Agreed, was one of my fave moments in BOTW, and it did let me down a bit in TOTK bc I beat all the monster groups and kind of expected something else to begin, but finding that pirate ship in the cave was awesome. TOTK is just so good I'm now expecting more at every turn.

Loved the video bro, gotta say though Eventide was pretty disappointing to me in the first game
This second one I had a lot of fun with the zonai devices and wish they took away my weapons to get me to experiment more. What killed it though was ultimately finding the ship because I was hoping the pirates in the game wouldn’t just be standard enemies. The Coliseum reeled me back in with a fun challenge and the reward made it all worth it

personally I didnt use all those fancy things you said in either game, I just cheesed it by stealing the balls in the BotW , and in TotK I just simply beat all the enemy with the weapon I already had, didnt use much of anything that was on the island. Also, the glider minigame is a truly terrible and slow way to farm ruppees lmao, it only gives 100 ruppes per like minute or two if you do it very fast. You can do stuff like fight rare ore Talus and sell the ores to the lady in Goron City for thousands of ruppees per 10 gem sold. there are so many things to collect everywhere that are worth TONS of ruppees I dont see how spending multiple minutes for only 100 ruppees helps anything lol.
I think Eventide Island was a LOT more fun in BotW personally, but still cool to see it in TotK as well, and the colosseum in the depths under it was one of the easy ones. there are much harder colosseum in the game with better rewards. The Lynel one gives so much loot its an amazing farming place.

My memory of the island is the way to get there. I flew off the cliff. I used up all my stamina food and I only made it because a rock was sticking out of the sea in front of the island.
The statement at the end of your video, something similar was also said by the RUclipsr Vaush. The game is felt with epic stuff that makes it feel the same at the beginning.
My important memories are: I wanted to have ridden from Kokoriko to Hateno, I came to Lyen and Hinox in front of the SnowMounten area, which was too cold and I went back.
I saw the Zora Mounten and traveled there instead. Zora, then Akala, then I wanted to go to Hateno. I traveled to Kakoriko again AND then I realized that I could climb over the mountain and walk to Hateno. Normally, in video games, mountains are a barrier that you can't overcome.
