      Sea Shepperd do you think, it will be a good first bike for a new rider?

    • @MajinMunga
      @MajinMunga 4 года назад

      Hey, how's the bike? Can you tell me how fast does it speed up and what's the top speed? I'm asking cuz i've been riding ktm 390 adv yesterday and it's fun, but it heats a lot and has a lot of vibes that you can feel on pegs and hands. If it wasn't for that i'd go for that KTM390adv. But these vibes were awfull. And i'm asking about the top speed, cuz ktm had more then enough power and torque for road use. It had 100km/h on 3rd gear and plenty of power till like 120-130. I was going 145km/h and that was it. I mean, you can go faster (they say 165) but you can feel the lack of horses there. So it's comfortable till like 120-130. Then it's terrain, wind and rider ratio that comes in. How is it on this beauty?

      @@Darkvisor Fantic or Svartpilen701🤔🤔

    • @Darkvisor
      @Darkvisor  4 года назад

      @@arcticcod8403 I've been hearing from a lot of people who have had problems with their fantics (both the bike and the lack of response from fantic when in need) so for that reason I would have to say Svartpilen 701.
      I have a test ride video of the svartpilen 701 as well as a "full ride" video on my channel. feel free to check them out.
      but back to your question:
      the fantic feels much lighter and more fun and agile. It's a great bike to have fun with in general in comparison. The svartpilen 701 feels more like a "normal" road bike.
      Try both and get back to me what you think of them. Like we say in sweden: "Smaken är som baken - Delad" 😁👍

      Fantic is not cheap here in Norway, 10,000NOK in difference

    • @Darkvisor
      @Darkvisor  4 года назад

      @@arcticcod8403 Ok, well i've heard from a few people now. might be on other videos or in other discussions. But then, you only get to hear the bad things when people complain. you never hear from those who doesn't complain, because.... well, they have nothing to complain on hehe...
      I enjoy the fantic more than the 701 just because it's lighter and packs a lot of punch. i'd choose the fantic....
      norway is still under lockdown?
      you could buy a fantic from sweden, i think the price might be much lower here. The only reseller of fantic in sweden that has managed to sell the scramblers (and a few even) is my friend Henrik at Mc förmedling i Mark near the west coast in sweden. If you contact him you could probably get a very good price if you can come down and pick the bike up there. just contact him and ask more. =)
      oh and make sure you get the bike power mapped. they plug it into a computer and map it in a few seconds. it makes the engine even stronger and more fun. i highly recommend it and doesn't cost too much. =)
      If you haven't already, check out my video of the fantic 500 caballero rally. same bike basically. but I find it even more fun =)

    It's a Fantic...and they know what they're doing when it comes to style, performance and off road capability. I know they are selling plenty of these, but in years to come, this will be one collectable machine. It reminds me of the new Mondial in style and cool. The typical Fantic ' light as a feather' design has always worked...going back to the TI. I understand the build quality is very high, so the price is ok....this isn't typical Japanese fodder and people will want to talk to you about Fantics of old and Italian style. This is a bike which will age well....and, everyone who rides one has said how much fun they are.

    Good test, thanks.
    At 1:30, though, you mentioned you´re 175cm/5.7" tall, but that is not correct. 175cm is more like 5.9", and 5.7" is 170cm tall. It looks like you´re flat-footing there, but later you mention it´s a bit "tall", compared to your scrambler.
    So, could you please clarify how tall are you, and whether or not you can flat-foot this bike?
    Thanks!

    • @Darkvisor
      @Darkvisor  5 лет назад

      175 cm = 5,74147 foot
      Hmmm, it's not taller than my scrambler, did I say that in my video? 🤔 it's about the same height.

      @@Darkvisor Thanks for the clarification. And no, 175cm is still 5′ 8.8976″ (foot+inches), not what google says when you ask him... ;) Height ares expressed like that, as you can find in any height-converter, Wikipedia for any celeb, and pretty much anywhere else in the planet. As a Swede, I´m actually surprised you don´t know the table of equivalences by heart... :D
      Best!

      you're the first one to point this out! I have that "sentence" in many of my videos. all being wrong! 😞

    • @1650million
      @1650million 5 лет назад

      @@Darkvisor Hahahah... Shit happens... ;)
      And no, mate, you´re basically 5´9" tall, since you´re supposed to round up "5′ 8.8..." to 5´9". And that´s just basic math... ;)
      Go to height converter website (dot com at the end) or any other website, and you´ll easily find the equivalences. I use metric myself and know the equivalences by heart, it´s pretty simple when you get used to it.

      Ti consiglierei di prendere la versione Rally di questa bici. Ha una sospensione migliore ed è più adatto per il fuoristrada. Personalmente ho trovato il rally migliore. Non dimenticare di prendere il "kit da gara" che rende la moto un po' più forte e divertente. non costa molto e può essere fatto dal tuo fornitore. collegano la moto a un computer e poi è fatta!

    Looks really like a fun bike!
    Anyway what do you think about the Triumph street scrambler limited at 35 kW for A2 as a first bike? I've never ridden nothing more than a 50 in street, but sometimes I've played with my brother's KTM 125 exc. I know that for a 900cc 65hp it's not too much but I really like the way it looks and it would be great to be a starter bike for that reason... do you think it's too much? 205kg.. btw my brother's first bike After the 125 is the MV Agusta F3 800, that's a nice jump also ahah

    • @Darkvisor
      @Darkvisor  5 лет назад +1

      Never tried the triumph scrambler. But I hear it's not a bad bike! If you like the looks then by all mean! It's good that you can just remove the limitation later on when you move up from A2 license. Something you can't if you just go and buy an A2 bike straight away.
      200kg is kinda standard weight for most bikes and since the scramblers have a nice good and low balance point, it won't be much of a problem for you. My Ducati Scrambler 800 is around 200kg and it's easy to handle. I even go bananas offroad with it hehe. If you have more questions, feel free to ask. And check out my ducati scrambler videos. Hello Dark Visor
    Im living in Sweden now and I would like a bike that would be just as fun on the small twisty roads as it would the grusväg the very same small roads turn into quite often. The sports bikes im used to back home would be a waste of time and the big tigers and gs adventure bikes look too heavy and serious. I've considered a svartpilen or ducati scrambler but this little thing looks and sounds hilarious and is a bit cheaper. Do you think it is a worthwhile bike for blasting around the swedish countryside including the gravel roads?
    Cheers
    Paul
    Uppsala

    • @Darkvisor
      @Darkvisor  3 года назад

      Greetings Paul and thanks for watching my video.
      This bike would be good for what you wrote but this is just 500cc. I used to have a ducati scrambler 800 and the difference in power between those two is very noticeable. If I were you, i'd choose the ducati scrambler. But... This bike is still very fun and cheaper. plus the low weight is awesome. Very high fun factor. Twisty roads the ducati is better however.
      To summarize: caballero = higher fun factor, low weight but lacks a bit when it comes to power
      duc scrambler: still fun, weight isn't a problem, you get good power.
      I have a lot of videos with my old duc scrambler on my channel. check out for example a video called "first ride of 2020" and the others if you like.
      but also, don't miss the fantic caballero rally video! in my opinion is much more fun than the fantic scrambler. check out that video also. =)
      and if you decide to go with fantic in the end... I know the best dealer in sweden who sells these bikes, I can hook you up with free shipping 😉

      Don't know claimed top speed, but I got it up to like 147km/h on the highway. So something near there I guess. =)
      The caballero is lighter and more agile, however the ducati is stronger and and heavier.
      I don't know what more to say about that. I do like that the ducati is stronger because riding strong bikes means fast acceleration. But the caballero is lighter but really strong also due to the low weight but acceleration isnt as good as the ducati.

But this way for a 1000€ less, a year old Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 a really nice twin is a bit more attractive to me as a second lower powered machine for my garage. RE isn’t as cool looking as this Fantic, and not as light weight but it’s amazing value for money and a tremendous base for customizing.

    Best thing about cheap bikes is that. They are cheap. If and when you drop them. You can afford to fix it.
    Imagine if you dropped your triumph scramble. ( 2000)worth of damage not to talk of the tft screen.

      The engine is designed in italy, just made in China...but that should not be a problem, cause this brand has a lot off experience and the materials are nice, so i kind off cant believe you sorry
