    It is about him being curious to find out how his daughter will "think about things" when she's grown up. For now though she is a baby so he needs to patiently wait for some years.

      RosB1988. You sum it up nicely. Great idea, when people hear "baby" often they think about pop rock cliche, but not here with Dadi and Gagnamagnid. Great fun, krútt, cute.

    I hope they manage to bring the "nerdy-homely" atmosphere of the video onto the stage in Rotterdam. The video is so funny and has become quite popular in Germany even before Daði og Gagnamagnið qualified for the final.

    They are called in a straight translation Daði (Dathi) and the gigabyte. They are awesome peeps with such great nerdy humour singing about Daði's child. They told everyone to vote from the heart and we all did. Go! Daði og gagnamagnið! GO ICELAND!!

      Gagnamagn means Data amount directly translated or amount of data, it can be a megabyte, terabyte or gigabyte. we call gigabyte just gígabæt, said the same way just with icelandic characters

    this proves that countries need to take risks to do well just like last year Iceland has brought somthing out of the box and diffrent look is it my winner : no but i think that it will get A LOT of televotes and the juries will get ths because its a diffrent genre instead of generic pop songs and thats why this will stand out so good job Iceland and please continue this trend of sending somthing diffrent because your time to win eurovision is coming soon , goodluck Iceland from The Netherlands .

    The song is about his daughter and even he didnt saw her yet (outdated now :D ), he wants to know what she will think about things and live... the backup singers are actually his wife and his sister (so basically family band) :D and they are trying to go for whole "game" characters, like old videogames

    The pictures on the sweaters and backgrounds are pixelated images of the people in the band .... so each one is wearing a picture of themselves ❤️

    DAW-thee o* KA*-nah-Mock-nith
    Th as in "that" (not "thin");
    The G/K sound is in-between an English G and K - unvoiced like a K, but unaspirated like a G.
    * is like an "H" in the back of the mouth, due to a constricted throat.
    "Gagnamagnið": Gögn = data; magn = quantity; -ið = the; Lit: "the data quantity", but more figuratively, it's like "The Data Usage" / "The Data Limits", like on your cell phone plan :)
    While others have pointed out, the song is wondering what his infant daughter will think about things in the future. What the bad is about... they're just adorkable. Friends and relatives nerding out together. Real Napoleon Dynamite vibe :)
