Niall ferguson is great, but i want to know more about the housing crash that didn't happen. housing prices are ridiculously high compared to average USA citizen salary. Can you get a speaker on why cars prices are going down, you can give a shoutout to elon why not, why inflation went down, but housing and housing stocks are still through the roof even when prices are at an all time high, home sales are at a 30 year low, house builders stocks are all time highs, and mortgage rates are at 20 year highs. Can you guys bring in an expert on that? like why has auto market crashed but houses hasn't? Thanks.
This looks like a great space. I hope you guys get enough students and faculty to move to a bigger and more permanant space. I am pretty sure St Joe's in south austin would not have a problem doing some kind of collab with you. They have plenty of space for an eventual dorm build, and.... you could share classrooms, but I don't know about their overall classroom usage. I support most of what you guys do, and as great as 6 and congress are, its still kinda close to dirty 6 in austin, so you do need to make sure you aren't holding classes late on friday and saturday.... and presumably the students would be tempted to go walk to dirty 6 after the classes let out.... and now U of Austin has the party school reputation. which is why a move to St Josephs campus would be an improvement. If I was in any way connected to the school, the school has the whole floor, what I would do is talk to the post office etc and try to get an address on 7th and congress, just so you aren't associated with 6 street, which is, lets be honest.... drunk street.
So I want to get a masters in Computer Science or maybe a doctorate in hard Math or synthetic Chemistry. Are any of these courses available? And is this accredited? Looks great! Also are there any frats or sororities? I'm not exactly Don Juan, but let's just say I want to have some fun. Looking forward to more information!
