the last ever car with sealed beam headlights was the 2017 Chevrolet express van. Also imagine if someone actually made a sealed beam front end for the Levin as a joke.
Show me a flip up light ae86 in australia, and ill show you a car that has been converted or imported. We got the sprinter here in australia- they were fixed light (We had trueno tail lights though, amusingly enough. On that same note, the US ae86s which had trueno front ends, had levin tail lights). And yes i know this comment is a year+ old. Buuut. whatevz
Maybe, but americans have much less strict laws when it comes to modding their cars, paying road taxes, yearly inspections etc. I don't know about japan but in europe modding a car is just hell when it comes to regulations of everything. Ontop of that many of the countries have stupid import taxes and the fuel costs twice as much as in the US.
It's not because of Toyota, but the laws of the market. And then, you should know that at the time, depending on the country, Japanese cars were not appreciated at their true value 🤷♂️ For example, in France, the Trueno was not available and only 250 Levin were sold new 🤦♂️
Unless you mean the American version there were plenty of AE86s made. In Japan they produced over 360,000. It's just the JDM fanboys who act like they're "rare" and overprice the living hell out of them.
I always wondered why the Levin never made it to the US, but that sunken, sealed beam monster would have been awful.
The algorithm brought me here. This channel deserves a spotlight
Appreciate it homie
I love the pop ups but I love the Levin 86 as well my buddy did a Levin front conversion as well looks awesome on his 86 GTS Coupe
So glad I found this channel!
This was insightful....DOT department of Transportation.
I'm ok with this in this case. The pop-ups version is so much better looking in my opinion.
Both looks really good, the Levin sold way better than the Trueno in Japan.
Great video as always
Loved the video you just got a new subscriber my friend, keep em up!
Gotta admit the pop ups are cool currently own two of these dam things

Hello fellow new youtuber (this account is not my actual channel)

Alternate timeline Levin: 😳
In Europe we didn't have a Trueno version 😢
Y r u underated????
You can find a levin in the states, if you know who to contact…
not having diesel land cruisers was much more of a loss
damn i never knew that
I think if they use the headlight of corolla wagon face, levin will come to U.S.
not in australia we got both

Every USDM import car is shit anyway. EUDM and JDM cars always received the best stuff.

you north americans have werid laws on car design
Well, obviously not enough AE86's were made anyways. Toyota dun goofed
