700k of us don't know how to cut chicken breast xD
925k
My problem wasn't really that, the chicken I get always comes with a tendon as well as blood clots and this kind of white stretchy thing idk what it is. Ngl I was hoping to find out how to trim those parts off as well without waste.
@@shoobzy3431 , the white stretchy tendon is easy to remove. You’re going to need a fork & paper towels. It’s very difficult to explain so look up how to remove chicken tendon with fork. You will have tons of different videos to watch. Once you get the hang of it it’s simple. No more biting into your chicken & getting a mouthful of that tendon.
Nope….i’m a kitchen avoider…..I burn water.
dont forget to pet the chicken before you trim the fat
Lol

Glad I made it here before picking up the knife
I have a friend who can cut about 50 chicken breasts in 30 min.... He works in a Mexican. Restaurant it's amazing!!! Im still trying to learn.. It take me about 1 hour and 30 min
Good for the business and hungry customers. It be amazing to work as a Dishwasher and see your friend in person.
I know right😂
Lol Mexicanooooo,
I quit my job as a cook but I did it I could finally cut a box of chicken in 30 min
Tysm. I’m trying to make some chicken and pasta for my family lol
Oh man I love my 🅱️oneless chicken
Perfect tips!!! Thanks so much
Please don't wash and dry your chicken. The act of washing spreads raw chicken juice everywhere. Its a potential health risk
Wash the chicken? Is that allowed?
Now that I’ve told you how to cut the chicken, remember to pound it flat before hand! A little backwards.
why? first you carve it, then pound it if required
i dont think you always need to pound it, i dont when i make tenders
Its not backwards, they said “alternatively”, meaning do one or the other.
Is this same way for slicing fish or steak or any other kind of meat like pork?
you don't have to cut it or pound it so much if you roast it in the oven. If you use a lower heat like 350 it will cook all the way through
😮
Never ever wash chicken
Perfect! Thanks!
You're not supposed to wash raw chicken
What happens if you do?
projectilequestion when you wash chicken you are potentially contaminating everything within splashing distance with salmonella.
Right ok. Thanks.
Yes you are.
Very helpful 👍🏼
thanks
Thank you!!
This video is so weird, I have never seen breasts sold that way nor is it how you would portion up a whole chicken, and a cutlet is a chicken breast sliced in half horizontally what he refers to as a cutlet is the tenderloin.
What if you want a whole slice for say parmesan or frances or piccatta?
What about the blood vessels
thanks!!!
Epic fail from the start, you don't wash your meat.
Amazing
Great video, thanks :3
I feel like if i try this, i'll end up with ground chicken 😂
😂Easy does it
Rule 1..wear 🧤..I work at restaurant
wear gloves? waste of money. wash your hands.
they say do not wash chicken anymore
Huh. I never did wash it, but now I won't start.
I know from experience that washing chicken makes it extremely hard to cut. It's very slippery.
Good
1st step: wash and dry the chicken breast
...what 🤨
Everyone has their one opinions and reasons for washing it, but drying it helps to keep your hands on the chicken when cutting it. When its all wet and slimy, it’s hard to get precision cuts.
good
What kind of knife are you using? Thanks
I stopped watching when he said " wash and dry the chicken " no sane person would do that
Oh ok
I was thinking the same thing Julio Valencia
why is this not censored ?
It has breasts in it.
This is perfect for 13 years old boy
You never wash chicken
Take off that ring 🙃
Bodybuilders make some noooiiiiiissssseeeee
Doesn’t even know how to hold a knife
Not even using the right knife either
Not even the right chicken too😂😂😂

Think about it, if bacteria really spread that fast by simply exposing it to water or a liquid then how could you ever marinate your chicken? Wouldn't bacteria be growing in your marinade? There is nothing wrong with gently washing chicken. I do it in a colander in my sink. Some top chefs do it all the time. What you shouldn't do is splatter the water all over your counter, work surface and clothing. Just remember to always wash your sink and your hands after handling raw chicken. I've been washing chicken forever and haven't gotten sick once.
Yeah... The issue is, why risk the possible spreading of bacteria, when you are just going to cook the chicken? .... Washing your chicken does it no good...
For the record... The bacteria does grow in the marinade, that's why you must marinate in the fridge inside a sealed container. Afterwards, dispose of the marinade or boil it right away to decontaminate it.
You see, bacteria growth rates are mostly effected by temperature. A reason why it can be dangerous to use warm water with chicken is because water has a high specific heat and it gets into the cracks of the meat. This means water will transfer a lot of heat into cold objects before temperature equals out, and water can do this fast since the meat will draw heat from all over, inside and out.
This will cause bacteria to multiply fast since bacteria typically grows in the nanoseconds at room temperature.
You're supposed to wash chicken anyways.
Jonny Will not according to the fda
You really shouldn't wash chicken, it's a fucking stupid thing to do
Gosh that knife needs sharpening....
Wash it? Keep your ring on? Arghh

Aren't you not supposed to have your index finger pointing out?
