No man who runs away from his wedding and publicly humiliates his wife and then abandons her deserves a second chance. No man that treats his wife like an object he owns and controls deserves a second chance. Ever.
Running away and humiliating the girl so much for no rhyme or reason.. then staying away for years not days... such a man has a black mark that shouldn't be erased... he doesn't deserve any chances and his arrogance on the face of it is disgusting. There are a couple of dramas ( with multiple kids after a one night stand) where the FL runs away in the end ... I am always annoyed by such stories... but this one is a fit scenario for that 😅 And I don't what is the drama maker's fetish for wasting years out of people's life... 3 years, 5 years.. 7 years.. anything goes 😢 Life is short for heaven's sakes.
I liked this movie. What he did by abandoning her at the wedding was horrible and his reasoning, which still isn’t clear to me (and I’ve seen this movie on multiple channels), doesn’t justify it. And his attitude coming back is so arrogant that it makes you want to slap him, like she is supposed to play happy wife now that he is back. But what turned it for me was the come to Jesus conversation with his buddy. His friend laid out the facts about how hard it was for her to manage everything herself, the dangers she encountered and why she doesn’t rely on him for help. The friend was totally on the wife’s side and had her back. Even though he was already supporting his wife, the ml kicked it in to high gear and did what he could to win back her trust and affection. To me, it was a happy ending.
