I've seen the actor who played the scumbag in other dramas and he's always scumbag. I guess they're training him up to be the protagonist. The FL is beautiful.
This is my 4th version. The premise of this story that makes it a little different is FL having the ability to wipe out her identity and disappear to get a different life. The problem with the writers is they wasted that very interesting premise by making her so easily found. The only version where FL was able to actually disappear for 5 years was the version with Cai Caiyun & Karong. That was a well done version, except for the ending where writers gave ML a heroic death he didn’t deserve. I liked the 1st version, which I can't find in my history anymore, so I guess it got taken down. However, the problem with that 1st version is writers made FL found too soon. This version was OK. I really liked FL showing the collage of betrayal evidence at the wedding. The other 3 versions didn't do that and I wanted FL to do that so bad, so I was cheering when FL did that in this version.
Agree! FL exposing ML's ugly evidence to the public is a good move, unfaithful hypocrites should be exposed! But seems like these MLs have deceived themselves the most though ~ that they still believe that "they love the FLs"!! While we viewers can all see that what the FL pointed out to ML in this drama is correct: "You do not love me, you just love your loyal affectionate image in front of others!" and FL told the 2FL at the end:" He does not love anyone, he only loves himself!" and FL's concluding words: "If there is a second life, I don't want to know you!" As comparing to the version by Cai Caiyun & Karong, this version again got the ML killed at the end, this one to save the FL, Karong's ML saved FL's adopted daughter. Agree with you that they did not deserve a heroic death, I believe that the script writers just want to "get rid of them for good" and no better way than having them dead! 😂 Among these various versions, Cai Caiyun's FL acting almost got me in tears, the heart-breaking betrayal by a husband after being through so much together was just too cruel!! 😣 Lastly, all versions gave the FL a good ending one way or the other, that's the only good part in such tragic situation! 😊

I like the ending of the other version better. Nobody had to die or get hurt. She just left him, she didn't pretend to die. She didn't reconcile with him till the end, but he broke off with his friends who goad him to have a mistress and he looked after her from afar, didn't approach her anymore. She also didn't get a new beau but she adopted a child and lived with her.
I don't like it. The fact that she didn't get a new partner and just settled for being a lonely old spinster with an adopted child for the rest of her life makes it seem like She still always truly loved him and wanted to be with him but she had principles and a moral high ground. If they had ended it with her being happily with someone else that it would have shown that she truly no longer cared about him.
I understand that these shows are over the top and unrealistic but the fact that they just wheel a corpse into the wedding as part of their plot and absolutely nobody in the audience is reacting to this as if this just sometimes happens on occasions at weddings 😂😂😅

Moving on and being happy does not always have to involve a partner so soon. I liked the wedding part in this version that she finally exposed his lies in front of everybody compared to other versions where she just run. Personally this one, just like the rest took too much time for her to leave, I wouldn't be able to see them making out and go quietly home. The ending, one plus is that she got a new love interest, one minus, the guy dont deserve a single tear from her, she donated her kidney to him which resulted to her being infertile and he was making out everywhere with his mistress, even in wedding dress shop while his wife was there and even got his mistress pregnant.

I’ve seen this plot a lot. I’m gonna be so honest this is the worse version I’ve seen. They spent a long time with her just leaving him. Then when she finally leaves he basically find her right away. I know this is a shorter version since most are normally 1 hour and 30 minutes. But everything felt rushed. Ending felt rushed. I did kind of like they didn’t make her this almighty form of mothering where the ML couldn’t live without her when she not home 😂 although it does add to the plot I like she is kind of normal and he cheated and she was like well that’s not worth my time. Could’ve been good just not executed correctly 🤷♂️ oh wait I have to add, the faking her death was so stupid and pointless.
