What have you found to be the best way to cut the firehose? I have something like double wall hose with rubber in the middle. It's super hard to cut. I was going to try some sort of saw, but thought the teeth would snag on the fabric?
Honestly I haven't had any issues with a good pair of scissors or a stright edge and razor. You can heat the hose in an oven and about 200 degrees the rubber lining can be peeled out
Really, very cool ideas! That said, I think you mean "Et cetera" and "Especially". Excetera and exspecially dont exist. Keep up the great vids!
🤣
This is awesome!!
What kind of thread and needle do you recommend for a sewing machine?
Do you know if firehose contains Asbestos?
I always try to think how to repurpose the couplings. Especially the big 5 inch ones.
I believe FFTOB (FireFighterTurnOutBags) is making scented candles with couplings but their website seems to be down.

Was the fire hose donated?
More like saved from the trash can.
What glue do you use? I also make different projects with firehose from my department.
Steven- 2 part epoxy resin and fabric or linen will make what's called micarta. It's also known as G4, G10 or Garolite.
Please do not use repurposed fire hose for dog toys being you do not know the chemicals used.
Yep. Theres info out there that says firehose is safe for dogs to chew on. My question is. Does firehose contain Asbestos?
