I bred dogs for 20 yrs. I followed Jean Dodds DVM for vaccinations. I had a licensed kennel so rabies vax was mandatory. I had horrible reactions. I learned to only use a thimerasol-free rabies vaccine. I warned my puppy buyers and gave them Dr Dodds written protocol. No Parvo or distemper vax after a year old. I also detoxed the dogs before and after the rabies vax, using lyssin and thuja. Most vets are in denial. I’m happy to see this one is not.

My cat was showing signs of UTI (and likely crystals). She’s had it before but I took her off of the prescription UR food. Once she started bleeding I figured I should take her to the vet but was reluctant because I don’t like pharmaceuticals (and many other reasons but we’ll leave it at that). The vet said her rabies shot was expired so she couldn’t be treated until she got the vaccine because “it’s the law.”
I told him I didn’t want her to have that (she already suffers from anxiety and aggression), plus she’s an indoor cat!
He refused to treat her unless she got it.
I felt very cornered and was split on walking out or giving in. But if I left, what would that mean for my cat who’s bleeding?!
I ended up giving in only to feel heavy guilt after. I gave her Thuja when I got home.
I also added drops of Heavy Metal and Chemical Binder (raw herbal extract) to her water.
Over $400 and guilt weighing me down, I got a call from the vet basically letting me know she’s not even sick! She was going through something that imitated a UTI but she didn’t actually have one. It did show blood though. I’m still working through the guilt of allowing my baby to get what I said I’d never allow again.
I heard about Lyssin but I didn’t have any. Is it too late to give it to her? If so, for how long and how many doses? I also was unsure on how long to give the Thuja so I gave it for a couple days.
Edit: I also gave her Apis for any discomfort around the injection site.
Also, I’m not noticing any further change in her as she was already aggressive and anxious. I’m sure it’s from previous vaccines-when I had no clue how bad they actually are.

How much of these products do you give?.
I have a rehomed 13 year old shitzu with with scaly as well as protruding bumps in a couple places, and now dry eye issues..
This video brought me to tears as I lost my beautiful golden mini poodles at just 8 years. He had neurological issues and allergies. He was so very special. He collapsed and lost all mobility, had been treated for occasionally getting like a stiff neck and shoulder. The vet told me to not let him run or jump. That was liking asking this energetic soul not to breathe.
Now he is gone.I feel guilty and angry that we now have all these laws and regulations for vaccines in order to just go to the groomers, or fly in an airplane.
My shitzu also suffers high separation anxiety as well as sound of smoke detector going off, she will shake and pee .Not knowing her habits before getting her during COVID has been an ongoing challenge. Now I know why she and other pets suffered needlessly.
I so appreciate this veterinarian being a great voice for us.

I completely agree! When I first got my dog she was completely healthy but vets keep pushing me to get my dog the rabies vaccine. I waited until one day months later I was at the vet for another reason and the vet made the rabies shot sound mandatory even though I really didn’t want to do it. Fast forward shortly after I noticed my dog acting different. Long story short she is now diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and neurological issues. She now sees the neurologist every month for overnight IV meds and daily meds I give her at home. Last month I got a notice send to my home that she was due for her annual rabies shot and if I don’t do it I will be fined. I contacted her neurologist and was told they don’t recommend me to give the rabies shot to my dog. I wish I would had stuck to my gut and never got her the rabies shot.
Thanks so much for making this video. It explains a lot. ❤

Thank you for this video -- your information really substantiates my fears of the Rabies vax! We have a 7 month old Silver Lab and I've postponed her Rabies vaccination intentionally. She's doing very well as she matures, so we have no development concerns. No concerns, no need for vet exams at this time.
I'm hoping to keep her away from the state-mandated Rabies shot until she's a year old. She did get the DHPP series of shots, as a puppy we felt they were important.
However, we have chosen to stop getting the DHPP for all of our dogs now. We're in a very closed rural setting, they're inside dogs unless w/ us, and the chance of transmission is very slim.
Our state of Va ties the mandated Rabies shots w/ the dog tags/licenses & property taxes. And vets won't treat a dog without a current Rabies vaccination.
A Sept 2023 article in the Vaccine journal showed a study on Canine Vaccine Hesitancy has increased -- any wonder why?!!

I don’t believe that color is a main stream color for AKC labradors, so it was someone selecting for color and I do think that sometimes those dogs have weaker genetics because they have been bred strictly for color. I do agree that the vaccinations should be made safer, but if you have never seen an animal suffering from rabies, you might want to look at the video because it is horrific and it isn’t anything you would want an animal to go through. There are countries on this planet were dogs still get rabies and it is terrifying. If you have never seen a dog with distemper or one with parvo, count yourself lucky because if you work in rescue you see this and it is heartbreaking to watch them die.

The same thing happened to my last Newfoundland when he was a puppy. He was a typical laid back, happy and healthy Newf pup until he got that shot. His vet gave him homeopathic reversal drops afterwards, which didn’t make one bit of difference. He had a completely different personality after that. He would lunge at other dogs on walks, instigate fights and bite people who were trying to pet him. Not Newf-like at all, he behaved more like a Rottweiler. He was never the same and lived to be 12 years old in almost complete isolation as he didn’t get along with other dogs or most people. My next dog will be va**ine free and will receive homeopathic nosodes.

I love the honesty! After a cat of mine had his second series of kitten vaccinations he had severe reactions. I looked desperately online and found a forum in which one person stated they used Thuja for their canine. At Whole Foods or Sprouts you can find this. It is tiny white pills that come in a small blue vial. The commenter said use DISTILLED water (I used a small amount in a shot glass), enough to fill an eye dropper. Tap one or two of the little pills into the water, taking care not to touch them with your fingers (why, they didn't say). Crush the pills slightly so they will dissolve (I sterilized the handle of a butter knife to use to crush the pills). Administer to your pet. The water will be clear with no taste or odor. I used the eye dropper (I prefer the glass ones) and set the tip alongside the tongue in my cat's mouth and squeezed the water in. It was easier for him to swallow, and he didn't panic as much as if I would have tried to put it down the center of his throat. I did this for 3 days. By the end of the first afternoon, he was able to physically move and recovered from his reaction. I am not a veterinarian and cannot say this is a perfect treatment, but this is what I did for my cat and later adopted cats. My cats are indoor cats and I do not get them vaccinated, because of that incidence. You make decisions for your pets with your own better judgement. They are your family!

What you're describing is a homeopathic remedy prescribed for, or to prevent, adverse reactions, to vaccines. I've been using h. remedies for years. The reason why they advise not to touch the pellets/pills is that there is a possibility of something on the hands (perhaps lotion) that can negate the effect of the remedy. I cured my cat's urinary tract infection in one day by administering Ferrum phos. 6x, a pellet an hour for 6-7 hours, by placing the pellet in a small meatball made from her canned cat food. A friend's two daughters had bad reactions to the polio vaccine, given 2-3 years apart. When it was the younger daughter's turn, she had a more severe reaction and couldn't move one of her arms. Her mom found out about and gave her Thuja (not sure of the potency or how many doses), but the next day the daughter could move her arm. Both times she told her pediatrician's office of the bad reactions. Both times they replied: "She must have picked up something in the office" - Do you think the office reported these adverse reactions? I could go on describing different issues for which I have successfully used or prescribed homeopathic remedies. I thank God for them.

Within 24 hours of the rabies vaccine, they both had bloody diarhhea, seizures and vomiting. They were so sick we didn't think they'd make it. The vet insisted it wasn't the vaccine. Two years later, one of the kittens developed a very severe, weird skin condition that looked like bumpy alligator scales on his back. He died at 8 yrs old from kidney failure. Our remaining dogs were vaccinated 5 in 1 as pups but that's it and they don't even have anti-rabies shots since they don't go outside our yard. Our cats are unvaccinated, though.
Even humans are over vaccinated, especially with the Covid jabs that are not fully tested. Given that vaccines are not rushed and mixed with other dangerous components and many becoming MRNA (not yet fully tested for vaccines and trial tests killed lab rats, if I remember right), I have become wary of almost all jabs. And given that the Amish are unvaccinated and still flourish, I think just eating right can help us build our immune system better than getting vaccinated which introduces bacteria or viruses, dead or weakened or some even live, into our bodies.
I am glad that as an old GenXer, my generation did not get too many vaccines and we were allowed to undergo some childhood diseases which gave us lasting immunity. Our schedule was also few and far between. Nowadays, babies and children have too many vaccines injected into them. Same with our pets.

I wish that lifestyle was a factor considered. The chances of my dogs getting rabies is about the same as them getting hit by lightning. I did have a dog that reacted badly to the rabies vaccine- lethargy and swelling at the injection site. I guess I should be glad it wasn't worse. I myself had a bad reaction to a vaccine and I'm anti-vax, no apologies.

I find myself questioning the actual "benefit" of rabies & other vaccines? My dogs are in the house probably 99% of the day; other then going for walks on a leash or being in their fenced in dog run ... what are the chances that they will ever come in contact with an animal with rabies? I am so sick of these veterinarians that are constantly pushing all these vaccines (for unheard of diseases? Wated me to vaccinate against rat urine?? Fear tactics... have never seen a rat or mouse in yard or house but they tried to convince me it could be on the street?? Wth?) and flea & tick "medications." Toxic!
How often should dogs receive rabies & parvo vaccines?
Previous veterinarian in TX wanted to give both yearly? It seems that more & more veterinarians are more concerned with the size of my wallet than the health of my pets!!

    • @phtm35
      @phtm35 Год назад

IMO after 2 years vaccination of the 5in1 vaccines on up aren't needed. Leptospirosis vaccines are definitely not needed if your dog isn't going around drinking out of puddles and such where a rodent has soiled them. Parvo is a puppy disease. Most dogs stay immune for years after the vaccine. If you want to vax again, get their titers checked to see if they actually need it.
Rabies vaccines are actually a 3 yr vaccine that vets are told by the state are needed yearly. This is out of my vets mouth. I asked for a 3 yr. They told me the vax was a 3 yr but the state won't honor a rabies unless they are vaxed every year.
I work in a feed store that supplies vaccines and I cringe at the series of 5 shots that are recommended on the packaging of the vaccines we sell.
If asked for my opinion I tell them I vaccinate at 8 and 16 weeks, then one year later and no more.

    • @treasuretrovel3816
      @treasuretrovel3816 Год назад

The possible contagion in rat urine is Leptospirosis. Turns out there are over 20 species of Leptospirosis and the vaccine covers only 3. Also, none of the "experts" or any of the papers on Lepto seem to know which species of Lepto are in what regions. Additionally, the Lepto vaccine is considered to be "dirty" by most poodle breeders and many other actual experts. What is meant by "dirty" is that it has all kinds of chemicals and cell contaminants in it so it causes a lot of very serious allergic reactions. Contrary to the veterinary propaganda, that an allergic reaction to a vaccine is just a simple, ephemeral thing, on the contrary, these "reactions" can trigger life long autoimmune conditions. There are tens of thousands of anecdotal examples on the internet, etc. of owners describing how their dog got a reaction to a vaccine and then his health went downhill from there. Because Lepto is bacterial, the immunity from a vaccine only lasts about 6 months so to have protection, your dog would have to get this dangerous vaccine every 6 months. I hate it that the veterinarians fail to discuss benefit to risk ratios with clients. This is one of those shots that has too high a risk to benefit ratio especially since none of the vets know what species it covers.
The better strategy is to know the scientific details of Lepto-- It is spread by wild animal urine in water and your dog could get it by licking water from a puddle. People can get Lepto from their dog. Lepto is not spread in dry areas or dry seasons. If your dog displays symptoms of Lepto (fever, lethargic, look them up I can't remember) and if a blood test at the vet shows liver or kidney enzyme elevation, insist that your dog be put on the appropriate antibiotic for Lepto immediately. This is because if your dog is positive for lepto, he could die if you wait for test results from one of the veterinary universities.
If you have rats and mice around your property then you need to get rid of them as well as raccoons, excess squirrels, etc. Make sure your dog has fresh drinking water and just feed him wet food so he is less likely to feel the need to drink from puddles.

All animals, including HUmans have differing constitutions. Personally I am a highly reactive one. So reactive to 22 meds so far and many, many foods. I got a tetanus shot and within 2 hrs my neck and spine were on fire. Never the same. My dr dismissed it as arthritis. Which was there before. It was a reaction and I got no belief and was scoffed at. I found an old osteopath who helped me gain mobility and I still suffer burning and tension at times. He told me the same thing happened to another client of his. Came in same symptoms, different shot. The shingles one! He was shocked. He never saw anything like it in his 80 yrs of medicine. They want to give my cat shots and I am scared. Interesting enough he is quite reactive and scaredy cat. He hasn't had them since he was little but now that he is 10 he needs a check up to get help. I am so sad and worried. I was scoffed at for not getting the preventative for the vid. I was scared. I almost died after my kindergarten shots and I believe they are what made me more reactive and weaker constitution. Not sure. But some are strong. Some have challenges. A few don't make it. That is the reality of our so called preventatives. So glad to see someone realize that they are not a one size fits all and quite possibly could need some improvements in things!

In places where rabies is rampant, I don't mind having dogs vaccinated for rabies, but once usually is enough, I believe or space it out for several years since rabies is indeed a horrible disease in third world countries such as mine.
However, our surviving dogs didn't get the rabies shots despite rabies being rampant in my country (but got the 5 in 1 for parvo etc when they were 4 months old). They are safe since they go outside to run around inside our gated garden so they don't meet rabid stray dogs on the streets

@bj5253 No, I am from the Philippines. But as I said, if you live in a country where rabies still exists (Western countries do not seem to have this problem), maybe wait for a few years before you give anti-rabies vaccine to your dog. Dr. Jones discussed about the anti-rabies vaccine in one of his videos so I hope you can find it because he specified the interval. I forgot if 5 or 7 years later after the first anti-rabies shot.
Don't do a yearly anti-rabies shot. So far, our dogs are fine because they don't go out for walks. Our garden is enough for them to get the needed exercise since they are chihuahua and shih tzu (parents) and their offspring (mix of their parents).
If you are subbed to this channel like I am, you can find videos about vaccines because Dr. Jones has a few about this topic and these will be enough to help you about the issue of vaccines.

I told him I wanted her titers checked and he refused, I also told him to just give her the rabies and he insisted on giving her the parvo combination vaccine as well! The vet then did the blood draw about 2-3 minutes later. The blood work came back saying she possibly had Addison's. I waited 3 1\2 weeks then had the blood work redone and it came back normal. I had her spayed about 2 weeks later and now she is barking at members of my family when they come home and is extremely anxious and scared of everyone besides myself. i have a medical alert dog and they gave him all his shots at one time which were good for 5 yrs...shortly after, his legs started to shake, mainly the front...he has anxiety attacks several times a week...hes always been very social but now afraid of other dogs and animals...capone also developed hyperkeratosis on all four pads...it has been 4 yrs and we are still trying to cope with all of it and he is no longer able to function as a service dog...so we stay home...never crossed my mind that it could be vaccine related

So heartbreaking…I used to believe in full vaccination for all my pets. Then when I experience first hand vaccine toxicity with my pitboxer shortly after her yearly shots. It was devastating. I went on deep dive research and found that there are so many toxic adjuvants, including heavy metals, mercury, etc their little bodies just can’t take. The saddest part, is vet school teaches that the vaccines are necessary and effective to prevent the diseases they are given for. I am searching for a complete functional, holistic vet in my area. Not an easy task!

i give capone serrapeptase twice a day to help control the hyperkeratosis. but the leg shakes and anxiety continue. in order to keep him as a service dog, he must be up to date on vaccines. since he cant function as such, he will never have another set of shots. i am so sorry for your loss. cant even imagine. thankfully, capone has survived but his quality of life has suffered. we are now their holistic vets. happy researching! @@tiffanyblue17

THANK YOU, THANK YOU for this very important video. Rabies vaccinosis is a real thing. No joke. My current vet refuses to see my dog unless he gets a rabies vax (or wears a muzzle when I bring him in!) Well, he had it at 6 months of age and has had troubles ever since. Thankfully, I see a homeopath and he was prescribed a remedy for the vaccinosis, but he still has issues; i.e., an apparently incurable yeast infection in his skin for which we have tried EVERY SINGLE THING, conventional, natural, homeopathic... nothing but nothing is helping him. I am about to see about immunoglobulin testing to see if his immunoglobulins are low; but I don't know what will happen from there. Thank you for speaking out about this condition. Most people think it's bogus - the rabies vaccinosis thing. God bless.

My youngest dog did have a one off seizure after his puppy shots to include the rabies shot. He's fine now.

Thank you for these helpful videos and support. My dog had a handful of vaccines recently (15 years old and I regret it). She had within two weeks what seemed like a seizure or stroke. The vet seemed to be in denial that the vaccine or med she prescribed for her incontinence could have been the cause. I was very disappointed. Ultimately it seemed she needed an electrolyte boost, no more vacs, (I hate how vets push them), and a special homemade diet.
Any updates that you share about treatment reactions would be great. As well as people’s personal stories. I am using some of your recommendations for arthritis and anxiety as well. So far so good.

It’s because they are not allowed to chew on safe raw bones and clean their own teeth. However, smaller dogs have a lot more crowded mouths and are more prone to dental disease.

Well the Canadian vet community has attacked Dr. Jones many times in the past and recently, forcing him to stop practicing years ago because he'd rather "retire" so to speak than pay the fine his community wanted him to pay for spreading holistic vet medicine so that he would be allowed to practice. I wonder why in the US, it is easier for holistic vets to flourish like Dr. Karen Becker.

She said " it's the policy." I'm not comfortable getting him vaccinated UNNECESSARILY considering his frail state of health.

My vet refused to acknowledge the spacial seizure my pup suffered 48hrs after her shot (I was told seizures are common in small dogs),plus the golf ball sized hematoma that developed at the injection site that took weeks to heal. She was under 5lb when she received it, but on her 'certificate', they put her weight at 5lb. Plus, she was only 17wks old...they went against the breeder's directive to wait until she was over 8 months old.
So, if they have lost their empathy to that degree regarding these things, they will get no more $$ from me.
Besides, why the *&# does a dog need rabies to cross the US/Canadian LAND border anyways? It's not like the wild animals are being stopped and checked before they cross😅

I had one that was threatening to turn me in with my last dog if I didn't get even though she had them and a titer test showing she still had immunity! With her having Cushings I didn't want to chance it but had no choice and another dog I had she had Kidney Failure afterwards so I am stressing out big time as soon it's time for the dog I have now to have another one. She's inside except when I am outside with her in a fenced in yard but it doesn't matter have to give them. Even the holistic vet in my area thinks they are safe. Great video. Thank you. I live in Europe and like to travel with my dog in our campervan. I felt instinctively that my dog, now 12 and arthritic, should not have another rabies jab (the last one was 8 yrs ago when we rescued him from Bosnia, so that vaccine may well still be active). This means that we cannot drive to countries where my dog’s vaccination passport may be checked, including my native UK. This is despite the fact that rabies is not endemic in the country where we live nor in the UK, and also despite the fact that there are some vets who can carry out a test to see if antibodies to a previous rabies jab are still active but who are not allowed to sign a statement to this effect to show border control enforcers. It makes me think that many vaccinations are pushed only for the benefit of the pharmaceutical companies. Anyway, thanks for reading and I really appreciate your videos, especially as my dog gets older and you talk about safer alternatives to some veterinary drugs.

Dr jones thank you for this video. We’ve been trying to figure out why our sheepdog has started to become aggressive. She is also having it looks like a runny nose. She is extremely more fearful and high anxiety than when she was little. She is just over 3 now. Is there anything we can give her to heal or reverse this aggression if it has been triggered by the vaccine ? I can’t even seem to take her walking now as she has started to growl and show her teeth at other dogs on the path. People now are afraid of our dog. She has def changed.

The 1st rabies did a horrible number on one of my shepherds. She almost dropped within 5 min, they had Tom take her out back and give her Benadryl and a steroid & she was lethargic for 5 hours before stood up. She had barrier aggression now since that day, and has super high anxiety now. Always on high alert. Thankfully my other dogs accept her behavior r there’d be many fights.

The last round required in Northern California just after the CV plandemic… gave all four of my dogs lumpy cancers and they all died except one. I am faced with the same ordeal now in a month with my last 13 1/2 old dog. She survived but still has lump growths. I doing everything I can to get a local vet to give her a titer test and diagnosis of immunodeficiency from the last round. They don’t want to help. It’s so sad and makes me cry for her.
What do I do. I cannot move just yet to a law passing exemption area out of state. The last rounds three years ago they switched to another brand IMRAB(horrible cancers!) I have been considering the NOBIVAC. Took 50 phone calls to find a vet with it. It has mercury though but at least they didn’t die from cancers before. What do I do😢

@@NoHandleNameScrewTube I understand your pain. My yellow lab died from agressive mast cell cancer 6 months after her rabies vacine at the age of 10. At that appointment they said she was in great health with only a small amount of arthritis in one knee. She was active and energetic. A month after the shot she started getting small bumps all over her body which quickly grew into large open sores that she licked constantly. 6 months later she was covered in large sores, had huge lumps in her belly and we finally put her down when she had no interest in life and seemed to be in pain. It was horrible.
We had taken our then 15 yr old cat in for his rabies shot and they asked if we wanted the regular shot or the cancer free shot. Never been asked that before, so we of course didn't choose the "cancer" shot. After reading about it and the dog getting sick and dying, we have chosen not to vaccinate him. He's 18, never goes outside. My sister has a friend who owned a small petting zoo and one of the animals was bitten by something. That animal was never found, but instead of a quarantine, they euthanized her animals. When she protested, and said the animals were up to daylte on their vaccines, the woman told her that doesn't matter because they don't work. It's insane.

My dog, Marleigh has NOT received a rabies vaccine in eight years. Four veterinarians discussed the vaccine for Marleigh because she has liver MVD. Every single time she previously had the rabies vaccine, her ALT and GGT were off the chart HIGH! If your dog has liver disease, please have liver enzymes checked BEFORE AND AFTER if you decide to vaccinate. All four vets agreed it was NOT a good idea for Marleigh to have ANY further vaccines. My state requires every three years and each county has their own requirements. My county is every year. All that is necessary IF there's ever any question about Marleigh's vaccine status, all I have to do is get a rabies titer .
