How well does this pattern hold upon the wash and when you actually use it? I’m thinking of giving a few away since I have already made a bunch and have enough already. I just want to make sure it holds up well for my friends

Hi Micky, Thanks for the video. It reminded me of how much I love this pattern. I’m going to make a baby blanket in a 3 wt yarn in peach and mint.

Has anyone else found that the darker Lily Sugar & Cream colors bleed in the wash? I used a variegated green and white, and now I have dark green and light green. Haven’t washed the red yet, but there is a laundry warning on the label.

Yes, the darker colors may bleed. Try soaking the finished piece in distilled white vinegar before using and washing. This might help set the dye.

Love this! I am going to use it to ease me back into crochet. I started a blanket but stopped at Christmas, tried to go back to it in March and my stiches are much looser now. ugh. So I put it back into time out. Fingers crossed!

I saw a yarn at Joanns, that was a Lily yarn, and it was marked as a Scrubhy. It felt like it was made from plastic, and the display said it was for making scrubbies. There were several colors . Anyone try using it??

The Lily Sugar n Cream Scrub Off? I really like that one. I have used it for dish clothes for my kitchen and love using them. Was tricky to work with until I got used to it, I am so glad I gave it a chance and kept working with it.

@@beatricemae3786 thank you. It looked like it might be tricky to work with until you get the hang of it. I may have to try it 🤔
