Before my Father passed he had two projects....both of which my brother sold after the funeral. He had a 57' Chevy Bel air (4 door) and a 53' Dodge P/u that he nearly finished ...if you come across a '53 Dodge....I'll come where you are to get it when you're done!
Yep, no disrespect to Brent but I'm a Ford in a Ford and on a Ford builder. My 51 still has the 226 Flat 6! Sorry but Chebby in a Ford is a no go for this guy but I'll be watching all the same.
I recognize that tell tale black oval on the driver side window of the 51 Ford. I lived in Manitoba in the early sixties, and most of the cars had these clear plastic panels that you stuck to your windows. They were secured by this adhesive backed black gasket.
BRENT VON FRANKENSTEIN always onto the next build! The graveyard of cars are never safe! LOL! Ya should do a tour of your yard of car's and truck's when the weather is better, and show us all the toy's and the plans you have for them?
I am just flabbergasted by the amount of ideas you have in the old brain bucket. I love watching because there is no lollygaging around. Thanks for another great show.
I absolutely love your channel I'm a 75 year old Georgia boy but you make me wanna move to Canada lol I love the rides you build they're such a nice change from evrything rat rod these days I like them also but your rides have that something special custom touch but I swear you cn build a car faster than rabbit can breed ---I just lost my ride leg and you channel has help me fill some ruff times Blessing and Prayers to you and yours
Excellent video Brent :) also S 10 frame is nice choice on 1950's Ford Pickup truck to also Van motor and transmission too ! Also have ever use S 15 extended cab also 4×4 frame in any your builds I have found just easy as S10 ones ever use one be happy how work out too! Also be more parts used of S10 body for build like Heater Core Fan plus it box to also turn signals off front bumper are orange to plus rad if any good too Brent :) there some can thinking about using! Also got most need there for sure ! I check Back drive axle ratio is and plus axle be long enough for build too !
Those front fenders are nuts, in a brilliant way, it's like having a picnic table either side of the hood. Or the ultimate "wide body" kit way before anyone knew it was a thing.🤔😆
Man, you do have some drive and energy. Being able to work on so much behind the scenes, while supplying us with the main project content on a regular basis is amazing. You are a machine.
Hi Gman..yes he has a lot of drive...he "went after it"...and probably started with a small tool box of tools...like I did....once one realizes their "excitement" (something that makes us get up in the mornings) then that's the key! I started out with a small tool collection I got from yard sales and now have a shop almost as big as Brents...but still don't have a lift yet :(. I've built numerous custom cars, trucks and a Jeep...and I just found out yesterday a car magazine wants to do a write-up on the Mustang Truck I just built...!!! I also built 2 award winning street rods...and I am just a big dummy and seems I always have to do things 2 times to get it right...but IMO it's not the skill level...it's the persistence. peace
I’m a big fan of your channel. But this build I’m really intrested in as a very good friend bought a ‘51 ford just like this on a S10 chassis stock s10 engine about 6 months ago and he is in love with the truck.
That fiberglass s10 cap was stronger than I thought it would be, picking up the whole bed and everything. The project is coming along great and look forward to watching it progress. Keep up the great work.
Nice truck. I had a 48 with a flathead V8. It was a very nice body but I sold it. Now I wish I didn't. Looking forward to another great build. Thanks for the video 👍
Sweet! I was waiting for you to get to that Ford back there, I own my Grampa's '51 F3 that he bought new off the lot in Colorado. My dad & I did a frame-off resto, & it's a cool Sea Breeze Green.
congratulations, your work is inspiring and now with the ford 51 I wait for each chapter as if it were the a-team... hahahaha...! Saludos from Argentina...!
Your builds are so interesting and fast. WOW another great build can hardly wait because I learn a lot from each of your builds but will never be able to come close doing your work. It"s Like watching a great Dancer and I can not Dance at all but enjoy every move you make.
Love the old trucks original gas's,air and spark they run. It would be awesome for a daily driver. I'm old school don't care for all the technology in the new one's today. Love to see you fixing them up Brent keep up the good work 👍👍.
Thawing water line, been there. 12 volt demand pump, coil of 1/4” air brake tubing and a pail of water. Disconnect line, place pail under line and start pushing 1/4” tubing down. Find the ice and turn on pump. Catch water coming out in pail. Recirculate water and keep pushing tubing as it thaws. Doesent take much. Cold water works fine.
Simple and straight forward ! Nice ! One thing I’ve learned about old trucks is if it’s that clean chances are it’s a truck from a crop farm , they usually get parked for the winter and not needed till planting season and if it’s a cattle farm it’s usually rusty because they use them in the winter for getting and transporting feed so they get the salt !
Before my Father passed he had two projects....both of which my brother sold after the funeral. He had a 57' Chevy Bel air (4 door) and a 53' Dodge P/u that he nearly finished ...if you come across a '53 Dodge....I'll come where you are to get it when you're done!
Excellent job on whitie she turned out spiffy,
Can’t wait to see this one done ,
Ciao uncle
Wise Decision To Keep The Existing Patina. I'm Looking Forward To Updates On This Baby as Well My Friend. Have a Blessed Wknd Ahead 👍🤗, Gary.
Moving lotta stuff around. That’s the way it is between projects.
I keep hearing about S10's being used for projects..so cool! And no body work!
I suppose there is no talking you out of it, but those trucks fit real nice on an Explorer chassis. Don't even get me started on LS swaps!
Yep, no disrespect to Brent but I'm a Ford in a Ford and on a Ford builder. My 51 still has the 226 Flat 6! Sorry but Chebby in a Ford is a no go for this guy but I'll be watching all the same.
Haha this one is for a buddy of mine so I didn't choose the donor parts haha
I recognize that tell tale black oval on the driver side window of the 51 Ford. I lived in Manitoba in the early sixties, and most of the cars had these clear plastic panels that you stuck to your windows. They were secured by this adhesive backed black gasket.
Frost shields think there was some made in Winkler here.

Couldn't help but imagining Pablo doing the "roll that beautiful bean footage" bit for your segue to stripping the s10
That truck will look great with the original patina
This is Glenn Campbell using my wife's old phone and you got a new subscriber.
BRENT VON FRANKENSTEIN always onto the next build! The graveyard of cars are never safe! LOL! Ya should do a tour of your yard of car's and truck's when the weather is better, and show us all the toy's and the plans you have for them?

That is a pretty cool look, the white on black in the thumbnail. I know it's accidental but it looks pretty bad ass that way.
Good to see Pablo to keep an eye on you when you are moving frames around 👌
Your like a surgeon with that fork lift mate 😎🤣🤣
Nice camera work and editing. I like the eyes in the sky shots.

Those were some solid clamps between that topper and that pickup bed to hold all that weight!
Excellent video Brent :) also S 10 frame is nice choice on 1950's Ford Pickup truck to also Van motor and transmission too ! My dog Ringo loves to ride in my 1930 tudor sedan with that 383 stroker. He really loves to hear those headers open up.
Somebody did a lot of work on that old frame with the Mustang II suspension. I hope you can find a home for it.
Wow a new build.
Like me you have probably a million builds that you want to do.
I like to see a old school wrecker one day at least it be useful
Glad your leaving the body just the way it is sitting now. Going to be a really cool truck!

Those front fenders are nuts, in a brilliant way, it's like having a picnic table either side of the hood. Or the ultimate "wide body" kit way before anyone knew it was a thing.🤔😆

Carona and i enjoyed! I sold hundreds of those in the 90's! Watching you work that loader was magical!
Man, you do have some drive and energy. Being able to work on so much behind the scenes, while supplying us with the main project content on a regular basis is amazing. You are a machine.

You are one industrious dude. I really like the old Ford pickup, this is going to be fun to watch.
Nice truck. I had a 48 with a flathead V8. It was a very nice body but I sold it. Now I wish I didn't. Looking forward to another great build. Thanks for the video 👍
Lovin the cuts with multiple Cameras. Looking proper slick 👌🏻
You seem to be a pretty fair hand with a front end loader. You never cease to amaze me.
Sweet! I was waiting for you to get to that Ford back there, I own my Grampa's '51 F3 that he bought new off the lot in Colorado. My dad & I did a frame-off resto, & it's a cool Sea Breeze Green.
Sooo am I to understand that your Ford is still a Ford and not another Chevy? If so....
THANK YOU!
Im so hooked 😂
congratulations, your work is inspiring and now with the ford 51 I wait for each chapter as if it were the a-team... hahahaha...! Saludos from Argentina...!
Looking forward to following another (not so) half ass build!!
Your builds are so interesting and fast. WOW another great build can hardly wait because I learn a lot from each of your builds but will never be able to come close doing your work. It"s Like watching a great Dancer and I can not Dance at all but enjoy every move you make.

Yeah been struggling with it still no go haha
I shure do miss my 51. Should have never sold it. I swapped the broken flathead six for a 390 out of a 63 Mercury.
