Im a truck driver and sometimes when things are near by like 4-5 miles food wise or Walmart. I have to pay for Uber 10+ plus tips. Definitely looking into this and seems right size like an actual skate board . I do have a small place inside my semi truck but definitely I can manage to store it better compare to a scooter . Plus I used to skateboard back then still do when I have I time when I’m in my home time and I so hope it’s the same size as my skateboard and take it to places and not struggle carrying around while shopping or dining in at places .

The biggest cons against the OW are the batteries can’t be swapped or brought on a plane, and the pricing. Oh and Future Motion is a terrible company.
The closest competitors in terms of shortboard would be the Tynee Mini 2, it has a less customization features and no app but at least it has a better battery, power & range

IF I were considering getting another board (ie. in addition to the Backfire G2 Black, and Ownboard Zeus "pre-Pro" (OG Zeus w/OG hangers...but, w/ Zeus Pro plates, motor mounts, and hardware, plus factory-installed Zeus Pro ESC)), this NASA Edition would have been a must-have (even at the higher price). Unfortunately, due to recent knee surgery (medial meniscus tear), my skateboarding (and, possibly, bicycle riding) days are over, and I'm looking to sell the G2 Black & Zeus. Hoping I can still ride my motorcycle, although I haven't (yet) tried to see if I'm still able to get my right leg (same side surgery was on) over the bike.

I have wanted a wave for awhile now so I bought the Wave NASA, I wonder what number I got. I love the look of the cnc trucks and edge light, it pushed me over the edge to buy. I can't help but think the edge light will be standard in the next rev of the board. I wish the NASA came with their latest remote that the flex pro has but we can't have everything.

@@andrewkavanaugh3063 Seems like a very niche product that would be awesome for very few people. Ideally you would ride it like a short downhill board, but it doesn’t get marketed that way. Instead it’s marketed like a short cruiser, which it totally isn’t with that drop and lack of kicktail.
My first phantom was stolen, so i bought another one. My second Phantom was not the same as my first Phantom (it came with many upgrades), so i highly doubt the "same board" that DK tried years ago, from a different company, is the same as the Phantom from Miles. DK should just say he hasn't tried the Phantom so that he is not misrepresenting a board he has not tried

I am really struggling to decide between the exway wave and the tynee mini 2. Please, will someone tell me what to do? I am commuting around my college town and want something that's good quality.
I don't know... The exway wave has more features and is built really well, but the tynee is a hugely better value. Like no competition. The wave is massively overpriced compared to other boards. For the price of the cheapest wave you could get a max spec tynee mini 2. For my money its the mini 2.
I just bought the tynee mini 2 earlier today because of the reason you gave. Also, I've been hearing that the exway has had some software glitches causing sudden breaking and injuries.
I hope this ships to Canada. I wasn’t able to get the Atlas Pro originally but then Exway released in Canada shortly after. This board is amazing, I want to try with the hydro wheels also.

@@WatchDoggyDog I have 1k km on the clock and still going strong. There are plenty of hills where I live and the Phantom eats em all up no bother. I get 40-50 k per charge but never go above 35kph... Don't regret the purchase, got the bundle with the Miles bag (which is really well built) and the shredlights. Did you get in touch with Miles customer care? They were very good when I enquired about squeaky wheels
I have a Direct drive miles Sex Panther thats gone almost 2000 miles. I love it and miles being in San Diego is so convenient they are really top notch with customer service. The phantom looks great too
My biggest problem with short boards are the lack of power, screw distance you can just get more batteries but I wanna rip down a street and explode when I hit one of the many shitty pot holes in my shitty town, that being said I got one.
I was about to buy one, but shipping for the Nasa edition to europe is 250 bucks extra, while it is only 35 for the normal edition... :c for that money i could just get a secod battery, so that probably isnt worth it... But i really wanted those milled trucks with a number and the beautiful deck... Sadly im not made of gold :(
That design 🤌. Great video. Super comprehensive as usual and pretty short and got everything it needs 👌. Pity they don't make a bigger battery as another extra option. Tynee now also does a 99Wh travel battery for the Mini, Mini 2 short boards as well as other boards in their range. The large range on the Mini 2 363Wh 50.4V battery means a battery change will rarely be required in route . It’s more than twice the 180Wh battery on the wave and Molicel batteries in the Tynee Mini are top quality. It’s worth noting that purchasing the 99Wh battery also considerably reduces the weight of the Tynee Mini making it comparable to the wave without a quick swop battery system. It could be argued that a quick swop battery enclosure reduces durability, or it certainly did on the original wave, with some evidence on RUclips reviews. I have not personally used the wave but I am sold on the power, range and quality of the Tynee Mini 2, because of the short board size I personally don’t find carrying the Mini 2 a problem even with the larger battery. The Tynee Mini 2 also has a built in rear light which includes a break light. I do prefer short boards with a kick tail for carving and navigating built up areas.

The stock battery can't be taken on planes. The optional 99Wh battery (separate purchase) is allowed for any airline.

105mm Cloudwheels fit well so I believe the 100mm Hydro wheels should fit well also.
