Hi mike im new to trying to fix chassis as my friend has given me a arcade machine track n field cabinet but the monitor stopped working when i power up the machine it starts smoking around the yoke been search online for answers but no joy any kind of help would be most appreciated many thanks from the uk
Hmm. Something is shorted or not connected correctly. Gonna have to hunt it down. Check the big white ceramic resistors behind the flyback for opens/out of tolerance.

Starts smoking around the neck? Without knowing what chassis you have, I cannot say.

Also friend tryed fixing the flyback then smoked so brought nee flyback still smokes tyvm once again
