Can we take a moment to appreciate the guy in the red sweater whose first instinct upon seeing a fist fight was to run to a Greek restaurant and rile up the waiters? A true drama queen
@@matthewtuckey friend of mine fell through a glass table once, sliced his arm open so bad it cut an artery and he lost basically the max amount of blood you can lose before you can die by the time the paramedics showed up. Both of them apologizing to the diners at the restaurant and singing happy birthday is best example of classic British politeness and good manners. Whatever happens, whichever situation you're in, never forget your manners.
Most people don't know how to kick and they are swinging their legs wildy, with no regard for defense, balance, etc. Because of this the fight looks awkward, but i seen some brawls looking exactly like this.
Definitely better than that church scene Kingsman lol... i was thinking to myself 'this whole fighting bit is kingsman but if the movie was unscripted... or something' sorry for that random thought but I'm still laughing at that
Maybe you already have a Mark Darcy in your life, but you didn’t realize it and think he’s a jerk, because that’s what happens with the Darcy archetype, both in Pride and Prejudice and in Bridget Jones. My advice is, go to the man you find the most rude and antagonistic towards you and ask him if he likes you just as you are
I always loved the song they play & the fact that Bridget & her friends are trying to choose who’s side to be on, completely unfazed at the violence going on in right in front of them 😂
Daniel: Enough Darcy? Mark: Not quite, if that's alright with you. I also find it hysterical when they were singing happy birthday and Mark was like "happy birthday dear what's his name" The Bridget Jones films are some of my favourites to watch!
Only the English would still mind their manners even when fighting 😂😂 Those two saying sorry to the guest as if they hadn't just destroyed half the restaurant.
Most of the viewers, swooning over how realistic this fight is, forget or don't know, that being knocked unconscious is seldom as "graceful" as falling down loosely and falling asleep. Uncountable videos of street-fights will show that most knockouts entail the subject going into a stiff, stretched-out, blank stare - and they commonly keel over just as stiffly, with another awful crack to the head when hitting the ground. More rarely, a victim will collapse slowly into ugly convulsions. When someone is shot or stabbed to death, their eyes close, but when they're knocked senseless, their eyes stare. It's easy to predict - simply expect the opposite of what Hollywood portrays.
Nah, the actors just were having a friendly argument and they broke a sissy fight in the middle of the set, and then the rest of the cast went on cheering them on, and the director was like "yep, it fits the scene, this is going into the final cut".
Daniel really is self-destructive, isn't he? He could have let it go, but he keeps provoking Mark after it should be over. I think he wants to get beat up (as well as have the last word). Gotta say Mark's fight skills got a LOT better by 2014, though.... 😉😄
I'd pay to see a crossover between "Kingsman" and "The Man from U.N.C.L.E" just for the purpose of pinning Harry Hart and Alexander Waverly against each other. If it's anything like this, all un-choreographed and improvised, then I'll double my payment.
Ladies, this is what it realistically looks like when two guys fight over you - it's not vampire vs. werewolf, sword fights or pistols at dawn. It's clumsy fisticuffs with unattractive grunting and altogether looks like two six-year olds having it out over who stole whose Pokemon trading cards...

Lmfao best part he was funny as heck(. Fight) he sounded too excited for that fight. Lmao.
Bro that’s the funniest part LMAO
Reminds me of being in High school. No one wanting to stop the fight, only wanted to gather around to watch.
@@shalamargalloway6982one of his best friends had two guys fighting for her love! Of course he’s excited! 😂
the most realistic fight scene in a film ever
Have you seen They Live??
nah in real life the restaurant workers would have seperated them long before they could cause damage there
Yeah, you can keep your Kingsman church fights, I'll take Colin Firth in BJD any day. *grins*
Do you know how much blood you spill if you actually go through a window?

Where was his manners when he was sleeping with a married woman

It’s Colin Firth’s mumbled “Happy Birthday, dear...whatshisname” that kills me every time.
Same here EVERY time hahahaha
😆😆😆😆😆
Honestly same! Always makes me laugh. It's the little things that are the funniest
Me tooo. 😂😂😂😂classic
That made me laugh when he said happy birthday what's his name 😂😂😂😂😂😂
That series of crappy kicks they do always makes me crack up. The fight choreography is brilliant.
Aisha Hutchinson-Stewart I just recently read that it was improv .. which makes it funnier in my opinion
There isn’t a choreography, they improvised the entire fight

That’s not choreo, that’s just how British people fight apparently
Lol the way most British middle class men fight to be honest
And Irish private school boys 😂😂😂😂😂
Probably the way most men anywhere fight. All other movies have had it all wrong.
@@melodyk10 not drunk enough lol
Especially the apologising in the restaurant 😂😂
"Quick! It's a REAL fight!" 😂😂😂
An enormous birthday cake AND a fight to watch? That guy must've had the best birthday EVER :D
Buddy practically had a front row seat to view the fight lol
When they stop to sing Happy birthday 😂 "Happy birthday dear whats your name" 😂😂😂

Colin Firth showing Hugh Grant that manners maketh man.

For those of you wondering the guys in the background are saying "get him", "that's it "...etc (I'm greek)😂
@Ilovesuperman Greece it's a country so yeah
@Ilovesuperman no
Oh cool, thanks!
This movie is outstanding in its detail
Colin Firth apologizing for ruining someone's dinner is just too cute!
This is how real gentlemen fight.
SO.... great. Love the way they try some judo kicks, but like all middle aged men they aren't athletic or fast enough to do anything.
A very judgemental comment on middle age men.

Okay gotta say - great middle-age men fight! Ain't Colin just adorable XD
Yes he is love him to bits
0:43 So this when Mark Darcy realized he needed to take some more practice on his fighting skills and then became Harry Hart as his alter ego.
"Happy Birthday to what's his name". I love you Mr Darcy/Colin.
Mark fighting Daniel is the best thing ever it shows that he truly loves Bridget no matter what even though he doesn’t show it much
The end of the fight with both men crashing through the window was the cherry on top of that hilarious cake ❤😂
"Fight. Quick, it's a real fight!" I still say that when I see two people arguing or fighting in public.
0:45 Colin mumbling "die" while they kick each other 😭
The funniest bit is when hugh/Daniel says wanker at the end lol.
lol I love it how Tom goes to gather a crowd

Oddly enough, why are the waiters egging on the fight, which is quite funny. love tbe way they pause to celebrate the birthday of the guy.
"Haaapy birthday... eh, whatshisname..." I DIED laughing
The cake Parthenon must have been sooo expensive but so worth the gag
" I will shin you " lmfao
I love how polite Mark is fighting in the restaurant.

My favourite fight scene ever! Finally, a realistic one :)

they kicks they tried to do made this fight even better. this is like the highligt of the movie
I love how all the male spectators didn’t appreciated the cheating 😂
I first saw this film when I was 4 and I found this scene absolutely hilarious
I love how there's an old man at 0:41 who also joined the waiters to watch the fight
The problem with Bridget Jones baby was that we didn't get a Darcy-Cleaver fight scene.
Best. Fight scene. Ever.
Never mind the blue soup and marmalade dinner which preceded it; *this* is when we all fell in love with Mark Darcy.
You broke my bloody jaw!!! I can't stop laughing 😂😂😂
“Happy Birthday Dear What’s-his-name”
😂😂
I wish that was my birthday, get to have dinner and a real fight
They're so bloody British xD
I fucking love this film "Happy birthday......what's his name"
Ironic how both these two were seen as Wimpy Upper middle class romantic leads and now they’re both seen as two amazing actors
Both had their creds well before wimpy set in
Because of this scene, "It's Raining Men" is officially the song I'd fist-fight my boss to in a Chili's parking lot. 😊
This is where his training for kings man started
"Happy birthday to you happy birthday to you"
Best song in fight scene ever
This clearly was the best adaptation of a Jane Austen novel.

It's raining men, hallelujah, it's raining men, amen

James Pascatore Too predictable. The singing was funnier and better left alone.
