Shroud Guys come out and venture around but I think it would make the night more interesting and add a touch of fear. Yeah I am glaring at Minecraft in a way on this idea. I feel also that more threats wandering around would be nice. It would add a level of tension as well plus add a reason to setup Fences and/or Walls around your base for defense purposes. Even adding like Spiked traps and other contraptions would be cool too. Just some food for thought. 😊
I like the idea of life skill based perks. Ive really enjoyed that in games like New Life. Even minor unlockable perks(bonus resources if your mining is above a certain amount), or things like bonus strength from swining a pick. Bonus endurance from swinging an axe. Makes sense, and provides a little something something for people who enjoy crafting/farming. I also like the idea of farm animals. It is a literal nightmare to keep a stock of feathers for late game arrows, and you can easily go through an hour worth of feather farming in minutes clearing an elixir well..... There is a perk that literally makes you fire off 3 arrows at a time, and you BURN through arrows with the 0.6Sec imperial shortbow legendary. Another add on that would be easy for them to add would be XP for farming or woodcutting. Theres XP for mining certain materials, but nothing for woodcutting or farming that i could tell.
The feature I'd love to see is an enchanting system with unique appearances based on the enchant used, I would love to be able to go out into the world find a non-enchanted version of the ice blade and the cool glow effect it has and enchant it so it has both ice and shock with electricity sparking off it like the shock wands do along side the swords normal glow.
Jesus the game isn’t even two weeks old and already people need more? I’ve barely scratched the surface, how the hell have so many people cleared all the content already?
I did it in 65 hours but i focused on main quests, should of done the small blue ones first as at max level their rewards are pointless. You only get a small portion of the map as well.
water being added would be great, but it missing due to lore. the shroud turned the entire ocean into mycelium. so, it might be added later as a story progression. once you've taken out all the shroud roots in a zone, all the oceans come back, maybe.
There's just one issue with your concept of Base Raids - player characters are the only creatures capable of surviving in the shroud, so NPCs being dragged away by shroud-spawn would mean instant death for them. Those elexir addicted humans however could be a better option as raid enemies
one of the biggest reasons i like enshrouded is that the base is free from monsters. i think it could be cool yeah but i think random events at base should de opsional
I personally think they should redo the assassin skill tree cause right now its basically just an extension of the ranger tree, give the game some daggers (or other assassin fitting weapons), make the sneak mechanic more usable which would enable a stealthy type of playstyle. Secondly, and I might be alone on this, but it really dissatisfies me that stun mechanics (specially from the assassin and trickster skilltrees) actually dont do anything to fill up an enemys stun bar. This feels really annoying since you cant combine any stun mechanic other than parrying (and attacking while the enemy is blocking) to trigger the merciless attack. Not only would this enable a ton more combos and playstyle options but it would make the combat revolving around cc (and using the merciless attack) so much more fluent. Some time I parry an attack and have to wait 5 seconds just so the enemy attacks again so I can parry again and finally use my merciless attack.
Difficulty options would be nr one for me. I like the exploration and the base building, but I am to old and slow for the harder combats and for the super mario jump-climb-swing in the towers :D
I love the idea of the base defence where they steal an npc but why not the flame itself defend the base from the enemies stealing the altar flame If they get it it reduces the base abilities for a duration as the base is getting rekindled
A massive QoL mechanic would be a fill stack option without having to open EACH AND EVERY CHEST! Get back to base and open one chest or from inventory fill stacks based off how I sorted my chest if there is free space. P.S. signs or nameable chests would be nice too 😂
Re-balance of melee could be nice. Currently being outdamaged and outsurvived by a mage character while going full melee/tank feels unfair. Ranger and mage builds are quite viable with magic clearly being a superior way to go. So adding at least some tweaks (especially for dual-handed builds) could be refreshing as melee is the most dangerous way to play without a proper reward aside from minor crowd control and AOE damage
3 things I'd like to see is 1) what time it is 2) get 2 twigs instead of 1 or lower the cost needed to make arrows. 3) choose when to proform multi shot. I dont want to waste 3 arrows into something i can kill with 1.
i love the "what time it is" and i assume you mean in enshrouded world but i need a clock that tells me real time cause i sometimes check the time and its 2 hours after midnight x) damn game i havent slept well since the day i bought it :D
Base defence would be a welcome addition. That's the one thing valheim sorely lacked imho. You're building a massive base with walls for what? There were raids but they were few and far in between. A monster horde would be a great feature. Like maybe, they can repurpose the ancient spires into a defence building where you have to defend the flame at the top of the spire. Success would net you rewards. Failure to defend would mean the spire becomes unavailable for fast travel, and it becomes a fortress for the enemy faction that conquered it. Just my 2 cents.
serverside quest progression is the best!!! Why is that the most requested to be changed? The amount of shit in every game when friends play but need to redo the quest to help someone progress faster is just hell.
Water...I get the feeling that the Shroud is using the water as a vehicle to spread out over the world, which is why its missing on the surface, and only available through a well .
Armoring or weapon smithing, getting a bonus of 1 or 2. Or an extra 5% towards something would be cool. Sure restarting the server to farm chests is great and all 😅 Also water!! Making vool water features around my base, lets gooo! ❤ Flagged PvP!! 😁
Can't help but to LMAO for the simple fact that some of these requested features currently exist in Valheim. The devs needs to consider allowing personal text to be added to map makers.
The biggest thing I want to see added to the game is being able to pause the game when playing single player. Second would probably be to change weapon skins once unlocked.
Love the farming mod for Valheim you can make big grids to make farming easy, so I pick that. Also ability to name your chests so you know what goes where...like Valheim lets you name chests.
If they implement the base raid system I'm going to buy this gem of a game well I'm still going to buy it anyway lol Palworld devs and Enshrouded devs all deserve the support
I was thinking the next expansion would be a huge GATE/Portal that will take you and your friends to the next region/place. I wish it would be huge land meats the Sea so we can have a sea adventure like Valheim but way better. That would be amazing.
I think they were smart for not adding water. Water is buggy as hell. I mean your not allowed to drop anything only put it in a chest or delete or salvage, probably to stop someone using a dupe glitch or crash the game dropping 1000 things on the ground
My biggest concern is the building system is so good however the base feels so empty. In ark you have dinos, in palworld you can make pals work for you but in this game you build your base but it feels just empty. I don’t want to play online bc of the hackers and yes with friends it is funnier however this does not change the fact that the base is without life. You also have no raids enemies that try to destroy your base. The 5 workers do not move at all they just stand there at their place.
I dont get #7 kiln etc. why would you want those tables to pull from your resources? What if you want wood to build but its all been turned to charcoal? Unless they changed the table and let you set a certain amount of charcoal or whatever. I guess that could work.
Of all of these Water is the least likely to come- the engine makes it a challenge and the in game lore is that all water has been corrupted into the burning lava like mycelium
My opinion on these suggestions: Mostly not well thought trough I don't need rain for anything. It's only dropping the framerate and I don't see any sence in staying inside and "listening to the rain". It already hard to see in the shroud - rain would be only forcing to wait without any sence. Raids on the base makes no sence, because I'm only in the base to store, craft and get the regeneration buff. Livestock ... there are hundreds of animals to kill while adventuring. Life skill progression - there is already a different progression in the game - you choose your skill points. The people who ask for flowing water haven't read what the story of the game tells ...

My head canon assumed that water that came in contact with the shroud turned into lava.
That's basically the in-game canon too.
I would like to see if we can use the "alt" button as free look button like more other survival games. It would be better to spot objects when running or flying to a direction.
i also think the beast master skill tree would benefit from tamable animals i was super disappointed that i couldn't get a wolf companion when i got the game
I just started and looked at that line but what exactly does that skill line do?
Weather would be essential and guessing easily applicable
We need a fairy that light up the night or npc that follow you around
There is... Water aura
Base raids would be dope. The only game I've played that had something like that was Fallout 76. When you take a workshop you had to build up defenses, would get attacked at random, and you'd have to fast travel back and defend. I liked it.
Conan Exiles has the bigger raid base system that i am aware of
Ahhh did you play that on launch day also it was a disaster.
@@grimsgraveyard3598I did play on launch and it was horrendous. It got better, but never recovered. Enshrouded building is 100x better.
This game needs something like a "Farm Grid" and maybe Cultivator to plant seed faster.
When pressing T to sort inventory, it should sort arrows in crescent damage order, so when scrolling to choose them would make more sense.
You can sort inventory. My gawd I couldn’t figure it out for the life of me.
@@uncensored1948 😅
I personally think Night based Monster would be cool. I know the Shroud Guys come out and venture around but I think it would make the night more interesting and add a touch of fear. Yeah I am glaring at Minecraft in a way on this idea. I feel also that more threats wandering around would be nice. It would add a level of tension as well plus add a reason to setup Fences and/or Walls around your base for defense purposes. Even adding like Spiked traps and other contraptions would be cool too. Just some food for thought. 😊
block planting is something I would like to see planting each individual plant is painfully time consuming
I want labels for Boxes, map markers and signs. I miss this from other games.
Def need labels.
Two things I would like to the most would be an In-Game Chat and Armor Display.
Auto walk is something major that needs to be included in the game.
na u fly everywhere
Workshop not crafting from storage and no dual wield are one of those things where you wonder if devs even played their game.
You can craft from storage with the magic chests. You unlock them within a few hours of playtime.
Dual wielding would be super fun though!
Did you play the game? Magic chests bro
It's not that bad
water being added would be great, but it missing due to lore. the shroud turned the entire ocean into mycelium. so, it might be added later as a story progression. once you've taken out all the shroud roots in a zone, all the oceans come back, maybe.
There's just one issue with your concept of Base Raids - player characters are the only creatures capable of surviving in the shroud, so NPCs being dragged away by shroud-spawn would mean instant death for them. Those elexir addicted humans however could be a better option as raid enemies
They can definitely use a building camera as well. Sometimes it is just a pain to play something with the obstruction of your character.
one of the biggest reasons i like enshrouded is that the base is free from monsters. i think it could be cool yeah but i think random events at base should de opsional
Some time I parry an attack and have to wait 5 seconds just so the enemy attacks again so I can parry again and finally use my merciless attack.
skill tree progression for mining, chopping, water, animals, pets, irrigation, farming, weather... sounds like you are describing icarus !
Beast master needs to be able to tame and summon the wild animals or vukah its definitely not in depth enough.
I need atleast 10k people to upvote armor stands and weapon display cases on walls
That are the things I would like to vote for. Please let me know what I have to type into the seachbox, that I can upvote your idea.
@gundleyG I forgot how its up there honestly I did it like day one lol
exactly.... these devs need to take notes from skyrim modders.
Difficulty options would be nr one for me. I like the exploration and the base building, but I am to old and slow for the harder combats and for the super mario jump-climb-swing in the towers :D
Can't tell you how many time I died falling 5 feet they gotta fix that for a game with so much verticality.
I agree it can be really annoying and frustrating
I love the idea of the base defence where they steal an npc but why not the flame itself defend the base from the enemies stealing the altar flame If they get it it reduces the base abilities for a duration as the base is getting rekindled
Would love to see NPC’s living and breathing within the world, besides the one you summon you just stand there.
I would really want to see more NPC villagers who would inhabit all the houses I build or even friendly NPC camps and towns around the game world.
3 things I'd like to see is
1) what time it is
2) get 2 twigs instead of 1 or lower the cost needed to make arrows.
Yes i got fed up playing hunter just because you have to keep making arrows and lots get wasted because of muilti shot
As much as I love his game... for me.. it was the lack of viable and cool looking armor that disappointed me the most.
Minimum level requirement for the items so level 1s cant go get a level 25 legendary 10 min into the game with ghost glider
Water...I get the feeling that the Shroud is using the water as a vehicle to spread out over the world, which is why its missing on the surface, and only available through a well .
Armoring or weapon smithing, getting a bonus of 1 or 2. Or an extra 5% towards something would be cool.
Sure restarting the server to farm chests is great and all 😅
Also water!! Making vool water features around my base, lets gooo! ❤
Flagged PvP!! 😁
oh i would love a legendary weapon/tool once you max out your stats. Like wand fighting, staff, picx and so on
Awesome game so far. Had endless avenues the devs can take. Having a blast
A reminder, this is a co-op. Not a multiplayer. So it's not as off on quest completion as people are thinking.
TRANSMOG!
I'm surprised no one talked about keeping the damn hot bar clear...
If they implement the base raid system I'm going to buy this gem of a game well I'm still going to buy it anyway lol Palworld devs and Enshrouded devs all deserve the support
a weather system, offline crafting, a better marker system, more enemytypes, better combat
i would like mounts bit of a chore walking everywhere
I was thinking the next expansion would be a huge GATE/Portal that will take you and your friends to the next region/place. I wish it would be huge land meats the Sea so we can have a sea adventure like Valheim but way better. That would be amazing.
I hope they can figure out how to add water.
On the plus side, I feel the urge to swim and drink water even more since playing Enshrouded.
I know its but i need a basass spider boss
No. Please make weather optional. I HATE rain in these games that just reduces visibility and possibly debuffs you.
The deadly fog always comes after a rain...
Feature 9, I wish I could extend the day and night cycle.
I dont get #7 kiln etc. why would you want those tables to pull from your resources? What if you want wood to build but its all been turned to charcoal? Unless they changed the table and let you set a certain amount of charcoal or whatever. I guess that could work.
4:25 Ya'll need to play the game. The lack of water is explained. Follow the quests until you get to the dam.
Water.. I actually wanted a swimming pool in my base
Of all of these Water is the least likely to come- the engine makes it a challenge and the in game lore is that all water has been corrupted into the burning lava like mycelium
My opinion on these suggestions: Mostly not well thought trough
I don't need rain for anything.
