Made me cry and even more tears of joy when the doggo came out 🐕 Great Movie!
I was surprised how good this movie actually was. And unlike what some are saying, the dubbing wasn’t that bad. Had me hooked til the end.

Such comments are usually those of people who speak no languages other than the one they grew up with and therefore have no knowledge of linguistics and that sentence construction and word order varies from one language to another .
I say this as a native English speaker who speaks German , French and Italian , plus Latin , and just a few words of other European languages ; I also tried to learn Russian back around the late 1980s , but struggled so much with the cyrillic alphabet that I eventually gave up , despite getting on OK phonetically with it , I just couldn't read or write it ; and that was despite knowing a few words of Greek from the time I dated a Greek girl for a year - greek uses many of the characters that we use only in mathematics .
Although I majored in the sciences , I always found linguistics a fascinating subject , particularly in the way that certain words and phrases evolve from one tongue to another .
I thought the dubbing was very well executed , and this comes from someone who watches a lot of german language content with English subtitles which very often are just plain wrong and do not represent what is being said in the dialogue ( I watch foreign language films to keep up with the languages ) .
@@derekheeps1244 Or you could actually pay attention and notice this is not about the language but about the voice actors not sounding anything like the characters
One of the many joys of this film was being taken on a roller-coaster of suspense, drama, through a movie I knew nothing about, involving a backdrop I know little about, the Metro in Moscow, and finding myself involved in the characters and the situation. The unstated heroics of workers from the start of the film, the doctor operating in a public hospital through a 12 hour overnight shift, to those at the Metro control centre and the drivers taking trains out at 4.30 AM (what time to they have to rise to be at work sound and ready to put such a rail network into operation-actually reminds me of seeing the Tokyo cleaners on their subway system, who between 2-3 AM the Network shuts-down for just the one-hour per day), through to the emergency divers at the end giving a final clean sweep of the track). It helped that there was a 'happy' ending, with excellent character development, and human reactions in stressful situations.
I would rate this in my top five of action, suspense films that include Terminator 2 (1986?); Cliffhanger (1993); Speed (the first one with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock); and add in Shawshank Redemption (1994) and Chariots of Fire (1983), films that I just sat and watched without knowing anything about the plot or characters.
Tremendous English dubbing, thanks to all those involved in the production of this film and to Bizzarro for making this film available to a wider audience than it would have had both initially in the cinemas and then on TV.
Excellent film. Keeps you in suspense. Very well made. It's dubbed in English and still very watchable.
WOW! My fav disaster movie...great camera work and editing...no need for cgi and all special effects. so glad it wasn't Hollywood !
The crash animation sparks is literally CGI.
Who ever did the dubbing on this movie needs a solid slap to the chops. The movie itself is not bad. The crash scene was very impressive. Dubbing of the voices completely took you out of that high.

@@jojiferrer Thats the problem. I think the acting might be ok. But the voices for the dubbing throws you so far off its hard to tell. I would have much preferred the original actors voices and a decent subtitle

Sure the dubbing was a bit ropey but I understood the dialog despite this. Pretty good disaster movie that I enjoyed watching. Thank you Bizzarro Madhouse for sharing it with us. :)

I was surprised . Normally when i see it is dubbed I look for something else but decided to stay with this one even though it is Russian and I live in Ukraine . A decent movie

I really enjoyed it, apart from the bit with the little dog, i thought yhey had lost him, was relieved to see the little fur baby climb out the storm drain, animal lover, been known to turn films off if animals appear to be hurt..✌️❤️😁

Wow! This is an awesome and fascinating movie. So very well made. Great storyline, acting and special effects to wow, and I love the music tracks in the movie. Very exciting.
I found watching this even more fascinating because it's Russian and I had the pleasure of watching this movie and easily take it all in because of the dubbing. That was so very well done and that must not have been easy for those involved to do. Bravo!
I'm grateful it was dubbed because if it was subtitled I may have been distracted from connecting with the entire sense of the characters and storyline. Thank you for sharing this awesome movie with the frills. Had me on the edge of my seat and I lost count of how many times my jaw dropped open for long periods of time during some amazing scenes and effects.
A VERY GOOD FILM,, with a great end titles song, (By Russian band BN-2) I have like many others fallen in love with the song, and it is on my playlists if anyone has trouble finding the OST the Film is one I would highly recommend, well Acted, Directed, Written, and very good VFX and with the dubbing in English makes it easy to enjoy if your not fluent in Russian, I really enjoyed this film,"Spasiba"

Great movie. But would love to watch it with the original voices, would make it even better. Even if it's Russian. The English voice translation was really bad. Like so bad it Sounded like they where making fun of the movie, so bad was it. But other then that, it was really good and really good made...

The movie is okay but I definitely love the ending song, it really touched my heart ❤️ where as, I have just broken up my fiance in Africa because I have decided that our distance and age differences are just to strong for this relationship to survive, he doesn't want to sacrifice moving to America and I don't want to leave America for Africa 😢

How many families have a father, mother, son, or daughter will not come home that day?
How mny classroooms with an empty desk when a child didn't arrive that day and never again.
It can be argued that the community suffers more than the individual, which makes life loss through suicide all the more abhorrent.

If anything, this movie enables me to appreciate Europe and America so much more. I am not quite thirty minutes in and I am shocked how commonly disrespectful they are to the elderly, to each other, women are to men, girls are to boys, and how disrespectful children are to their parents. It appears unhappiness and cruelty to each other are acceptable and normal in Russian society. No thank you! God bless America and Europe!
The acceptable violence, thievery, disdain for life, evil action towards others is just shocking! I had no idea that Russians were like this. It is sad to me that this movie is somehow a reflection of life in Russia. This type of movie would never make it in the civilized world. What a shame that this is acceptable in Russia. What a shame!
