It won the Eurovision vote here in Norway. To me the song the song has this retro 80s quality and sound to it and the chorus is really strong and the dance is funny simple and naive thats smart because then the dance becomes like signature of the song. It's easy for people to dance to it. That brass section gives the song almost like a jazzy quality to it. And daudi has a nice a nice jazz soul tone in voice he almost sound like alison moyet a female alt voice.I think could have had good chances winning to:).😊

I just have to say I chuckled a little when I read "daudi" because daudi/dauði means death in Icelandic hahaha.. but its actually Dadi/Daði :) (not a shot, just an observation of something that made me laugh a little bit and thought I'd share the smiles ;) )

And every country will decide if they send the same artist with a different song to ESC 2021, and unfortunately Iceland won't send the same artist. Some fan favorites are definitely Lithuania, Russia, Switzerland, Malta and Bulgaria And some of my personal favorites are Norway, The Netherlands, Latvia and Ukraine! 😊
You should really watch the „documentary“ on Dadi. It‘s just amazing how down to earth those people are and it makes you want to root for them even more. They are so easy to love.
PLEASE check out the acoustic version of Switzerland's song Répondez-moi. The best vocals of this years' contest. They don't have a national final, so the acoustic version is the only live version, as far as I'm aware.
