Amanda, I can’t believe how easy you make this stitch look. I was watching someone’s tutorial I got so confused my stitches came out with holes. Thank you again for making videos. I’m just learning!
Glad it was helpful! This is one of my favorite stitches 😊🧶
I love this stitch. Thank you for making a Crochet 101 on it. I've been using it to make all kinds of spa items. I've been on a soap saver kick lately, and I've been making them with this stitch. You should design some soap savers and/or some other spa-themed items in the future. The soap savers I've been making with this particular stitch are made by first making a rectangle, then folding it in half and seaming it together with the whip stitch, after which, a drawstring is added, however, I've also made andm (and prefer making them) in the round. I'm excited to see what types of pattfors you come up with. This stitch is so relaxing, and you described how to do it so nicely. Your voice is so soothing, and your videos always make me smile.
Thank you! I’m glad you’re enjoying my videos! I have a lot of projects in the works, so I’ll add these soap savers to the list as well
Awesome! I really like the ones that are crocheted in the round because there's no seaming required. Can you please try to get some out soon? I'm putting together a really nice gift basket for mymom, and these would be perfect to go in there.
Wow Amanda what a fabulous tutorial! I was struggling with this stitch most of the day as another video didn’t explain it as well as you, I totally understood what you were going on about and the close ups really helped . Many thanks x
