I'm the opposite of this, I find a product that I like and I stick to it and use it till it's done and then buy another one 😆 I have one shampoo, one conditioner, one mousse, one curl cream, one spray conditioner, and that's it - I get stressed out if I have too many options!
I’ve always been this way. I switched shampoos when one bottle was out tho. So I had a little variety for my hair. I used a spray heat protectant. Nothing else. Now I have 5 shampoos, 15 conditioners/masks, 2 mousses.. & 500 creams & gels. And I do not know what I even like. I have a wash day I don’t like & start over
God i I wish. This will be me when I find my go to’s. I need more so I can have my protein moisture balance, since every wash day is never the same. Same with seasons 😭 so at least like 3 of each styler for me 😂
Thank you so much for your videos Jayme!! From a fellow Sydneysider, Catholic, and curly haired girl to another, I love being able to relate to a RUclipsr as much as I do to you! Keep up the amazing work xxx
I found that the Aveda nutriplenish leave in conditioner spray is nice as a refresh spray. I like to use the Olaplex No 7 bonding oil when I straighten my hair, because it is heat protectant up to 450 degrees.
im pretty sure that only applies to blow-drying, when using a flat iron its best to use a flat-iron specific heat protectant and then the oil is great as a last step for ur style
@@nicolecruz4967 Chi 44 iron guard, Morrocanoil perfect defense and GHD heat protect are all popular ones, pretty much any heat protectant products will do it’s just No.7 is more of an oil treatment w heat protection as a bonus not a focus and you’d probs have to use a lot to get enough protection to the point you’d b greasy on day1. I would LOVE to see a haircut video.. so we could see a before and during and after and how they cut it. Me personally, I struggle with telling hairdressers what I want because I want something suitable for my curls but I also enjoy straightening my hair once in a blue.
I’d been wondering about the 5 in 1 spray, so glad to hear it’s good I’m always keen to take a chance on cheaper products. Agreed the Briogeo creme has been a game changer for my hair that likes just one protein product in the lineup at a time. It’s the perfect amount to give me definition without the dryness.
Just saw ur reaction by accident but i quite recently bought that spray (because i saw it in video from her) and i LOVE it, i have 2c-3a kinda hair, but my mom with extremely dry 3c hair finds it not really strong enough for her hair, idk if this might help u decide :) hahaa
I loooooove Don't Despair Repair. It was my first product to try and reintroduce protein back into my hair after being strictly protein free in my products to moisturize my medium/low porosity hair. I loveeee it so much. I have only been using it once a month but am excited to see you try it. Loved all the products you showed off too.
I am 2a/2b hair type but I always enjoy your videos. It is interesting to me to see which products work and which doesn't work for you. Stay awesome and good person!
Excited to try some of these! I’m struggling with my hair so bad nothing I do works 😫 I even follow a lot of the things you do w some of the same products (Ik everyone’s hair is different but I’m at level 0 rn anything new to experiment with helps 😫)
Totally agree. I live in Honduras, and there's barely cantu at one store. Then there are online stores that sell some of the popular curly hair products, not all of them, and they sell them at such a high price!
I have the exact same hair texture as you do, and I also refrain from using oil on my hair. I just started using the Olaplex Bond oil because I got a free sample of it in a box subscription. It’s really quite nice; here’s a suggestion from Manes by Mel: use no more than 3 drops for your entire head. Use it on days when you have a very hard cast or you need to calm your hair down a bit (like, if you go outside and it gets frizzy). I love the Hask Refresh Spray but I can’t stand the smell! It’s such a good product , though. I did use a bit too much once and boy, did it make my hair greasy! I really would love to get you to try Curlsmith products (they have amazing gels) also I would love you to try something called Controlled Chaos (the cream), it was on the US Shark Tank made by two women and since you have the same hair texture I do, I think you’ll love it. I keep coming back to it again and again and use it to fix bad hair days from other creams. I use a gel with it; they say you don’t need it but it was summer here when I first started using it and it’s definitely necessary. (You guys move a lot!! ☺️)
Wow, I thought I had so many curly hair products.😊 haven’t tried the Husk and really heard good things about this product. Think I will give it a try. 👍❤️

hi Jayme Jo!! Great vid as always! i have the same curl pattern as you and i was wondering if you could do a video on hair growth tips? i feel like long hair is a goal a lot of curly girls have but are unsure of how to get there. your hair grows so fast i’ve been watching your vids for a year (since i started my curly hair journey, your page is actually what made me start in the first place!) and i would love if you could share what you did to make that happen. you have my dream length currently 😍
I donr do this to poop on anyone's.. anything. I just love it so much i believe its necessary to share: LUS curly girl shampoo, conditioner & curl serum - no moose no gel, 1 product basically & just how-to care for your natural hair. I believe curly needs its whole own section & its about time someone formulates health products inspiring our hair after centuries of sulfates\sleek & shine silicones that our hair does Not thrive on. Lus! Luv ur curls. Luv urself.
Could you try out the Cantu sheabutter line and give us a review? I’m using it now bc I want my curls to be healthier but i don’t know if these are the right products also my hair is 3b-light c
@@onlyhearts3758 Yeh look, I am not a fan. Flat and stringy. I feel like it would make straight hair nice and soft, but it's not a vibe for curly gals.
