This was my favorite game on my dreamcast when I was a kid. I would invite my friends over and play all night. It introduced me to my passion for vehicular combat genre. Thanks for the great reviews! Watching this footage is bring back so much nostalgia.
I played this game religiously on the Dreamcast, countless hours of fun. One day I'll get myself a working Dreamcast and get all the games I had as a kid again, relive some of the good times. Really wish SEGA would develop and release a Dreamcast mini, they could even have Dream Arena with it. I'd get it in a heart beat.
Best car combat game ever! I always played this more than twisted metal. Plus this game has the most unique selection of characters and vehicles ever, and that truly makes it one of a kind.
never got to play the dreamcast version other than a demo that was on one of my brothers discs but i did own it on PS1. so much fun had, so many crushes on tsunami. goddamn the 90's were just fantastic.
One thing you forgot to mention is that it is possible to play the levels from the first game. On the n64 and possibly dream cast, you need to enter a code. on the ps1 you just swap the disc to vigilante 1.
I absolutely love that game and the 1st on the PlayStation. I still play them today. Only watching this video as my sister bought me a copy of this for the Dreamcast as a souvenir from her living in France and me visiting. So looking to buy Dreamcast and complete this game again

I won't let my nostalgia make this game out to be more than what it was but I do remember having a fun enough time playing this with friends in split screen mode on the Dreamcast back in the day.
Whammies actually increase damage if each attack damage by X2, X3, X4, increasing the time to kill. Also I think we invented the wheel attachments (changing wheels for track types) before any vehicle games like iconic games such as Mario Kart.
@@thejman5683 you know I don't remember. I don't think so but it would have been nice if they did a dreamcast release for it afterwards. i truly never realized it came out on the dreamcast. i only played it on n64 and playstation. The more you know! I absolutely loved this game. i put many hours into this game as a child. @@tropixx_xlr1549 That is correct, when TMSB was forced from PS2 to PS1 it kind of crippled the project forcing us to rewrite the engine while making the game.

If you do Star wars demolition. Do the dreamcast version, as there is a noticeable visual difference as compared to the ps1 version.
