    Quick dose of motivation for those trying to succeed on RUclips. Remember, as long as you keep pushing you'll be fine.
    I spent 11 hours working on a video which ultimately got 0 views so far. While my self improvement channel (the one you're watching right now) gets hundreds of views without any edits, thumbnails, etc.

    aspiring social media marketer and copywriter here... I've sent over 500 emails and messages to people, no luck. it's hard but it repays eventually. I KNOW it.

      Damn, that's a lot. I also tried to DM a lot of people in my business, 50 messages per day, no client landed. But guess what, even though we didn't win any client, we won the battle with ourselves because we're still pushing and still going for it!

      As many have said, your clients usually don’t care about marketing their business, they want clients, example, **Leads**. Customers which they can then be redirected from you to their business.
      It’s even better when you can guarantee them with your sales expertise that they will be sure to become a client in that company, and even better if they be a returning customer.

    Starting a channel these days has to be tough friend, as you are trying to stand out not only against a massively oversatured market, but also a fiercly biased and punishing algorithm. (Although talking head content is on the rise!)
    Honestly, starting anything new is hard work, but it becomes a lot easier if you do it for yourself rather than other people.
    Stick it out, if it makes you happy, and as long as you stay honest, your people will come to you. 🤘

    • @mikussofficial
      @mikussofficial  Месяц назад

      That is true! And to be honest, I genuinely think that todays algorithm is more friendly to us, creators. Because every time I refresh my homepage, there is at least one video with like 12 views, it is giving those new creators chance!
      Creating content on this channel for 53 days straight already taught me a lot, and now I noticed that even though I was able to gain thousands of views here, it doesn't transfer onto my new channel.
      That's why I though creating a video like this might be beneficial for people. Because here, even though this content is really low-effort, I am still getting more views than on my "high-effort" one.
      Which simply shows that it's not about having flashy edits and cool thumbnails, but rather it's about being authentic, being who you are, and sticking to it no matter what!

      Compared to what it really takes to succeed in anything - yes, true. And I know that.
      But there are people who'd be extremely discouraged after experiencing something like this. I know that, because I was one of those people 3/4 years ago.
      That's why I recorded this video, to explain that "Hey, it happened to me, but that's normal and that's what will always happen! The last thing you want to do rn is to give up"

    Hey, man, I've been on RUclips for 1.5 years. Uploading 2-3 videos weekly and so far, I only have 1.2k subs.
    To those who are starting out on youtube and haven't seen any results, know this:
    The reason why I kept going is because I firmly believe you're only 1 video away from going viral and that'd change the trajectory of your RUclips career forever :)

    • @mikussofficial
      @mikussofficial  Месяц назад

      That's true. All it takes is getting 1% better with every video, and having this "I'm one video away" mindset.
      But the beautiful thing about being a small creator is that I can easily reply to all the comments and just keep doing what I feel like.
      On this channel it doesn't matter for me if a video gets 10 or 2k views. But as I started my 2nd channel where I kinda care about views I wanted to share my experience in this video :D

    man people work for many months to get recognized by people ..
    and here you just work for 1 month

    • @mikussofficial
      @mikussofficial  Месяц назад +1

      yeah, that's literally what I said in the video. It's for people who might get discouraged because they put in a couple of hours into a video that didn't get them the results they wanted.
      My message here is that it takes time and you have to stick to it. Right now this channel without any edits/thumbnails/optimization gets more views than the channel on which I actually work for hours every day. And that's only because I started this channel 2 months ago (almost), while the second one is literally 5 days old
      So editing and thumbnails are not necessarily gonna give you results. It's about your commitment

    One suggestion is to also aim for shorts. My 8-year-old nephew got 1.5k subs in a few weeks by shitposting, all through random shorts.

    • @mikussofficial
      @mikussofficial  Месяц назад

      yeah, shorts are good but that depends on what's your goal. I have a friend who gathered 1.1m followers on TikTok through posting random stuff but then wasn't able to do anything with that audience honestly.
      Shorts are great if you're trying to reach more people, but are usually less "targeted".
      I was thinking of uploading shorts on this channel at one point though, we will see!

      I've done multiple programming projects in the past, I know my stuff, and I have real skills there. I never said that I want to live off of RUclips, EVEN IF I'd be able to earn something here it would probably be just enough to cover my small expenses, mostly some kind of food.
      Edit: Thanks for the advice though, I already caught myself being delusional about earning potential on YT about 3 or 4 years ago and I learned from that. If it would be someone else on my place who did not experience it, they might actually think differently
