Exactly the same reaction from me too. I am father of two daughters but I trouble my mom to feed me from her hand every time I visit my parents place. Not because of anything, the test of the food when our mothers feed us, you cant find it from any luxurious hotel in the world. The secret is, when our mothers feeding us from their hands with all the tests of the food they mix up their endless love to each and every handful of food.

even tho Sri lanka doesnt have seasons like far northern/southern countries do , rubber trees make it happen, unlike many other trees in sri lanka which is evergreen, rubber trees have a season the leaves turn orange and yellow , then they fall after few weeks, rubber trees giving total Autumn vibe in Lanka , such a cool season to walk inside rubber forests
Who discovered the usefulness of the Rubber tree, like over 50% of invensions that we use today it may be the British in Singapore when local showed a white blob that came out of a tree which he called 'geta pachcha', perhaps a mixture of two languages. And they found it's insulation property. So, the rubber was invented. Thanks for the video!.

The location of Chaminda's family home, the trek to get there through jungle and streams, and the views omg!!! It DOES look like a movie setting - it looks too good to be true! If we loved it this much watching it on a screen, can't imagine what it would have been like for you guys to experience that nature in real life. I loved how Shanti was with the baby, it was so cute. And Chaminda's mum was the sweetest omg, the way she started helping Shanti take off her shoes straightaway, and the way she kissed Shanti's head when she gave Shanti the sweets, it was like she was spending time with her own granddaughter 🥰🥰🥰. You guys found an absolute gem. Most of the tourists that come to Sri Lanka won't have chance to go explore rural area like that. Believe me other than the famous tourist locations, Sri Lanka rural areas are heavily unexplored by tourists. So many beauties hidden in this land. It actually protects the nature massively. Even local tourists mostly won't get a chance to go such places
