🚨 Be sure to check out my list of favorite pickleball accessories in the video description. Lots of super fun things to add to your bag. Plus, discounts! 😁😁😁 📌 Price correction! It looks like the DBDe is $171 after promo code *MATTHEWK* -- not what I stated in the video. I still think it's a good value and easy to recommend for the reasons I shared in the review. Not sure how the numbers got mixed up. My apologies!
I've had multiple people say that their old double black is still by far their favorite paddle. The new version being an improvement is pretty compelling!
Have any of your friends bought one in 2024? I heard some people say the 2023 ones feel better than the 2024 ones even though apparently nothing changed

Thanks for the great review!
Thanks for watching! 🙏
I don't use elongated paddles. I wonder if it will take me a long time to get used to an elongated paddle, especially one as long as this one.
Yeah, hard to predict! I liked it for the whips, not the 2-handers. Felt super maneuverable for me personally, and I typically play with hybrids.
Nice paddle!
what no one talks about is that the grit doesnt last , theyve cheapened their products
Interesting! When did you clock the grit changing?
@@MatthewKPickleball after a month of use with my newest DBD , the grit is significantly gone and the spin has dropped so much
@@danmakesvideos3951 Had you gotten a DBD before? Just curious if the grit wears down faster now compared to older batches.
@@MatthewKPickleball yea , im on my second dbd because my first one lasted 6 months and the grit is a smooth and gone
