Shoe on the other foot for once. RHD normally hates fancy manifolds and engine swaps when RWD due to the steering column being in the way. Nobody K swaps MX5s over here or puts fancy headers on BMWs etc :(

My dads got a built gti with the typhoon turbo from EQT. The car makes slightly under 700hp. For a little 3000lb FWD car it MOVES. Just no traction in 1st to 3rd gear lmao. Crazy fun car for roll racing.

It is not the fastest golf r in the world the fastest one is in Australia by Galano engineering and just did a 8 second quarter mile just a week ago with normal transmission look it up also with less horsepower than that one
I've never seen more than 10-12% increase in hp when going from 100oct to E85 or even E100... So id say 600on petrol is pretty darn safe if it does 8-10 on e85

The one thing I hated about my MK7 R but love about my new Meg RS IV, it's playful, even though it's fwd and has less power (340hp 440nm stage 1 tuned, compared to my golf's 400hp 490nm stage 2), the driving experience is completley on another level. This power is ridiclous but seems to give a little more playfulness and fun, which is what I was missing when I owned one, it's just crazy that it takes 800+ hp and slight mods to Haldex to do that. Crazy car!
@@alexandruturza7131 Track times speak for themselves though (compared to cupra), the Renault is better in the corners despite it's inferior power plant and is a far more driver focused and better handling car which is what I was looking for, power 0-60 and 60-120 times come second for me, as where I live I can't use the power I already have most the time. If you ever get the chance to drive one you 100% should. And on the new one with the 4 wheel steer the rear end gets happy when pushing it. GTI clubsport is faster yes but alot more money also than what I payed for my MK4 RS and I've driven one, they're not as much fun. I also prefer the way the RS looks and it's more of a unicorn.

Pushing the dq250 so far is crazy but the dq500 is always inevitable
Dq 500 i think has torque limiters at 600nm
guys on this dsg´s you have plenty upgrade options to handle almost 1200NM
Galano is Australia ran into the 8s on the DQ250 so can be done
Why not the DQ381? That's what HPA Motorsports uses for their 2.5L VR6 set up

The EA888 engine is much better than the 1.8 L Renault engine
