I love you guys so much, ive been watching for a couple years now and I took the chance to buy a 1986 MR2 this weekend and i love it. I would have never gotten into these cool old cars without your help.
Love the early MR2 was going to buy a Supercharged one around 10yrs ago but was absolutely shattered when I got into it and found I was far to big for its little interior.
Now's the time, they are only getting more expensive and with the way the world is going, the years of driving cool stuff is limited. Every day you don't is a day wasted.
so many cars and people in the world and this kind of stuff still happens. That so wild! Thanks for sharing this and thank you Danny for the sick RINGSSS LAAAAD!
Such a big world, but such a small world at the same time. Fantastic to see this car go on to a new owner who will drive it the way it was meant, and love it as much as the lad in Japan. Top Rriiiiinngggs Laaaaaad 👌🏻👌🏻
I love it! What are the odds. Extra neat because it's the first AE86 you saw in the wild in Japan. BTW I think that was a Budonoki sticker that was peeled off.
youtube is kinda crazy, you said that views on the series was dropping but i got randomly recommended this series by the magic of youtube algorythm and been bingewatching since episode 1, watched the ice drifting, japan without a plan, japan in a van (wich i watched in one night) and it's so unique and personal, that i think will be the kind of videos that will keep peaking on views periodically, like each 4 or 6 years you will see people still finding this series and liking and commenting, i'm on 2022, post-covid, and happy to see you dropped a new video like 15 days ago, and i didn't watched the video, i'm waiting to watch in the right order. thank you for putting the effort into producing this, i can recognize how it's personal and unique because it comes from one genuinely passionated heart, and i guess that's what will keep bringing people coming for this even when all the cars are teslas or some non fossil powered shit. this series will always itch our hearts, because it's about passion.
Neil! 🏆YAAAAS!!! 🏆RIIINNNGGGS LAAAD!! That just does something to my soul! It's wholesome! Pure and Raw!! 🌟🌟🌟 Bravo Lads Danny! what an awesome time capsule! To me this is period correct! And you drive it properly, Nice! Enjoy it forever mate!
Ah lads, ye just need to meet the Japanese lad who sold it now. Imagine if he swapped it for a lowered passat tdi import with shite up the sides of it!
In this almost unfathomably huge world, stuff like this just goes to show the phrase "it's a small world" might just be kinda true! Who would have guessed years later we would have a chance to see this car again, and what a beautiful piece of machinery!
God is helping to get u some seriously good content brother. This video is wholesome, love the car, great owner, amazing commitment to content at the end there!!!!
sticker on the rear window looks like a budonoki sticker looks street driven too because you can see the antenna for some aftermarket radio (cb style) and the mount on the dash
These videos are my motivation to buy an 86 one day. Im already checking every fucking site possible, wether European American or Asian markets. Thanks for these great videos Neil! Your enthusiasm is appreciated!
Great looking car! The E85/86 was never sold here in Sweden, and we have extremely few imported ones (13 of them registered in the whole country at the time of writing this). Affording one here is real tough. You guys are lucky to have yours :)
Crazy how things like that happen. I've always wanted one too and almost bought a mint one for 7k 9 years ago but for some reason i thought it was better to buy a comfy diesel volvo, easier to get insured on too. Now I'm of similar age looking for one too but the prices now Ill have to find a basket case
I'd love to import a car from Japan, is it expensive? Price of the car aside, what are the average costs involved? Great videos as always, I love seeing the progress of your own car and the craic ye have in the workshop.
yeh unfortunately it is, dealing with those absolute charlatans in the revenue when trying to get it registered here is always a pain in the arse. There is a few companies that have that can help you with the import process I believe
Neil I don’t suppose you or the lads have the wing side trim pieces or know where I could source those front small pieces do you? Sick vid as always and get the shop open!! Keep it up chap!!
I’d love to see a Francis style head cam footage of Neil during the rings 😂
This has to happen it would be dope
Neil check out Francis Bourgeois and make it happen we want to see you melted face doing ring lad 🤣😂

That’s a super cool platform! Little spaceship!

🍻🍻
Each time I watch one of the videos I’m tempted to make a horrible financial decision.
We a are tempted to make terribly fun financial decisions, but I got my 84 Firebird to tie me over until I can but myself an 86
Do it now, 86s are going stupidity up in value.
Now's the time, they are only getting more expensive and with the way the world is going, the years of driving cool stuff is limited. Every day you don't is a day wasted.
It's honestly not a bad decision at all. Classic cars have appreciated in value more than the majority of assets in the last 5 years
@@jonwebb9261 if youre going to end up loving something too much to sell it anyway than doesnt matter how much its worth. In my opinion anyway
so many cars and people in the world and this kind of stuff still happens. That so wild! Thanks for sharing this and thank you Danny for the sick RINGSSS LAAAAD!
super sick video!
Turbo's and temples and japan in a van is my two most favorite of on RUclips about Japan
Gives the thing absolute death at the end 😂😂 mad man 👏👏
thats wholesome af and crazy
Love the way the 86 is still the way it was in Japan
Such a big world, but such a small world at the same time. Fantastic to see this car go on to a new owner who will drive it the way it was meant, and love it as much as the lad in Japan.

definitely a budonoki (ぶどうの樹, located 2 Chome-13-2 Honcho, Nirasaki, Yamanashi 407-0024, Japan ) sticker!
@@Rezz4Prez 100% a Budonoki on closer inspection
What an amazing story!
Amazing AE86 to find you after all this time.
There are very few videos I watch on RUclips that make me smile as much as yours. Cheers lads, keep being you.

That's mad. And what an eye for spotting it and matching it up.
Surely the most noticable thing about that 86 was that strange roof Ariel
My mind is blown!!!! Awesome video
Luck of the Irish is a real thing. The amount of times you just 'happen upon' things like this is crazy... Love from NZ!
these wheels fit this car so nicely!
This is wild. One in a billion chance!

Thats nuts man! Always wondered how rare these cars are in other countries, We were very lucky to import a large amount over the years.
This happened because you guys are 100% where you are supposed to be in life and what you are accomplishing.
