I really like this pattern! I'm a little slow so I have to stop and start the video to get the row changes and counting of the rows right. But it's a nice pattern can't wait get started!
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy making it 😊. Yeah, there are so many different names per crochet stitch. Like the moss stitch (linen stitch, granite stitch, woven stitch). ✨
My bobbles want to go to the back instead of the front… they disappear also. Maybe it’s my yarn ; it seems difficult to work with; however, my bobbles are not cooperating like yours do in the video. Love the way yours look!
Hi there, yes that can definitely happen with this stitch. I like to pop my bobbles out when I'm starting the next row and using a smaller hook size definitely helps out with making this stitch. You kind of have to work the stitches a bit tighter. I hope this helps! 😊
Great pattern! I love how mine turned out , thank you! Is it possible to make this pattern larger for a tea towel? If so, how many chain stitches would you start with?
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the pattern. I don't have the measurements yet for a tea towel, but the multiple for the stitch pattern is 2. So you can adjust the foundation chain to it make it larger by just following the multiple. I hope that helps. 😊
I really like this pattern! And the tutorial is wonderful. I am 99% sure I'm doing the bobble stitch correct but the bobbles are disappearing. Like they are there, just they flatten. Is that normal?
Hi there, yes this can definitely happen with this stitch. So before you start the next row, push those little bobblet's out with your finger. This should help make them more visible. As for your second question, sometimes going down a hook size will help. You want to work the stitch a bit tightly too, so I would recommend going down a hook size. I hope this helps 😊 Good luck!!
Hi, I am very new to crochet and I am trying to make this dishcloth. What are you calling the second stitch? I understood bobble stitch, but not the other one. All these terms for stitches are a little overwhelming at the point.
Hi there, welcome to crochet! 😊 So the first stitch is a bobblet stitch, which is a version of a extended single crochet stitch and the second stitch is the suzette stitch. The suzette stitch is made using single crochet and double crochet.
Really cute pattern, however, I am having a very difficult time getting those bobbles to pop out on the front. They seem to naturally want to pop out on the back. I have tried 3 different hook sizes, 5, 4.5 and 4, all with the same results. I am using a cotton yarn and the only thing I can figure is the yarn you are using is much softer than what I am using. I am an experienced crocheter and this pattern isn't difficult, but it's not working out like the video. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. I bought your pattern off Etsy as well. Thank you.
Hi there, Thank you for your question and for purchasing one of my patterns. I'm sorry it's giving you a bit of trouble. WeCrochet dishie yarn is a bit on the softer size, but any cotton worsted weight should work for these dishcloths. I would recommend pushing out the bobbles with your finger on the backside before starting the next row. This should help make them pop, here's a good video explaining this stitch too ruclips.net/video/YynkMEGwKJk/видео.html Let me know if you have any other questions :)

Wow, I've called that a berry stitch. Funny how many names a stich can have. Love this dish cloth. Looks awesome. Great pattern.

I have this same problem also, using a 6 mm hook. What size hook do you feel is best to use?

Working on this right now. Thank you for the video, it helped a lot!
I'm so glad it was helpful! Thank you :)

I actually just noticed you are using 4.5 mm hook. I am using 5 mm hook bc my worsted weight yarn recommended that size. Is that my problem?

The different size hook made all the difference! Looks more like yours now. 😃

Do you make hand warmers. I love your videos
Hi there, thank you! I'm glad you like the videos. 😊 I currently don't have a pattern for hand warmers, but all add it to my list.
Hi I hope you can help on row 6 which is repeating row 2 my bobbles are coming out on the wrong side . What am I doing wrong?
Hi Rhonda, I just left you a message on Etsy. But if you have any other questions, let me know. Have a great day!
Love it

can i use dk cotton yarn
Hi there, yes you could definitely use a dk yarn, but the washcloth might come out smaller. You might have to add additional rows.
thanks a lot much appreciated
Where can i find this in the link

What helped me was to make the bobbles less tight then the following anchoring stitch
🙏
😊
Love the pattern, but wish you would of took more time on each row to show how to do each stitch..
Hi there, thank you.
