It's an amazing location in Huatulco, BUT you should be spending most of your time outside and esp. at those perfect beaches - THAT is the beauty of MEXICO!!!!
@@GringosRUs Yes, I always recommend for guests to spend a day out on the water or swimming, too, because those days always stand out and it's more cool on the boat or in the water. Huatulco is one of my favorate places. Puerto Vallarta and Guanajuato are my other best choices.
@@GringosRUs I was touring Mexico and spent a few days in Huatulco with three teens and my wife. I love getting on the water, so I hired a boat to take us to many of the beautiful bays by boat, so that was a nice time touring the bays of Huatulco.
Nice place! Looks comfortable and well-equipped. Even a dual cassette deck! The rockslides remind me of driving a rented Nissan Sentra (circa 1993) in Costa Rica. You’d come up on a spot where there had been a landslide and they had cleaned it up but took the asphalt with it so the road would just suddenly turn into the moon for fifty feet, so you go into “Emergency-Save-The-Suspension Mode”. At least you’ve got an SUV, so that perhaps helps a little in some of the rough spots. I had to drive all the way up a mountain in first gear in that Nissan, the road was so bad. Great job, as always, Mark and Gina. Looking forward to more from Huatulco! Thank You!
Thanks John. It was a harrowing drive to say the least. But we made it through it with patience and attempting to drive the slalom around all the pot holes in the road. This is a very nice unit and have really enjoyed our time here.
Those roads were no joke, yikes. Makes me wonder if the town floods during high rains. I’m glad you both are staying in a nice place. Glad to see the stairs weren’t made with tile and slick. Anyways, I loved how it looked a little cloudy with overcast, could you put in the current weather temperature, maybe mention humidity as well. When I watch videos, I’m always curious what the weather is when the video was taken, it gives me an idea of what months are hot and or cool. So far, the town looks adorable.👍🏽🇲🇽🇺🇸
We always say it because, truly, if we can do it, anyone can. Just have to buy into doing it 100% and go from there. Sort of like going to the beach in Zipolite. Just gotta do it! LOL
Hey guys thanks for the video I really like that area. I’ve been there 3,4 times. I hate that. It’s getting so expensive in Mexico though. the trip from San x to Huatuco. I did it on the bike twice in March. Super super windy and smokin hot.
It is definitely hot. The cost here is rising just like everywhere else. Of course, there are some locations, tourist spots, that are outpacing the rest of the country. But we love it here with only the heat being a drawback. But it is a LARGE drawback. Thanks
It was! That was very unnerving to come around a curve and see that in the road. It definitely took the weight out of my foot for sure. Glad you liked the drone shots. Beautiful little neighborhood here.
The landslides reminds me of driving in the mountains in Brasil where the most dangerous sign is "Erosion", because around the next curve there may not be much of the road there - it would have a saw horse just before a total abysis - where the road was aroded away.
Yeah, and here in Mexico, there may not be an alternative route that is very accessible. It is just another fun thing about life here in Mexico. Thanks Dennis.
@@GringosRUs I can relate! Where I was staying in Puebla for 4 months I had two flights of stairs every time i went to my room... but the upside is i lost weight.
Really Nice Camera work - enjoyed. A personal preference.... leave the map there longer. I've travelled much of the Baja but none of the main land and I'm interested to know where Huatulco is in relation to where you were and other parts. Great Video
You know, that may be a good topic for a live and or a video. The overall journey so far and showing the actual map and how we have traversed the country. It is really amazing now when we look back at how much of the country we have seen and how much we have left to experience. Thanks!
Your apartment looks nice (although the spiral staircase looks sketchy to me, lol)! It looks like a pretty area, maybe a bit newer than some of your other locations (from the drone's eye view). Nice to have fresh veggies across the street!
Those stairs are more than a little sketchy Cindy. We call them the stairs of death. LOL It is nice having fruterias, carnecerias and panaderias all so close. Even better is Los Parados, a taqueria that is across the street and it is so good to eat there. Always full of locals and the food is amazing and affordable.
Awesome footage, thanks for sharing ❤
That was a blast that we had there in Huatulco. This was a great stay. Fabulous vibe there and the condo was really nice as well.

We have expanded our time out on the beaches and water. It is truly a magnificent area. Thanks Dennis.

@@dennishassler605 We did that as well and it was a fabulous day on the water. The bays are so beautiful and pristine.

Your Airbnb looks a lot better than the one we stayed in!
We really have enjoyed this place. It has been very comfortable, heat not withstanding.

What a nice pool area!
It is a very nice area that gets a lot of use.
WOW! So much mud slides! That’s good you have a good driver.😅
The best! Thank God for other drivers flashing their lights to let you know something was ahead of you on the road. That was a nerve racking ride.
The landslides looked scary! 😮. The condo is gorgeous! And I love the drone shots! Enjoy!!!

I’ve stayed in Santa Cruz area. I’d recommend Ocean Park Condos and Real Marina Blue. Both are walking distance to the beach and close to everything.
Thank you for those great recommendations.

Hi guys! Nice video and really great drone shots! I look forward to the next one, take care!
Thanks Mike. We are always happy when we get the drone up in the air and share it with all of you.
You know you're living well when the cassette player has auto-reverse! Looking forward to seeing your Playa Zipolte video haha!
You think Andy! We have worn that out. LOL Yeah, we are going to have to get creative about the Zipolite video. But there will definitely be one.
Excellent
Thank you so much 😀 See you and Terry in a few months.
What a beautiful place! Looking forward to the Budget breakdown :)
Thanks Diana. We love it here with the exception of the stairs of death every night. LOL It will be coming in a month or so.

FYI it’s very smart to video tape all BNB to show if a door was broken etc Count dishes etc keep on file 2 months
Always. That's how we got our money back in Campeche. 👍

Good tip!
Hi Can you please comment again on the ointment you got from the local pharmacy
Sure Grace, It is called Indaflex. Great stuff.

2700$$$$ more expensive there then here 🎉🎉
And that is the off season rate on Airbnb. It is no longer cheap to utilize Airbnb.
