I just found it interesting that most of the countries mentioned were already immensely popular for Brits since they're popular tourist/holiday destinations for them, and where they mention the highlights are mainly nature - be it mountains, warm weather and warm beaches. If not, then the country has a strong historical tie (former British colony) to the UK in general, be it the US, Canada, South Africa, NZ, Australia, India or Sri Lanka. One thing I truly appreciate is the focus on nature and not on major cities, but then again the people interviewed were in Brighton so they're there probably for the nature and beaches. One of my favourite countries I’ve visited, I would say, is Singapore🇸🇬, ‘coz it’s one of the most modernised and internationalised cities I’ve been to...Divers food and culture also.
My favorite Country is Greece, for the white-sand sweep of Greece's beaches, all the more dazzling against the glittering sapphire of the Aegean Sea. In a country blessed with craggy mountains, natural harbors, and dramatic volcanoes, you're constantly surrounded by exquisite scenery, unique light, the endless blue color of Greece and the islands,a vast archaeological site, with more than 100 outstanding archaeological sites that attract hundreds of thousands of visitors each year from all over the world, with the greatest history this world have ever seen!
I notice many people avoid to say the USA for political or ideological reasons, but the fact is the USA is probably one of the coolest countries, thats why so many people will have visited it at least once in their lives.
At first I thought you mean avoiding to use USA and called it America instead. How could you tell they avoided saying USA? I like my travel there many years ago
For various reasons the US is not as high on my bucket list as other countries, and not all of them political. Having said that, when we Aussies are allowed out again, it will probably be the next country I visit because my partner works for an American small business. But there are lots of interesting places to visit so I am sure I will be happy to go.
I’m interested to know why you perceive it to be people ‘avoiding’ saying the USA? What, out of all the fascinating places in the world, makes you think that people might immediately think of the USA as their favourite country? A lot of people have no interest, at all, in the USA, or in visiting it.
What people generally don’t like about the USA is not their lack of culture which is a myth. They do have a culture which actually they export it very successfully all over the world. The problem is that this culture is not one that emerges from the collective (mainly) but rather is mostly mediated by the market. And that certainly removes character and uniqueness to it. The fact that such homogeneity and oneness could exist in such a vast territory with such diverse geography is puzzling and terrifying at the same time. That I think is the bottom line.
It never really ceases to amaze me how speaking extremely negatively of Americans is not only tolerated but actually encouraged and even seen as a sign of one’s intellectual enlightenment.
@Peter Pan exactly, I'm not saying the US or Americans are perfect or anything far from it but the way a lot of non Americans talk you'd think America was Nazi Germany and had zero redeeming qualities.
It's pretty interesting that they like France, and especially this girl who was a francophile because I'm from France, i do like ppl who are very involved about each other, because usually the UK is a place between themselves like the US, so it's more interesting if they're more open. I'm very interesting about Scotland, I think it's a great place to go there, or why not in the UK? 🤷♂️. I also like a lot of country like Spain, Italy, or people who have the same perception than us where we're very open. I do like the US for example but not ppl in my perception, because they're loud and brash ppl, and I think it's very honest, they're also naive and ignorant so that's why this joke rings true, but it's also depends about ppl. Ps: In my opinion.
I had been waiting for this video for a long time. Thank you! And my favourite country is.......Switzerland without a doubt! Why's that? Because there isn't any other country like Switzerland in the world! Seriously! They've got outstanding natural beauties, tall mountains, monetary sovereignty, independence and neutrality. Also, they've got four official languages: a paradise for language lovers!
@@EasyEnglishVideos Hello EasyEnglish! No, I'm not Swiss but having been to Switzerland a few times already I can definitely say that the Swiss Alps are simply marvellous!

One of my favourite countries I’ve visited, I would say, is Singapore🇸🇬, ‘coz it’s one of the most modernised and internationalised cities I’ve been to...Divers food and culture also.
Nice! I was interested in seeing more but I was only allowed a coach tour whilst I waited for my connecting flight
Your favourite country is Singapore
Subtitles french please ? Can you do that for next vidéos 📹

Australia & France ❤️
I notice many people avoid to say the USA for political or ideological reasons, but the fact is the USA is probably one of the coolest countries, thats why so many people will have visited it at least once in their lives.
I also have many friends who only see the political and McDonalds/Disney side of the US but I’d love to explore it more 🇺🇸
At first I thought you mean avoiding to use USA and called it America instead.
My favorite country is France because i'm French
Makes sense
USA.....most famous....has everything...probably...people's favorite......but everyone...has their own opinions
My favorite country is South Korea # BTS Army
It never really ceases to amaze me how speaking extremely negatively of Americans is not only tolerated but actually encouraged and even seen as a sign of one’s intellectual enlightenment.
It really is pathetic, shitting on the US seems to be the "cool" thing to do for people.
@Peter Pan which is very ironic since US movies, tv and music are extremely popular worldwide and the US gets more immigrants than any other country.
@Peter Pan exactly, I'm not saying the US or Americans are perfect or anything far from it but the way a lot of non Americans talk you'd think America was Nazi Germany and had zero redeeming qualities.
The middle class have been brainwashed here in the UK.
Why would speaking negatively of Americans not be tolerated? As for the rest of your comment: What a load of crap!
Greece of course! 😊
Mi piace la Gran Bretagna prima l Italia però sono italiana
Spero di visitare l'Italia e sto cercando di imparare un po' di italiano. Ho capito il tuo commento, quindi è incoraggiante
Ireland is my favourite.
🇮🇪
France and Switzerland and Austria and and…..
Would recommend isles of margarita venezuela. When the country is sorted out politically and financially secure. Such a shame how the country as gone.
My favourite is actually the UK
Interesante, me hubiera gustado que nombraran a Costa RIca...Ich wünschte, du hättest es erwähnt Costa Rica.. Aufwiedersehen.. Au revoir. See ya..
My favourite country is Croydon

I had been waiting for this video for a long time. Thank you! And my favourite country is.......Switzerland without a doubt! Why's that? Because there isn't any other country like Switzerland in the world! Seriously! They've got outstanding natural beauties, tall mountains, monetary sovereignty, independence and neutrality. Also, they've got four official languages: a paradise for language lovers!
Thanks for your nice words Gabriele! Are you yourself a Swiss national or do you desire to live/holiday there?
@@EasyEnglishVideos Hello EasyEnglish! No, I'm not Swiss but having been to Switzerland a few times already I can definitely say that the Swiss Alps are simply marvellous!
There are lots of beautiful countries in Europe, although the cultural identity of nearly all of them has changed so much that they don't constitute the same (holidaying) experience nowadays.
It seems pretty clear by now - in 2021 - that us mere Proles won't be travelling internationally again, anyway.
Do most people travel to many countries?
