Yes. TMS was Arrogant with the new music directors and that's why - he could not sustain with the new generation. TMS was following like those days when singing for MGR and Sivaji. But SPB was smart enough to move around well with all music directors. Even when Elayaraja brought in Mano just to kill SPB but he still manage to go tru them and was doing well in tamil , kanada and telugu songs.
