I bought this unit in the lighter, (natural, silver) stainless color. Looks really good. But the LG's marketing images of this unit are deceptive regarding the color of the 'mirrored finish' of the glass door. It isn't a normal, silver mirror color. Rather, it's a dark mirror color, if that makes sense. This dark mirror still looks fine with the silver, stainless color of my doors, and we like it fine. However, be aware that it is much darker than the silver color of the surrounding metal of the left door and freezer drawer. It’s probably a better match on the black stainless version. This counter-depth still has plenty of room for a large pizza box on the shelf and we are completely happy with the size (Although our previous fridge was also counter depth, so it's not like we downsized to something smaller than we were used to). So don't anyone be afraid of the shallower, counter-depth version, which I think is about 26 cubic feet. Some people have commented that the counter-depth version's doors strike the front of their counter top when they open all the way back. These are thick doors; and when open fully, they do travel rearward towards the counter top. Our counter tops extend away from our sheetrock wall about 25 1/4" and the doors to NOT strike our counter. There is still about 3/4" clearance remaining between the open door and the counter. Our fridge is pushed very close (almost nearly) to the sheetrock wall.

Great warranty but it is useles when they don't have service technicians to work on the appliances. You are forced to buy new. It will not be another LG, that is for sure.

The ‘mirror’ on our LG fridge door had an annoying defect. It was as if a spec of foreign matter was sandwiched between the glass and the mirrored coating. It created a small bulge or simple. Not acceptable on a luxury, $4,000 product. It was a nightmare trying to deal with LG’s customer service. In the end, we got the fridge replaced, but that never would have been accomplished except for the help of the surprisingly professional customer service of Home Depot, our retailer. They ‘went to bat’ for us against LG’s impossibly infuriating customer service while I listened on the phone (like a three-way call). LG argued, and transferred, and delayed, and made excuses. The Home Depot rep became angry and very stern and got satisfaction for us. Again, dealing with LG was a horrible experience. Try not to have to do it. I found that all retailers had about the same price at the time I was buying. I would recommend Home Depot as a retailer due to my experience.

The worst customer service EVER. Our refrigerator (under a 10-year warranty) has been broken since the third week in August. I can't get anywhere with the customer service line -- they keep telling me they are "escalating" it and I don't hear back. The did send a replacement compressor - which was installed and DOES NOT WORK. Don't buy an LG refrigerator, whatever you do.

My opinion: Refrigerators have become "too smart," making them pieces of crap!!! I'm looking at you "LG." 🤬
How is it that we've become so advanced in technology, yet things break down and are significantly more costly to repair than 20-30 years ago.
When we first got married, we bought a cheap Kenmore, Washer and Dryer from Sears that lasted us over 25 years without a single repair. When it finally came time to fix it, the repair cost was only about $50. Very simple parts without advanced electronics of any kind.
Fast forward to today. Our only-7-year-old, supposedly "smart" LG refrigerator decided to stop keeping food cold (and the freezer failed). The repair tech explained that LGs come from Korea, where they use a type of Freon is that isn't legal in the US, so they replace the Freon causing the compressor to fail more frequently.
    Dumb, dumb, dumb...dumb.
Repair cost = $1,200 (new compressor that supports US legal Freon).
So, how smart is your refrigerator? I highly recommend NOT buying an LG.
P.S. My refrigerator even has its own app (LG ThinQ) with a built-in self diagnostic utility. Ran the self diagnosis and it says my refrigerator is just fine. No problems detected...as I watch everything in my freezer melt and observe how the milk has gone warm. Ugh!
I don't need a refrigerator that can send tweets
