Yeah! Love the PO-33...obviously😁 great beat, btw👏
🙌🙌🙌
I just bought this beautiful piece of technology for myself and I am already learning alot from your videos, Thanks alot.
Glad to help! 🙌 Once you learn your way around it’s really fun!
Nice. I've been getting back into my po133 lately. It's cool for no nonsense quick beat making. Never put it through the mk2 but definitely going to try that now
Dope man. It’s so much fun sending it through other devices! 🙌
This beat is lovely bro.
Much appreciated! Forgot about this one 😊
Very nice beat man. I love the PO 33! 👍
Thanks man appreciate it! Yeah its really fun apart from having to remember all the shortcuts every time lol. Accidentally deleted the sample a few times making this 😂
yes i do love my po-33!
🙌
Damn that's smooth!
Appreciate it 🙏
Pocket operators are underrated
They are a lot of fun and pretty powerful when combined with something like the SP 👌
The best thing about the PO-33 IMO is the sequencer. They absolutely nailed it given the limited interface
@@rorz999 and the sound
Ace groove. Cheers. Lee
Appreciate it 🙏
Sweet beat, love the piano. I dropped and bust my KO! ages ago, but it helped my production chops a lot with its charming lo-fi limitations
Appreciate it! Yeah I really need to get a case for mine before I regret it!
Awesome beat mate. cheers
Nice one man, thanks 🙏
Dope Beat!
Thanks man! 🙌
Official nominee for most hiss in a RUclips video
Check out ‘white noise to study to’ videos …😁 but yeah…it’s a noisy little thing this one. The compression on the mk2 wasn’t helping
@@spvidz I have one and was dealing with the same stuff the other day 😂 I dealt with it by turning off all compression and using the noise gate on my zoom ms70-cdr
Haha nice. The mk2 does have one as well but it makes everything sound a bit strange. I’ll have to remember to turn off the compressor until the end of the process maybe 🤔
Love the content, no BS straight to the point!
Thanks bro! 🙏
Great stuff! how do you find these jazzy piano samples?
Without sounding condescending, you have to listen to jazz and piano based jazz if thats the stuff you want to sample. Listening to more music is the best way to find more and better samples! Its tough at first but try and enjoy the experience of finding new music and digging for samples as its a large part of the whole sampled beat making experience
Nice video . How do you chain the patterns together to make it sound like a 4 bar loop?
Hold pattern then tap in the order you want your individual patterns to play back
@@spvidz thanks I appreciate it
I connected it to some self-powered ones and it sounds very weak. I connected it to a sound card connected to a PC and you can't hear anything and I connected it to an electric guitar amp and it sounds weak and terribly bad. I don't know what to do now, I bought it for a small live performance and I don't know what I should do. If someone can help me I would appreciate it very much.
Have you got the volume up? Hold down the BPM button and press 1 - 12 (1 being quietest volume, 12 being loudest) Also check the volume of your samples after you have sampled them in. Cycle through the FX until you see 'ton' then use the right hand dial. All that being said, I always run mine through the SP and add compression and volume
@@spvidz Thank you so much. Yes, I raised the volume, I think it's up to 16. I did several resets and it started to have a higher volume, but now it makes other errors or at least that's what it seems to me. When I play a sound over a pattern that is playing in the background, the sound works erratically and with distortions or does not sound at all. That doesn't always happen, it's kind of random.
@@spvidz I finally ordered a replacement and the new one works perfectly. Thank you.
Nice 👍
The po33 looks really difficult
It’s not too bad once you workout the workflow- The main thing is remembering the shortcuts. That can be a little tricky if you don’t use it for a while
Thanks for the reply man. You taught me how to use my sp404! That's cool but I will probably stick to this haha. I paired it with an SH-01a you would love that thing. it's a dope synth. Roland of course. Makes the perfect pair. @@spvidz
🙌
And now I'm thinking…why can't Teenage Egineering make an informative PO screen like the 404mk2 (with waveform and other settings), instead this useless video art!?)
PO mk2 🙂
lol yeah it would be very useful to see even a basic waveform as the chopping on this device requires extreme finger control!
seems like a nice piece to travel with thx for showing how it's beeing used
Definitely! Hook it up with a phone and you’ve got a tiny portable beat making setup!
