Hyundai and KIA are notorious for refusing warranty work. They warranted this battery for life. But they have to accept there is a problem. I watch ALL of your videos. You have to take out the battery open the cell stacks and check the SOC of the individual cells… looks like one might be bad… but also with the live data stream you can see the cell readings… take a look and send me the details via instagram DM…
Unfortunately Hyundai have used the unstable battery chemistry like the Chevy Volt and BMW. From LG Chem, its been said there is a world wide recall on this battery due to fire risk and swelling, replacing from same manufacturer's stock, is not going to fix the problem therefore the Stealerships don't get paid enough for the warranty work and the liability involved. Not to mention the power relay assembly. Unlike Toyota the relays are hermetically sealed with nitrogen so they do not corrode or pit and so the life of the Hyundai contactor is drastically reduced due to the ingress of air and moisture. over a very short time. Resistance is Futile.
mrs has the niro phev with battery in boot i was lookng at batt pack in video or niro batt pack for a solar storge system, using the case and setting up for 48v and new bms , so good to see a strip down to see how the cells are setup
Hi thanks for taking the time to educate us, can the prolong charger be used to charge this type of hyundai ionic battery. Also what's the lowest soc before car cannot start.
So, how do u manually charge each cell or block of cells? Even when they are welded together, as long as terminals of each cell is exposed, u can still connect a lipo charger to charge each cell or block of 8 cells?
Two months now waiting for a new battery-called again today, they said another 4 months possible... Meaning they don't know.🤦🏼 I will never buy electric or hybrid again...

They asked me for a low voltage battery with reference 37507G2120 but there is no stock but I have a Kia car with reference 37507G2100 on the official website it indicates that it is the substitute do you think it could work?

It was dirty enough... how ever the vehicle clutch failed and caused a HV battery deep discharge... so probably both reasons 👋😎
